Collections and Rewards
What is included in each Collection?
Each Collection features four pages, with one unique Skin per page. Free players can only access the first page, while Premium players unlock additional pages by spending Coins progressively. Note that contents will vary in each Collection.
What can free players earn?
Free players can earn all items on the first page of each Collection, including a variation of high-value rewards like Diamonds, Skins, and cosmetics. Premium players gain access to additional pages with more rewards.
Can I preview the rewards before deciding to participate?
Yes, players can preview all rewards, free and premium, in each Collection before spending Coins or upgrading to Premium.
Can I choose the rewards I unlock within a Collection?
Yes! Players can select rewards in any order within each page, offering complete control to buy what you like.
Can I skip a Collection and come back to it later?
You can skip a Collection, earn Coins, and return to it later to unlock free rewards or upgrade that Collection to Premium at any time.
Do I need to complete one Collection before starting another?
No, you don’t need to complete one Collection before starting another. You can progress any of the active Collections in the Wandering Market at your own pace.

Progression and XP
How do I earn XP and Coins to spend in the Wandering Market?
You earn XP by playing matches and completing daily quests. XP progresses you along the reward track, unlocking Coins at each level. Coins are then used to purchase items within each Collection.
Do free players earn XP at the same rate as Premium players?
Yes! XP progression is identical for both free and Premium players.
Do I need to play every day to keep up?
No! The system is designed to accommodate different playstyles, allowing players to progress at their own pace without daily pressure.

Coins and Spending
Can I spend Coins across different Collections?
Yes! Coins are universal and can be used in any Collection available – past, present, or future.
What happens if I hit the Coin cap?
If you reach the Coin cap, you’ll stop earning additional Market XP, even if you complete the daily quests or play games. However, as soon as you spend Coins and drop below the cap, you’ll be able to start earning Market XP again. The first page of each Collection provides rewards for free players to spend their coins or you can upgrade to the Premium Pass to continue spending your Coins on more pages!
Why is there a limit on how many Coins I can hold?
The Coin cap ensures balanced progression, prevents excessive hoarding, and maintains fairness among all levels of players.

Collection Availability
How long will a Collection be available?
Currently, there’s no set end date for Collections in the Wandering Market. We’ll periodically review this to address any potential UI challenges this might create. If changes are needed, we’ll ensure players receive clear communication and plenty of advance notice.

SMITE 2 Goes Free-to-Play With Big Changes and New Gods

I have to give a lot of credit to SMITE 2 and by extension the original SMITE for actually interesting me in the MOBA genre. I never really got into the scene due in large part to an exchange I had with a friend when League of Legends was exploding in popularity. He said to me that I should play it, but just to be ready to be yelled at constantly for not being good. I decided not to play it.

But I actually quite enjoyed SMITE the handful of times I dipped into it. Its tactical style of gameplay combined with a more action-focused camera made it feel a lot smoother and more approachable to get into, and I found myself having a lot more fun than the few times I actually did try to play League of Legends. CGM was fortunate to sit down with Hi-Rez Studios to get some pretty big news about SMITE 2, and it was really impressive to see.

We got to speak with Design Director AJ Walker and Advanced Game Designer Daniel Cooper, who had some big announcements for SMITE 2. Most... Read more
