PATCH NOTES #20

Dear Zookeepers,

Here's what we've done today! Patch Notes 20 – presenting the list of fixes:

- Fixed an issue where blood collection in certain areas of the enclosure could cause you to get stuck in objects. With the new blood collection system, no more instances of this issue have been found.
- Resolved a blocker where, during a boss fight, bosses could attack you while drawing blood, causing a loss of your control after the boss’s attack. This is now fixed with the new blood collection system.
- Blood collection from resting elephants now functions correctly with the updated system.
- Fixed a blocker where the penguin boss's flight animation would interrupt and block your controls.
- Corrected the strange behavior of the mutant gorilla, where it would flee after being shot instead of attacking you.
- Fixed a bug where, after interacting with the lab door scanner using CJ’s hand, Paul’s hands would disappear.

New Feature: We've added physical toys to animal enclosures as an experimental feature. How do you feel about these new sandbox elements that let you interact with the game world in new ways?

Thank you for playing and providing the feedback!

UPDATE #1 TAKING BLOOD + PATCH NOTES #19

Dear Zookeepers,

One of the most challenging issues in the game was the animal blood collection system, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve completely overhauled it. We hope that from now on, taking blood from animals will be much smoother for you.

Here’s what’s new in Update #1:
- You can now collect blood from an animal from multiple angles, as long as the side is not obstructed by an obstacle.
- A universal blood collection animation is created for all animals.
- After interacting with the animal using a syringe, the player will now wait for the animal to take the correct position for blood collection.
- Blood can now be collected in any situation unless something specifically prevents it, such as the animal's fear, aggression, or a monster's attack.
In some cases, tranquilizing animals like gorillas was necessary to collect blood. Now, that issue has been resolved.

And here’s what’s new in Patch #19:
- Fixed an issue where opened ampoule boxes appeared closed after loading.
- Fixed gorilla AI bugs during player chases.
- Fixed non-working quick reload menu for darts in the corner of the screen when reloading through the PDA without holding the vet gun.
- Fixed the appearance of scars when animals were killed with a rifle.
- Added hippo idle activity sounds.
- And many minor visual fixes have been addressed.

Starting today, in addition to patches, we will begin releasing game updates that will enhance the player experience and make the game more fun.
Of course, we read and analyze all the feedback we receive from you. Thank you for helping us improve the game and for your continued support.

With love,
Clapperheads team
