[/p][p][/p][p]Now, let us walk you through the changes coming to Sky Island for the 12th anniversary.[/p][p]Here is the news regarding the 12th Anniversary Festival.[/p][p]
[/p][p]■ Summoners War 12th Anniversary Festival [/p][p]- Event Period: Apr. 13 - May 31[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ 12th Anniversary Stage and Visuals on Sky Island[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Along with a stage celebrating the 12th anniversary, Sky Island will feature display panels, fireworks, and laser effects to add festivity.[/p][p]On the stage, you can watch performances by Valkyrja, Hell Lady, Chakram Dancer, Boomerang Warrior, and Assassin in their Idol Star Transmogrifications. We have decorated Sky Island so that the lively performances of these Monsters, combined with massive display panels, allow you to enjoy the anniversary vibe.[/p][p]The lineup on the stage will change at regular intervals during the festival, showcasing various performance motions. We hope that watching which stage the Idol Star Monsters present will add a small joy to your gameplay.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ 12th Anniversary Special Mermaid Transmogrification[/p][p]The special Transmogrification we prepare every anniversary has arrived again this year.[/p][p]The winner of the 12th Anniversary Transmogrification is Mermaid, transformed into a special look fitting for the celebration.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]The name of this Transmogrification, featuring Mermaid sitting atop a mysterious moon-like object, is "Lunar Star." It will be provided through a 12th anniversary event, so don't miss your chance to obtain it. Furthermore, Lunar Star Mermaid is also scheduled to appear on the 12th anniversary stage. Check out Mermaid in its Transmog first and then again on the stage.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ 12 Decoration Items for the 12th Anniversary[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Twelve different decoration items that capture the festival spirit will be added to the Shop.[/p][p]The stage-shaped decoration item in the center of the image is particularly noteworthy.[/p][p]This item is a special placement building where you can place one Monster of your choice, and you can purchase up to three to install on your Sky Island.[/p][p][/p][p]In particular, if you place Monsters appearing on this year's anniversary stage—such as those with Idol Star Transmogrifications or the 12th Anniversary Mermaid—in this building, they will perform with exclusive animations.[/p][p]Try out these diverse, festival-themed items to make your Sky Island even more spectacular.[/p][p]We look forward to seeing your wonderful decorating skills.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ Diverse 12th Anniversary Events[/p][p]When you touch the stage building mentioned above, a dedicated 12th anniversary space will open,[/p][p]allowing you to conveniently enjoy 12th anniversary events and content in one place.[/p][p]Here is a brief introduction to what we have prepared.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]
[/p][p]\[12th Anniversary Gallery][/p][p]A special gallery of Summoners War awaits you. The gallery is filled with a variety of content, including never-before-seen concept art and stories of Monsters! New content will be revealed every day, so you can look forward to seeing what's new each time you log in.[/p][p]
[/p][p]\[12th Anniversary Check-in Gift][/p][p]You can earn various daily rewards by checking in every day during the 12th anniversary period.[/p][p]Don't forget to visit and claim all your gifts.[/p][p]
[/p][p]\[12th Anniversary Cinematic Trailer][/p][p]We have prepared a special cinematic video to celebrate the 12th anniversary.[/p][p]The trailer is available for you to re-watch anytime within the building, so please sit back and enjoy![/p][p][/p][p]You can also jump directly to the 12th anniversary event page or check the amount of event currency held on the main page.[/p][p]Various rewards are available in exchange for the event currency during the festival period.[/p][p]Detailed information about the 12th anniversary special events will be announced separately on April 10 KST.[/p][p]We appreciate your patience as we finalize these exciting events.[/p][p][/p][p]That concludes the news for the 12th Anniversary Festival.[/p][p]We hoped to repay your long-standing love with various things to see and do on Sky Island.[/p][p][/p][p]We would also like to share the details of the updates we have prepared. Let's move on to the update news.[/p][p]
