Devlog #86 - Path to Greatness

[p]Welcome Talented Gamers![/p][p][/p][p]It's time for another run down of what's been happening over here at TurtleFox Games in the last couple of weeks![/p][p][/p][p]Obviously, we've been hard at work on both the New Game and New DLC we announced in the last Devlog along with our Roadmap. You'll be hearing more about those in the near future, but first of all we want to talk about what's coming on the Free Update side of 1.3.[/p][p][/p][h3]More Mastery Levels[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]1.3 will see the addition of another 5 Mastery Levels, allowing you to climb to the heights of Mastery 35. Just like when we added Mastery 30, we want to add to unique difficulty increases that should spice up the game for our long time players.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We're using Mastery 31 to introduce some Endless Mode elements into the base game. You'll be seeing the Rare Curses like power up Elites and even make enemies deal more damage earlier in the run.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]At Mastery 32 - Glitched Elites will begin to appear, these slippery enemies will teleport when they are within a certain range from you. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]A request from one of our community members was to experiment with introducing elements from Waves into Standard Runs. Obviously we want to keep the two game modes distinct, but Mastery 35 (the big one!) will do exactly that![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We'll leave the other 2 for you to discover when the update drops! We're expecting this to be our most challenging difficulty increase yet in Standard Runs. Devlog #85 - Next Steps

[p]Hello Talented Gamers![/p][p][/p][p]Thank you to everyone who logged on for our 1.2 Update release, and an extra special thank you to all of our new Chinese players that are making the most of our Chinese (Simplified) localization! We've been so pleased to see the game find a new audience.[/p][p][/p][p]Now that it's been a couple of weeks since the update dropped, it's time again to talk about what's next for us at TurtleFox Games.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Update 1.3[/h3][p][/p][p]Our goal this year is to release one more update closer to the size of our 1.1 Update. This will include new features, new quality of life changes, new achievements and the bug fixing/balance improvements you've come to expect.[/p][p][/p][p]We'll be diving into what's coming with 1.3 in the next devlog, so stay tuned for more on that![/p][p][/p][h3]A New DLC[/h3][p][/p][p]We've started early design work on a second DLC that will release at the same time as the 1.3 update. Feedback was overall positive with Wave of Shadows so we'll be using that as a general guide for what to add.[/p][p][/p][p]You can expect a new Class, new Challenges, new Game Mode and a brand new Environment. Our plan is to begin with an announcement in early October and, as always, we'll be sharing updates on our design and development process and listening to player feedback along the way![/p][p][/p][h3]The Second Game[/h3][p][/p][p]If you've been following these devlogs for a while, you'll remember that just after the 1.0 release of Talented I teased that we'd begun work on a second title. That has continued and we're really happy with how it's turning out. [/p][p][/p][p]The current plan is to Announce our second game before the end of the year and to have a playable demo here on Steam early next year. Everyone here will be the first to know what it is and where you can get more information - so keep an eye on our news posts to stay up to speed with that.[/p][p][/p][p]Important Note: We are not planning on stopping Talented development to work on the second game, both will be happening side by side.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]That about covers it for our Roadmap from this point - we can't wait to hear what you think of everything that's planned, ever since we first released Talented on Steam this has been an amazing ride and we're thankful for the oppertunity to keep making things for you![/p][p][/p][p]Stay Talented[/p]

Hotfix 1.2.23

  • Corrected the Attack Damage increase displayed for Stimpack in the Chinese Localization
  • Cosmic Lance's return damage now correctly scales with Ability Power
  • Corrected the Explosive Trap and Chain Reaction Chinese Descriptions
  • Fixed the missing Chinese description for Ninja's Provision Talent

Hotfix 1.2.22

  • Fixed an issue causing the middle of the screen to glow extremely brightly
  • Fixed a missing Chinese Translation for Vortech Trap
