Devlog #81 - Hue Knew?

[p]Hello Talented Gamers![/p][p][/p][p]This week we'll be diving into what you can expect in the 1.2 update coming soon.[/p][p][/p][h3]Localisation Begins![/h3][p][/p][p]With over 23,000 words, it's no surprise that we've had a ton of requests for localisation for Talented. I'm sure you can understand that it's both a time consuming and expensive process - so we're rolling it out slowly so we can gauge continued interest and spot any missing translations/bugs as we go![/p][p][/p][p]1.2 will introduce our very first language (and by far our most requested)... Chinese (Simplified)[/p][p][/p][p]We understand how important being able to read our Talent, Ability and Enemy descriptions in your own language can be, especially when things get complicated - so we're looking to add additional language options as soon as we can.[/p][p][/p][h3]Chromoprisms[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p]Another common request is the ability to change the colour palette of Talented. Those of you that checked out the Wave of Shadows DLC may have seen that the Ninja's Singularity Ability did exactly that - and with that test complete we're happy rolling out Chromoprisms as a core feature![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Each Class will have an unlockable colour scheme for winning a run on Mastery 10. That means many of our veteran players will have instant access to 7 colour schemes![/p][p][/p][p]As with everything else we'll be looking to expand this feature as development continues![/p][p][/p][h3]And More...[/h3][p][/p][p]We'll be diving into these features in the coming devlogs but you can look forward to:[/p]
  • [p]Mythic Talents - A new tier of Talent that adds a new unique feature to the class when purchased.[/p]
  • [p]Factory Secret - With the positive response the secret of Nightshade Grove recieved we though it was only fair that we added one to our Build-A-Beast Factory too![/p]
  • [p]New Achievements - We're adding a few simple Achievements to support our new features in this update[/p]
  • [p]Bug Fixes/Balance/QoL - As always![/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hopefully that's a fair bit to look forward to! [/p][p][/p][p]As we mentioned in the previous devlog, this is a smaller update - so you can expect it a bit sooner than 1.1 and then we'll be talking about what's next for our next content addition.[/p][p][/p][p]Next week we'll be talking Mythic Talents! Devlog #80 - The Journey Continues

[p]Welcome Back Talented Gamers![/p][p][/p][p]First of all I want to give a massive thank you from everyone here at TurtleFox Games for the wonderful response to our Wave of Shadows DLC release![/p][p][/p][p]If anyone has missed out on the hype, you can access Ninja, Waves Mode and the Nightshade Grove environment right now![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Generally speaking we're extremely pleased with how launch went. We've had some very useful feedback on Ninja and Waves Mode - which have both been receiving balance changes and bug fixes as player feedback rolls in. As usual, we are extremely thankful for our passionate and understanding community for helping us get the game where it needs to be![/p][p][/p][p]We'll be continuing to monitor the Discord and the Steam Discussion Forums for any additional changes we can make to keep improving Wave of Shadows (and the base game) as people discover more and more of what it has to offer.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]What's Next...?[/h3][p]Our plan now is to take some time to see how the DLC is received before we explore more paid content for the game. Wave of Shadows was an extremely ambitious undertaking and we want to make sure we're delivering what you, as players, want from new Talented gameplay.[/p][p][/p][p]But that doesn't mean we'll be stopping development! We'll be using this time to develop a smaller, free update that will be coming in the near future.[/p][p][/p][p]You'll have to wait until the next Devlog to find out what's coming in that - but rest assured even the murkiest dungeon can be made to glimmer...[/p][p][/p][p]Stay Talented[/p]

Hotfix 1.1.81

  • Reduced the Maximum Health of the Threat: Skelebob Enemy Wave
  • Increased the weight of the Threat: Dr Bones Enemy Wave
  • Fixed an issue causing the Cyber Skin to not unlock after completing the Reflexes Challenge
  • Increased the Knockback Distance of Summoner and Ninja when hitting Barricades

  • Accessorize can now be unlocked when using more than 3 Relics
  • The Restorative Elite now has a compendium entry
  • Reduced the health of all enemies in the One For All Wave by 25%