[/p][p]■ Summon Mileage System[/p][p][/p][p]A Summon Mileage system will be added, bringing you one step closer to summoning a default 5★ Monster with every summon.[/p][p]Summon Mileage accumulates whenever you use scrolls in the Summonhenge.[/p][p]Mileage is earned based on the type of scroll used, and once you collect 2,000 mileage,[/p][p]you will be able to summon a default 5★ Fire, Water, or Wind Monster.[/p][p][/p][p]The types of scrolls eligible for mileage and the points earned per scroll are as follows.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Here is a look at the Summonhenge screen with the added Summon Mileage.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]An icon that fills up like a gauge will be added to the Summonhenge menu.[/p][p]This menu will only appear for scrolls that are eligible for Summon Mileage.[/p][p][/p][p]We also have a preview of the screen when the Summon Mileage is fully charged.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]In this state, 5★ summon is available with full mileage. You get one summon per 2,000 mileage.[/p][p]Since mileage can accumulate beyond 2,000, you can summon at your convenience without worrying about losing excess points.[/p][p]Please note that \[Splendid Blessing of Summon] does not apply when performing a 5★ summon using mileage.[/p][p][/p][p]We prepared this Summon Mileage system to give more meaning to every summon you perform.[/p][p]Most scrolls, including Mystical Scrolls, are eligible for mileage. We hope you can enjoy summoning as usual and use the accumulated mileage to more easily acquire the 5★ Fire, Water, or Wind Monsters you need.[/p][p][/p][p]Next, we would like to introduce the second part of the 12th Anniversary Update: a new piece of equipment called \[Relic].[/p][p]
[/p][p]■ New Equipment: \[Relic][/p][p][/p][p]Runes and Artifacts now have a new companion.[/p][p]\[Relic], a brand-new type of Monster equipment, is coming to Summoners War.[/p][p][/p][p]First, let us briefly explain what Relics are.[/p][p]While Runes and Artifacts are equipment used by one Monster at a time,[/p][p]a single Relic can be applied to up to 100 Monsters simultaneously.[/p][p][/p][p]For example, if you obtain a Relic with the property that deals increased damage proportional to Attack Power, you can engrave this Relic on up to 100 Monsters that benefit from high Attack Power, such as Chow, Sonia, and Masha.[/p][p]We believe many of you have experienced the disappointment of obtaining a great Rune or Artifact but only being able to engrave it on one Monster; Relics allow you to share the same effect among the Monsters you use without such restrictions.[/p][p]Please also keep in mind that Relics can be applied to Monsters that have reached Lv. 40.[/p][p][/p][p]Let's continue with the visual aids prepared![/p][p]Here is a screen of a Monster equipped with a Relic.[/p][p]After the 12th Anniversary Update, the Monster Inventory will change as below.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]A new Relic tab will be added, with Artifacts placed to the left of Runes and the Relic slot placed to the right.[/p][p]Through this menu, you can apply the necessary Relics to your Monsters.[/p][p][/p][p]Furthermore, we have designed the UI so that you can also apply Relics to desired Monsters in detailed settings.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]The UI is designed to allow you to either decide which Relic to equip based on a specific Monster[/p][p]or see which Monsters pair well with a specific Relic, ensuring an intuitive way to utilize your Monsters and Relics.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, let's go into more specific details about what kind of Relics are available.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ Relic Composition[/p][p]A Relic consists of two parts: one \[Main Property] and one \[Unique Property].[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]
[/p][p]\[Main Property][/p][p]One of three properties—Attack Power, Defense, or HP—is randomly assigned as the main property upon obtaining a Relic.[/p][p]Similar to the main property of a Rune, the value of the main property increases as the Power-up level rises.[/p][p]To help you understand, we've prepared a table showing the values for each Power-up level.[/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]\[Unique Property][/p][p]The unique property is a special effect fixed to the Relic itself, assigned when the Relic is first obtained.[/p][p]Unlike Runes, new unique properties are not added as you power up. Instead, the value of the initially assigned unique property changes to a set value based on the Power-up level.[/p][p][/p][p]Unique Properties trigger effects proportional to a Monster's stats.[/p][p]For instance, a Relic might have a property like "DMG dealt +1% per 2,500 ATK at the start of battle."[/p][p]The values assigned per Power-up level for such property are as follows.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]There are a total of 16 types of unique properties, categorized into six groups based on their functions.