Director's Message: "Capturing and executing enemies" & the future of the demo

Hello everyone,
This is the development team of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lilly.

As development enters its final stages, the feedback and encouragement we continue to receive through reviews and the Community Hub have been an incredible source of motivation for the entire team. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you.

We also received a tremendous response to our previous update regarding "Trust Levels," and the development team is once again deeply grateful for the high level of interest in this title. Thank you so much.

Today we would like to give you a sneak peek of another element from the game to you.
A little introduction to "Scarlet's decision"

*Please note that the details shared below are based on the current build of the full version and are subject to change as development progresses.
■ Capturing and Executing Enemies
Named characters such as Uisce, who was in the demo, can be captured when using Lily’s skill On the Stage while “Capture Stream” is done on the Stream Airship.

“Capture Streaming” will be shown when On the Stage is active.

When you successfully capture them, you can add them as an ally but some enemies need to meet special conditions to capture.
(You can check the conditions for adding an ally from the “UNIT” menu.)

On the other hand, you also have the option to destroy your enemy.
When you choose this, the enemy will not become an ally and will be executed.
“Scarlet’s skills or status can be enhanced” when you choose to execute.

Depending on the path you choose, there may be different outcomes you will encounter.
Will Scarlet & Lily journey together, alone?
Or will they go forth with new allies…
We hope you enjoy the choices that you make.

(When you execute, you may see a different outcome. Feast your eye on Scarlet's decision!)
■ Regarding the Future of the Demo
At this time, we are fully focused on completing the full version of the game and we will be temporarily pausing updates to the demo.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Additionally, several major changes have been made with the demo, and there are significant differences from the full game.
For this reason, we plan to temporarily suspend distribution of the demo in the near future, with the intent of re-releasing it at a later date with updated content that reflects the full version.
As a substitute during this period, we are currently preparing a gameplay video covering the early stages of the game, which we hope you will enjoy.

We apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding and patience.

We hope you enjoy The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily for the coming days.

Development Team

Director Message: Regarding the relationships between characters

Hello everyone,

A huge thank you to everyone who played during the Steam Next Fest!

We also truly appreciate all the feedback and reactions to our previous Director's Message. The entire development team is truly grateful for your support.

Today, we’d like to briefly touch on the "Relationship system between characters," which has been a frequent topic in the Community Hub.

Please note that this feature is still in development for the full release, and specifications may change in the future.

Thank you for your continued support!
■ Earning Trust
First off, we have decided to rename "Relationship" to "Trust" which should better convey the intent of the system.

Some characters can form a trusted relationship with specific allies.
You can check which characters you can build trust with in the Info Menu.
Trust levels increases when "characters fight together and win battles."

(The trust progression can be checked on the results screen)

When the trust level between characters reaches a certain point, slice of life stories called "Unite Episodes" will be unlocked.
Each character has unique episodes, ranging from:

- Stories that deepen friendships
- Stories where their beliefs clash
Through these interactions, small but meaningful stories unfold.
(Sorry, no ecchi content in the game!)

Trust-building is not limited to female or male relationships, but please note that not all the stories will be romantic.

These episodes are divided into multiple stages.
As you progress through these episodes, you will unlock "Unison Skills" that can be used in combat.

Unison Skills are powerful abilities unleashed through the cooperation of specific character pairs.
Strengthen your characters’ bonds and unleash their full potential!

I hope this clears things up a little!
Thank you again and we hope you look forward to the game!
