Pale Coins Release

[p][/p][p]Hey there,[/p][p]it's been five long years for this moment to happen. Pale Coins is finally here![/p][p]Thank you all so much for being part of this journey, and to you who still want to enjoy the game. Without your support, feedback and help, this would not have been possible,[/p][p]Instead of listing all the news, there are way too many, let's take a look at some of the frequently asked questions.[/p][p][/p][p]Can I continue with my demo character?[/p][p]Yes, and no. You may continue with your demo character, but keep in mind, that some quest triggers behave differently. My suggestion: stash the items you want to keep and start a new game.[/p][p][/p][p]Where can I stash my items?[/p][p]You can deposit your items in the Eternal Realm. Follow the main quest for a while and you'll ultimately find the chests.[/p][p][/p][p]Is there a level cap like in the demo?[/p][p]In the final release, the level cap is raised drastically. It's currently set around level 200.[/p][p][/p][p]What is the estimated game length?[/p][p]Somewhere around 8h - 10h per playthrough, depending on your play style and the build you end up with.[/p][p][/p][p]What game modes are there?[/p][p]The standard game mode, which is followed by a new game plus for a more difficult challenge. Also, you have the option to start a hardcore run. If all of that is too easy, you have the option to start a custom challenge mode, where you'll be able to pick from a bunch of different curses to get a real challenge.[/p][p]If you're interested in something completely different, give the Bingo mode or the Endless Tower mode a try.[/p][p][/p][p]In case you have questions or feedback, feel free to let me know! :)[/p][p]Also, please consider joining Discord to get any news as soon as possible.[/p]

Demo 1.5.0 Update

[p][/p][p]Hey there,[/p][p]let's take a short break from whatever you are doing and give the new Demo Version 1.5.0 a try![/p][p]There have been many interesting additions and changes since the last demo update, so it was time to share the newest version with you.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Here is what's new in this update:[/p][p][/p]
Endless Tower Game Mode
[p]The latest demo update introduces a new game mode - the Endless Tower.[/p][p]Battle through waves of monsters on each of the endless levels. Collect gold and gear to stay ahead and try to survive against the increasingly strong enemies. [/p][p][/p]
UI Overhaul
[p]The user interface visuals have been refined across the board to give everything a more polished and cohesive look.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Custom Keybindings
[p]Keybindings are now fully customizable in the game settings. If you ever forget which key does what, this also serves as a handy cheat sheet. [/p][p][/p]
Grappling Hook
[p]A new traversal option has been introduced for non-magic users - the grappling hook.[/p][p]It can be purchased from merchants or looted from enemies, and equipped to any weapon with at least one open socket. [/p][p][/p]
Controller Support
[p]Controller Support has been around for a while, but it was missing that final layer of polish. With this update, gamepad detection has been enhanced - you can always change your preferred input method in the settings - and new features introduced to deliver a smoother experience. Demo 1.4.2 Update

A new demo version 1.4.2 has been released. Let's have a look at the improvements and bugfixes:
  • fixed issue where the game did not start for some players
  • lockpicking - it is now shown if you have enough DEX to open a chest
  • fixed issue where some players got stuck at the randomly placed objects of the mountain path
  • changed the scaling of the blood weapons to scale with VIT
  • changed the balancing of some of the blood dungeon enemies
  • crystal bulwark boss is now slightly more challenging
  • fixed the blood splatter of the orc skeletons
  • changed the placement of the goblin cave entrance
  • outlaw mine entrance is now more obvious


Unfortunately, as the Steam Next Fest is over, the maximum level cap achievable in the demo is decreased once again to level 10. But don't worry, the level cap in the final release will we way higher.