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Looking at the three main properties and 16 unique properties,[/p][p]many of you are likely already thinking about which Relics would best suit your Monsters.[/p][p]As mentioned, since one Relic can be applied to up to 100 Monsters, it would be a good strategy to group your Monsters in advance.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ Relic Durability There is an important point you must know regarding Relic Power-ups. It's the \[Durability] system, which does not exist for Runes or Artifacts. Every Relic starts with a Durability of 3, and each time a Power-up fails, the Durability decreases by 1. Once Durability reaches 0, you can no longer attempt to power up that Relic. Unlike Runes, which can be powered up to +15 with sub properties added or increased randomly, Relics are assigned fixed values upon each successful Power-up within a limited Durability. Therefore, the key is how many successful Power-ups you can achieve before failing three times. If Durability is exhausted, further Power-ups are impossible, but the Relic will not be destroyed and can still be used on Monsters. Relics that cannot be powered up further or don't fit your needs can be broken down for \[Relic Pieces] and \[Relic Power-up Stones]. You will obtain a set amount of \[Relic Pieces] upon breaking down Relics regardless of the Power-up level, which can then be used for Relic Crafting. \[Relic Power-up Stones] are used for powering up Relics and are distributed differentially upon breaking down Relics based on the Power-up level.[/p][p]
[/p][p]▶ Relic Acquisition[/p][p]Relics and materials for Power-ups can be obtained through the following methods.[/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]Since a single Relic can be applied to up to 100 Monsters simultaneously,[/p][p]we designed Relics to be harder to obtain compared to Runes or Artifacts.[/p][p]We prepared this Relic update imagining a gameplay style where you grow your Monsters[/p][p]by obtaining and powering up necessary Relics over a slightly longer period compared to Runes or Artifacts.[/p][p][/p][p]This concludes the introduction of the new \[Relic] system.[/p][p]As this is the first new type of equipment in a long time, we hope you can develop your own unique strategies while experiencing various ways to utilize them.[/p][p] [/p][p]■ Summoner's Way \[Special] Tasks[/p][p][/p][p]A new \[Special] section will be added to Summoner's Way.[/p][p]By completing three types of tasks, you can earn the following special final rewards.[/p][p] [/p][p]* 4★ Monster Support: Select and summon a default 4★ Monster (Fire/Water/Wind).[/p][p]* 5★ Monster Support: Select and summon a default 5★ Monster (Fire/Water/Wind).[/p][p]* 5★ Monster Power-up: Level up the skills of default 5★ Monsters up to 10 times.[/p][p][/p][p]These Special tasks are permanent missions with no time limit.[/p][p]They consist of missions that can be achieved while playing Summoners War, such as summoning or clearing specific content.[/p][p][/p][p]This is the screen you see when entering the \[Special] tab in Summoner's Way.[/p][p]You can pre-select your target Monster by touching the \[+] area in the center and view the mission details in the \[Mission List] below.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]In this example, we have selected Fire Mercenary Queen.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]You can freely change your selected Monster at any time before the summon is complete.[/p][p]The 5★ Monster Power-up mission also allows you to change the target Monster whenever you like.[/p][p]If needed, you can switch Monsters midway and use the remaining skill level-up counts on a different Monster.[/p][p][/p][p]We have summarized the Special task mission details and the rewards available.[/p][p]You will earn 10 Mission Points for each mission completed and can claim rewards based on your accumulated points.[/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]Please note that missions for reaching Summoner Levels, clearing the Trial of Ascension, and owning 6★ Lv. 40 Monsters will be applied retroactively.[/p][p][/p][p]We believe these tasks will serve as a strong foundation for new Summoners starting their journey,[/p][p]and we hope the rewards are attractive for our existing Summoners as well.[/p][p]Since all Summoners can participate and earn these rewards equally, we wish you enjoy claiming them as you play.[/p][p][/p][p]Additionally, we have prepared various improvements to make Summoners War more enjoyable.[/p][p]Here are the improvements scheduled for the 12th Anniversary Update.