'Ghosts 'n Qualities' Update V.0.7 Patch Notes

Welcome traveler,

to the re-textured kingdom of Twin Falls! Here it finally is, the update that brings 'Quest Journal', optional dungeon mapping, new optional dungeon, ghosts, better crafting and so much more.

It's true, this update really brings optional dungeon mapping also. If you want to get yourself a 'Magic Map' to help you on your journey, pay a visit to the Royal Cartographer in the Castle's East Wing. He's got one to spare, but he will ask you a favour in return. You can assign the 'Magic Map' in any of the hot keys and use it like any other tool.

Now this is important for those, who play with old saves: If the player icon in the minimap in outside areas is still square, go to the Castle Town North and it should be fixed automatically. If you already are there and it doesn't change, exit the area and come back there. Same with the 'Instant Movement' option menu fix, if it doesn't work properly with old saves.

Quest Journal should update most of the quests in the old saves also, but some quests may need talking to certain npcs to update properly. You should be able to find out who to talk from the quest descriptions.

Though 'Codex' is now added, there's not much lore around yet, but that will change in the coming updates. But there are key bindings and information about character classes, stats and skills.

  • Some minor changes to Bandit Cave and Lighthouse's basement, doesn't really change the map layout or affect the gameplay - these are for the 'Magic Map' to work correctly
  • 'Missing Scout' quest's simplest solution has an ending, others will follow later
  • 'Unknown Silk' quest has ending
  • 'Broken Sword' quest has ending
  • Re-designed 'Grudge for Resurrection' quest
  • Better day/night cycle
  • Some changes to enemies at night in some Twin Falls areas
  • 'Eye of an Oracle' drains 'energy points' slightly slower
  • Cloaks and Gloves moved into 'Equipment' menu in Magic Shops
  • Rings added to Castle Town Magic Shop
  • Curiosity Shop has Spirit Lantern (can also be found somewhere else, if you haven't found the membership card)

  • Fixed an error that had been copied to all damage formulas, this means that combat may need some more balancing in the future, but now the formula works exactly like intended
  • In dialog choices the first option is highlighted in shops and conversations
  • Fixed some light bleeding in Bandit Cave
  • Shadows work again properly
  • Zombie in the Great Forest North walks now properly and starts the right battle
  • Smuggler's Cave jar loot fixed
  • 'Instant Movement' options menu fixed
