[p][/p][h2]A sneak peek at what's coming up[/h2][p]Hey Parcel Inspectors! I have some exciting new stuff in the works that I wanted to share with you all. These updates aren't available just yet, but I thought it'd be good to share some info about them in a devlog-style format.[/p][p][/p][h2]๐Ÿญ A New Warehouse[/h2][p]Currently code-named "Warehouse 2" (better name pending), this will be an entirely new facility made available for purchase once reaching Tier 14 in the existing Parcel Sim warehouse. This warehouse will require you to sort parcels in new ways using new machines, but with a link to your existing warehouse.[/p][p]I hear your calls for more stuff to do, and more space to expand into, and I hope this warehouse will provide just that! I didn't want to simply add more tiers onto the existing warehouse as there's no clear direction to expand, and it feels the right size for the current set of doors available.[/p][p][/p][h2]โ˜๏ธ Raised Conveyors[/h2][p]By far the most requested feature I have received has been for some form of raised or stacked conveyor belts, either as a replacement for Bridge Conveyors or to simply increase warehouse throughput. While still fairly early days, I'm currently working on an implementation to make this possible.[/p][p]I hope to have something playable on the staging branch in the coming weeks to test it out ahead of release. The tricky part at the moment is making sure the placement controls feel right as it can get quite messy when you have two layers of belts running along one another![/p][p][/p][h2]๐ŸŽ„ Festive Themed Warehouse[/h2][p]'Tis the holiday season, and so the warehouse is getting a small Christmassy makeover! This is a small themed update with a new gift-wrap parcel type and some decorations. Stay tuned as I hope to have this released very soon![/p][p][/p][h2]๐Ÿฑ Sandbox Mode[/h2][p]Again, another heavily requested feature is a sandbox or "creative" mode, to allow you to freely build, expand, and spawn your automation setups with unlimited money and some quicker prototyping tools. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Update 1.0.4 - Adjustable Launchers, Divider Walls & More! ๐Ÿ“ฆ
[p]Hey Parcel Inspectors! I'm back again with another update, this time including a few new additions and some further quality of life improvements.[/p][p][/p][h3][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/h3][h3]๐Ÿš€ Adjustable Launchers[/h3][p]Ever had a launcher that doesn't quite launch where you want it to? Or accidentally upgraded a launcher, only to find it now messes up your setup? Well launchers are now fully adjustable, with two screens on the side allowing both the power and angle to be changed between a set of options. You can still upgrade launchers as before, but these will instead now only affect the speed parcels move along the belt, rather than the launch power/angle.[/p][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿงฑ Divider Walls[/h3][p]There are now a set of divider walls available in the Decorations section of the shop, which you can place anywhere in your warehouse. Use them to designate different areas of your warehouse, prevent launched parcels falling off the end of belts, or build yourself a box office :P [/p][p][/p][h3]๐ŸŽจ Painted Conveyors Correctly Pack and Unpack[/h3][p]Now when repacking painted conveyors into delivery boxes, the paint colour will be saved. You'll be able to see what colour something is with the coloured circle in the top corner of the label. Also, at the bottom of the screen you can now see the name of a shop delivery item, to make finding the conveyor you're looking for easier. [/p][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿ’ฌ Better Repacked Item Visibility[/h3][p]Lots of players shared that when interacting with lots of repacked conveyors, it was often difficult to differentiate them from one another. I've added a text label to the bottom of the screen which appears when hovering over repacked items to try and help with this.[/p][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿฉท Pink and White Storage Racks[/h3][p]There are now two new colours for storage racks in the shop: pink and white.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]โœจ Features[/h3]
  • [p]Added adjustable screens to launcher conveyors, and made the upgrade level now only change the speed of the belt itself rather than launch power. Note: you may have to change some of the settings on your existing launchers to match what they were previously set to.[/p]
  • [p]Added wall dividers to the decorations section of the shop[/p]
  • [p]Added pink and white storage racks[/p]
  • [p]Added the name of a hovered repacked item/shop delivery to the bottom of the screen[/p]
[h3]๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where diverters with two exits set to the same cargo type would cause certain cargo type parcels to be sent the incorrect direction[/p]
  • [p]Level 2 and 3 loaders are now faster at loading, as well as having a faster move speed[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the incorrect A1/B1/C1 labeling on doors/displays[/p]
  • [p]Changed 20->30 in the description for large pallets[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a potential crashing issue[/p]