[/p][p] [/p][p]■ Improvements Coming Soon[/p][p] [/p][p]▶ Summoner's Way Quests Improved[/p][p]- Challenge: The Monsters rewarded for clearing Necropolis and Spiritual Realm quests will be changed to ones that are more helpful for dungeon strategies. The Fusion Mission requirement will also be changed from the current Wind Dryad to the more practical Fire Vampire.[/p][p] [/p][p]▶ Ameria's Luck Scope Expanded[/p][p]Ameria's Blessing will now apply to Attribute Dungeons in the Cairos Dungeon.[/p][p] [/p][p]▶ Fusion Monsters Added to \[4★ Summon List > Auto Register > Recommended Monsters][/p][p]Fusion Monsters added during auto-registration will be marked with a Fusion Monster icon,[/p][p]and you can check their Fusion info in the Monster info pop-up. This will be useful for Summoners aiming for Monster Fusion.[/p][p] [/p][p]▶ Monster Artwork Renewal[/p][p]The appearance of some Monsters who have guarded Sky Island with us for a long time will be renewed.[/p][p]The target Monsters are: Forest Keeper, Low Elemental, Maned Boar, Sylph, Sylphid, Phoenix, and Polar Queen.[/p][p]Here is a sneak peek at one of the images we prepared.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]That is all for the introduction of the improvements.[/p][p]We are currently working to prepare these updates with a target date of April 13.[/p][p]Please note once again that the values and details provided in this Developer's Note may change during final development.[/p][p][/p][p]Lastly, we'd like to wrap up this Developer's Note by sharing a preview of additional content for the 12th Anniversary Update, which we are aiming to release in late April.[/p][p]
[/p][p]■ Late April Update: Deck Preset Feature[/p][p][/p][p]We are working on a Preset feature designed to help you navigate and enjoy Summoners War's various content with greater ease.[/p][p][/p][p]Here is a brief look at the main aspects of the Deck Preset feature we are working on.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- What is a Preset?[/p][p]: This is an advanced version of the existing Save Deck feature. A Preset saves not only the Monster info but also the Rune and Artifact info engraved on those Monsters.[/p][p]: Since information is saved separately for each deck, you can set the same Runes and Artifacts on Monsters saved in different Preset decks.[/p][p]: For Rune and Artifact info saved in a Preset, you can still use a Monster with the saved Preset info even if you have changed the Monster's default Runes and Artifacts.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- The existing Save Deck feature will be changed to Preset.[/p][p]: Along with this change, Presets will be additionally provided for Temple of Chaos / Cairos Dungeon / Rift Beast / Dimension Hole (Ancient Guardian) / Monster Subjugation.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- Defense decks of all content will be manageable via Preset.[/p][p]: Just like in World Guild Battle, Presets will be provided for defense decks in Arena, Arena Interserver Battle, and Siege Battle, allowing Monster and Rune/Artifact info to be saved separately.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- A building will be added where you can manage attack and defense deck Presets in one place.[/p][p]: As the number of saveable decks increases and unique settings for each deck become possible, a building will be added where you can view and set all attack and defense decks together.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- Siege Battle Rune separation will be removed.[/p][p]: With the application of deck Presets for Siege Battle, the existing Siege Battle Rune separation feature will be removed.[/p][p]: Attack and defense decks for Siege Battle will be automatically saved as Presets upon the update. However, if you wish to save the Rune separation status of other Monsters for Siege Battle, we urge you to use the \[Siege Battle > Manage Rune > Settings > Save Runes of All Monsters] feature before the update.[/p][p]
[/p][p]- Please find the number of Presets planned for each content below.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Detailed information will be provided again once development is complete, so please stay tuned.[/p][p][/p][p](The details shared in this Developer's Note are intended to provide a preview and help your understanding.[/p][p]Since development and testing are still ongoing, there may be some differences in the actual update. We ask for your kind understanding.)[/p][p][/p][p]We have prepared a special surprise gift for everyone waiting for the 12th Anniversary Update.[/p][p]Log in during the distribution period to claim your gift![/p][p]
[/p][p]★ 12th Anniversary Update Developer's Note Surprise Gift ★[/p][p]- Recipient: All servers[/p][p]- Special Gift: Mystical Scroll x10[/p][p]- Distribution Period: Apr. 8, 12:30 AM - Apr. 12, 7:59 AM PDT[/p][p]* The gift will be sent to your Inbox when you log in during the distribution period.
