PATCH NOTE #8

Dear Zookeepers,

We’re back with another update! Thank you for all the messages and feedback you are providing. We continue refining the game and enhancing your experience. Here’s what’s new in this patch:

Visuals:
- Fixed animal LODs for better rendering quality.
- Corrected Sara’s piercing display.
- Improved Sara’s LODs across multiple settings.
- Added a Render Distance setting to fine-tune visual performance.
- Added a notification for enclosure failures. It functions similarly to the "Congratulations" message but displays upon failure.
- Updated monster health bar visuals for clearer health status indication.

Localization:
- Corrected text localization for animal blood sample descriptions.

Sound:
- Fixed sound issues with Paul’s vomiting scenes.
- Corrected parasite sounds in the parasite storage area.

Dear Zookeepers,

Sunday patch is here! We continue working to improve your gaming experience.

Optimization and Performance:
- Memory usage has been reduced.
- GPU optimization has been carried out in the giraffe enclosure.
- CPU optimization has been carried out in the enclosures.

Bug Fixes:
- The "Clean the biowaste filter" task now appears on time.
- Fixed a bug where, on low settings, Sara's body [LOD] stretched like a mesh when lying on the couch and when being taken off the hook.
- Lily is now visible from Doc’s office window after the tutorial.
- Many minor visual bugs have been fixed.

We’re excited to share Patch #6 with you! This time, our focus has been on enhancing the cutscene experience for a more immersive and polished gameplay. 🎬✨

[h2]🎥Cutscene Fixes & Improvements:[/h2]

  • Lip Sync Adjustments: Cutscenes now have better lip synchronization, making character dialogues feel more natural and lifelike.

  • Subtitle Synchronization: Subtitles are now perfectly in sync with audio, ensuring you don’t miss any part of the story.

  • Subtitle Display Issues: We’ve fixed glitches that caused subtitles to appear incorrectly or not at all.

  • Music & Audio: Added background music to enrich key scenes and enhance the atmosphere.

  • Visual Bug Fixes: Addressed multiple visual bugs, making each scene look smooth and polished.

PATCH NOTE #5

Dear Zookeepers,

Here we are again, and we won’t get tired of saying it!
Here’s the 5th patch notes:

Game Mechanics:
- You can now open the PDA while petting animals.
- The "collect samples" task now completes when taking the temperature during feeding [NG+].
- Removed the elephant's armor overlay during sleep when hit by a tranquilizer dart.
- Fixed a control freeze during blood collection.
- Fixed a bug where submitting collected blood in the Hub wasn't counted in the diagnostics terminal.
- Fixed a bug where an infected penguin wouldn't eat and would remain standing in place.
- Changed the reaction of mutated animals to being hit by a dart.
- Tranquilizer darts now accumulate sleep time if the monster is hit several times before falling asleep.
- Fixed the bug where the penguin monster wouldn't fall asleep for a long time after being hit with a tranquilizer dart.
- Fixed blood collection task completion when the player is in the Hub.
- Fixed the first sample collection task completion in the last enclosure for the player.
- The "NewGame+" button has been returned to the main menu, replacing "Continue+." There's also a "NewGame" button for a full reset of progress (the game starts from the tutorial).
- Fixed infected animal recipes. Preparation was starting in the wrong order.

UI:
- Tuned the gadget switcher visuals.
- Fixed the correctness of the segmented slicing bar when cutting food for mutated animals.
- Updated the UI to show monster health and cure immediately after being hit.

Dear Zookeepers,


Here we are again with a new patch of fixes! We're listening to all of you, and thank you again for providing your feedback.
! Contains spoilers !


Game Mechanics:
- Fixed the flashlight interaction on the cart, where it couldn’t be picked up after loading in certain cases.
- Fixed the blood symptom status in the terminal, vet station, and animal widget during blood collection in the BloodCollector (While being in the HUB)
- Fixed a bug where the parasite spawned underground after killing the mutated animal.
- Fixed a bug where the zebra, while in a calm state, played the running animation when encountering the player.
- Fixed a bug where there were no interactions with gadgets on the cart until the cart on the platform was interacted with (NG+).

Game Flow: - Fixed a bug where Paul didn’t vomit in the сorridor after completing the giraffe enclosure.
- Fixed a bug where the task "feed the infected animal with meat" wasn’t completed.
- Fixed a bug where the task to feed the infected animal didn’t trigger.
- Fixed a bug where infected hands appeared healthy.
- Fixed a bug where Linda would call again in the last enclosure (4), causing Sarah to greet the player in the chair during the return to the hub (NG+).
- Fixed issues in one of the cutscenes.
- Made the credits roll faster, and now they can be skipped.

Optimization and Performance:
- Significant work has been done on CPU optimization (check if your FPS has improved!).
- Conducted a major review to address crashes—if you’re still experiencing them, please reach out and let us know! Your reports help us pinpoint and resolve these issues faster.

Interface:
- Fixed incorrect scaling of columns on the сcutting table when the deviation percentage warning appears.
- Improved visibility of control hints.
- Fixed scaling of frames in control hints when there is long text (relevant for the Japanese language).
- Fixed visual issues with control hints in the gadget switcher and dart switcher.