UPDATE 1.0.3 (SCANNER MISTAKES FIX + BRIDGE OVERHAUL)

๐Ÿ“ฆ Update 1.0.3 - Scanner mistakes fix & bridge improvements! ๐Ÿ“ฆ
[p]Hey Parcel Inspectors! This update brings some heavily requested fixes from the community: fixes to scanners causing mistakes in fully automated setups, and reducing bottlenecks caused by bridge conveyors. This update is a little light, but fixing these bugs has been an absolute nightmare to be honest! Now that the super nasty and time consuming issues are out of the way, I'm hoping to have 1.0.4 out within the next couple of weeks along with some new content![/p][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿ” Scanner Mistakes Fix[/h3][p]For those unaware, there has been an intermittent issue present which caused a very small number of parcels to be incorrectly scanned by scanners, causing mistakes to be output even with fully automated setups. This was an incredibly nasty bug to fix, as finding a consistent way to reproduce the issue was near-impossible. Thanks to help from the Discord community I was able to find a repro, and fix this problem. If you're still finding this issue is present do reach out, but hopefully now it should be resolved![/p][p][/p][h3]๐ŸŒ‰ Bridger Conveyor Improvements[/h3][p]Bridger conveyors have been a pain-point for many players as they have failed to queue up parcels in the same way that straight or corner conveyors do, instead behaving like one single long conveyor. This has now been changed such that parcels will queue up along the bridge.[/p][p][/p][p]I also saw from the community that bridges were getting "stuck" after loading in from a save, or starting a new day, meaning you had to constantly go around unblocking stuck bridges. This should hopefully also now be resolved, as bridge conveyors have more sensibly colliders across their full length, rather than just at the top.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]MAJOR: Fixed the issue where scanners incorrectly validated parcels sometimes, causing mistakes to be output in fully automated setups[/p]
  • [p]Bridges now behave as if they are 3 separate pieces, allowing parcels to traverse them in the same way that parcels navigate straight/corner conveyors[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bridges getting stuck after loading from save by adding new colliders across the full length of them[/p]
  • [p]Added missing arrows to contents diverter conveyor[/p]

Thanks for your patience on this update, I've had a few IRL roadblocks over the last few weeks that have held me back, but I'm now back up and running and working on updates! This update brings some bug fixes and some small bits of new content, namely the Multi Joiner Conveyor, additional levels for the Conveyor Deliveries upgrade, and translation into four new languages![/p][p][/p][h3]๐ŸŒ Languages Update[/h3][p]Parcel Simulator now supports 11 languages! The Multi Joiner now allows for this, and can be purchased in the shop.[/p][p][/p][h3]โคด๏ธ Conveyor Deliveries Upgrade[/h3][p]Until now, the conveyor belts in the delivery doors have not been upgradable. To make the process of upgrading these belts simpler, I've added two new tiers to the "Conveyor Deliveries" upgrade, in the Upgrades tab, which increments all belts in all delivery doors to levels 2 and 3 when upgraded.[/p][p][/p][h3]๐Ÿ“ฆ Pallets Should Now Save Correctly[/h3][p]Pretty simple, Pallets should now save the parcels and shop deliveries that are attached to them after sleeping or exiting the game![/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]โœจ Features[/h3]

  • [p]Added directional arrows to joiner, diverter, and splitter conveyors to better indicate the in/out directions during placement[/p]
  • [p]Stamps on envelope parcels now appear on the front, next to the weight class, rather than on the back of the parcel to make it clearer that these parcels do have Stamps[/p]
  • [p]Added a toast notification which warns of the required warehouse tier when trying to upgrade belts without the correct tier unlocked[/p]
  • [p]Added a "Q" hotkey icon next to "Pick up" when hovering over items that can be repacked[/p]
