Private playtest starting October

The first playtest, we are calling the "Private Playtest" will be only people that we can communicate with directly via our Discord server in order to keep it as small and as controlled as possible.

This will consist of single players or teams of up to 4 players having access to a limited first section of our launch map "Alaska" a.k.a. "Twenty Below" (For full list of limitations please see below). Up to four players will have to try and escape the "Sheriff's Department" using one of the four possible escape routes, while being hunted by the Sanguivore.

Because we want to have a good communication with playtesters, all players wishing to join the private playtest will be required to join our official discord server and submit a request via the provided system.

HOW TO JOIN THE DISCORD
Visit the Discord link here and join the server. Once in the server and you have read all the rules, submit your application in the room called "Playtest request", enter your system details and any other information you wish to give. This will create a ticket and one of the team will get back to you with information and your key if we have accepted you into the private playtest.

Please note: If you do not wish to join our Discord server but still want to be part of the playtest, we will be holding a public playtest mid-october that will only require you to apply for access via the steam client.


If you are accepted in to the playtest, you may send us the Discord names of up to three additional friends who you would like to play with. We will send extra keys directly to them via Discord as long as they have also joined our Discord server.


The two playtests being held will have limited game mechanics in order for us to only test systems that are fundimental to the game and gameplay.

FEATURES NOT AVAILABLE IN THE PLAYTEST

• NO player skills will be available.
  
• NO player character customisations.
  
• NO player character selection, this will be automated in the playtest.
  
• NO section 2 "The Street" available during playtest 1.
  
• NO section 3 "Industrial" available during playtests.
  
• NO section 4 "The Coast" available during the playtest.
  
• NO custom games modes (difficulty, map or Sanguivore selection).
  

MAIN FEATURES AVAILABLE IN THE PLAYTEST

• Public "Open" Lobbies.
  
• Private "Closed" Lobbies.
  
• All 4 escape routes from section 1 "Sheriff's Department".
  
• A single sanguivore that will stalk and hunt players.
  
• No game time limits.
  
• All video and sound settings will be available.
  

Please remember: this is a playtest, although we have tested the current version of the game to smooth oout any bugs and issues, you may still come across them and we will only be able to fix them if you report them in the required way.



This is one thing we will try and determine during playtest sessions.

During interal testing we were able to get 60FPS on epic settings using the following setup.

Processor :: Intel i5 8500 3Ghz, 6 core, 6 processors
Video Card :: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
Operating System :: Windows 10
RAM :: 16 GB
SCREEN RES: 1920x1080
TSR (Screen Percentage) :: 50% (Default)

And 30FPS with the following machine setup:

Processor :: 
Video Card :: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980ti
Operating System :: Windows 10
RAM :: 8 GB
SCREEN RES: 1920x1080
TSR (Screen Percentage) :: 50% (Default)

Depending on the interest, reports and player base. the private playtest will last from 3 - 5 days, then opening up again for the second playtest for all other players.

IF I AM PART OF THE PRIVATE PLAY TEST WILL I BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE PUBLIC PLAYTEST WITHOUR APPLYING?
Yes! The private playtest steam key will automatically give you access to the public playtest as well.
