New fogs, new look! Blood Rush November update

[p]Hello Blood Rushers !
This update will be on the smaller side since I'm planning on working a bit on UpGun this month, if you are not familiar with UpGun, this is my last game before Blood Rush, you can check it out here :[/p][p]
[dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]The Blood Rush update will mainly focus on gameplay and visual improvements.
[/p][p][/p][h2]Aim assist:[/h2][p]I reworked the aim assist for a far better system.
This allowed me to apply it with ease to the Blood Rush's weapons but the spells as well and more !

This now means that the explosion spell is may more forgiving, sometimes the explosion appeared behind the enemy you were aiming at because the ray cast missed the enemy hitbox. NO MORE ![/p][p][/p][p]This is an exagerated example.[/p][p][/p][p]The new system draws a cone of vision for a better accuracy. This allows the aim assist to remain consistent along its length.[/p][p][/p][p]This applies to the saw launcher too, when the saw bounces in the room, the projectile will now deviate a bit to hit a nearby enemy if possible.[/p][p][/p][p]I also applied this new aim assist to sharpnels and parried projectiles.
[/p][p]Enabling the blessed mode will increase the radius of the aim assist.[/p][p]Playing with a controller unlocks a different aim assist, this is enabled by default, let me know if you are playing with a controller and if you want the option to turn this off.[/p][p][/p][h2]New fogs:[/h2][p]The different fog post process have been overhauled for a better and more intuitive system.
[/p][carousel][/carousel][p](The new fog is animated)[/p][p][/p][p]This new fog also allows for smoother transitions between areas. No more blinking lights when changing circle or room.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Balance:[/h2]
  • [p]Increase the lightning rods' hitbox size.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the shrapnels distribution method.[/p]
  • [p]The torch now emits 30% more light.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Other changes:[/h2]
  • [p]Removed the suicide animation when giving up.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new give up animation.[/p]
    • [p]This is because the game is not visible for many player on their steam account due to this.[/p]
  • [p]Added a high quality material switch in the graphic settings.[/p]
    • [p]This allow players to scrape a bit more performance out of the game if necessary.[/p]
  • [p]Added "bDebugSpawnable" in the character declaration for modders.[/p]
  • [p]Added an effect when the first relic appears when starting a run.[/p]
  • [p]Added a small camera shake when interacting with a relic.[/p]
  • [p]Unfocusing the game automatically pauses it.[/p]
  • [p]Added Diogenes' voice! (Thx papy!)[/p]
  • [p]Some friendships can be broken now.[/p]
  • [p]When you have too many flow goals equipped, some of them will be rendered in red.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed the saw launcher animation sometimes not being synced properly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the rosary not granting all the benefits on some occasions.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed somme issues with interactions being bugged from behind.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some issues with mobs spawning outside of an area or not spawning at all.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed damage applied to the player when hitting a knockbacked mob.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the game losing focus when moving the mouse to fast in fullscreen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed flow goals appearing when hiding the hud.[/p]
  • [p]Improved some collisions.[/p]
