New Companion, New Bosses, New Chaos

Hail, adventurers!
Grab a mug of mead and gather round the drakkar – the full release of Vilde smashes into Steam on June 12th.

Before we tell you more about the game itself – here’s everything we added since the demo launched three months ago.

[h2] What’s New Since the Demo[/h2]

  • 3 complete boss fights


    • Ent, the Forest Guardian – now reworked with smarter patterns.
    • Ymir, the Ice Colossus – boss on the Mountain Peak.
    • Forgeheart, the Power Core – multi-phase mechanical monstrosity.


  • Companion – Bjorn — a grumpy Viking who got turned into mead (long story). Now he haunts your bottle, gives unsolicited life advice, and complains in 12 languages.



  • 18 new enemy types – Trolls, Huldra, Fire Kobolds, Dragons, Golems and more. Every single one got fresh AI, custom VFX, and a full rebalance.

  • 12 new guns – from Sleipnir’s Shadow rocket-lance to Riftfrost beam cannon. Find ’em, upgrade ’em, break the DPS meter.




  • Outer-Temple & Mountain arenas – procedural layouts, verticality, lava parkour, chaos.



  • Loot System 2.0 – pick-one-of-three chests plus new arena objectives for bonus drops.



  • Talents 2.0 – multi-layered node trees, new visuals, full rebalance.



  • 112 new FX systems – muzzle flashes, spells, enemy abilites.



  • Achievements added


  • Relit levels – Misty Forest, Mountain Peak, and Fire Temple now 100 % clearer and prettier.

  • HUD & UX Refresh – clearer interface, better icons, indicating animations.

  • FPS boost – cleaned shaders, lighter textures, optimized collisions.

  • 12-language support – with a custom font (Huntress) for Cyrillic and Latin alphabets.

  • Full controller support

  • Economy overhaul – dismantle items, smarter upgrade costs, updated loot system.
