A New Message from the Developer

Hello everyone!

It's been quite some time since I released the first demo back in August 2023, and along the way, things happened that completely changed my life. After two years of continuous development, I'm thrilled to finally be close to the release (featuring the first two levels as a thrilling starting point). This is just the beginning, and you haven’t seen even half of what we have planned for this year.

This project began in June 2022 as a way to escape from the challenges I was facing at the time. I was working 12-hour days, every day, in a full-time job, and yet I spent my spare moments designing the first maps in Unreal Engine 5.

Honestly, I thought this game wouldn’t go anywhere. Think about it: a game where you just walk around and almost nothing happens? How could something like that possibly go viral? It became clear that there was untapped potential in liminal space games, and Dreamcore fit perfectly into that niche. But when I released the first demo, my life took a 180-degree turn, and I still can't fully process it.

I won't bore you with personal details, although many of those who have been on the Discord server for a while know what I mean. We’re genuinely very nervous about everything that could happen! The fear of not meeting expectations is a constant pressure I deal with every day. But isn’t that also part of the fun of making games?

Now, let's talk about the release!

Dreamcore will launch on January 23rd with two fully playable levels: Dreampools and Eternal Suburbia. But that's just the beginning! We have three more levels planned, which will be released throughout 2025 and 2026. By purchasing the game at launch, you'll secure access to all five levels as they are released—at the current price of $9 USD in most regions.

Please note that the price will increase with each new level release. This means that getting in early not only supports the game but also gives you the best value as the experience grows. While we aren't disclosing future pricing details just yet, we wanted to make sure you're aware that the price will rise as new content is added.

Thank you so much for being part of this journey. We can't wait for you to explore Dreamcore and experience what's to come.

See you on January 23rd! 😄

Message from the developer

Hi guys! I want to share something personal.

When liminal spaces started gaining popularity back in 2020, there was one level that always stood out to me: Level 94 (Eternal Suburbia). There’s just something about its unique atmosphere—that feeling of “I’m not sure if I want to stay here or run away”—that made it one of the most iconic levels in the liminal spaces genre. So, when the time came for me to design it, I was determined to do it justice.

Designing this map was no easy task. I wanted exploring this level to feel just as immersive and genuine as Dreampools, while still giving it its own identity and maintaining the coherence that made the first map so unique.

But I believe I’ve created something that will exceed all expectations. I’m convinced this map is the most faithful representation of the Dreamcore aesthetic. I want this project to become a reference point for the genre—something that leaves a lasting impression and makes people say, “Okay, this is completely different from anything I’ve seen before!”
I’ve poured my heart into every corner, every texture, and every interaction, hoping you’ll feel the same way I do when you explore it. I’m confident that I’ve crafted something truly special, something capable of breaking boundaries in this genre.
Very soon, you’ll be able to explore it for yourself, and I can’t wait to see your reactions. I’m sure what I’ve created will captivate you just as much as it has captivated me while making it.
