After many updates, many adventures and events, we have finally reached the end of 2024. This was an amazing year, which marked the early access release of Roboom, and the game has developed a long way thanks to all of your feedback, thanks to Roboom's wonderful community.

At the beginning of the year, Robocons had neither a face nor any arms, but the war between Visicons and Oblicons was still in full motion.

Furthermore, the Next Fest this month was truly one of the most important and exciting moments in Roboom's history. Our thanks go once again to countless many players who have dived into the Robocon Universe!

On May 19, Roboom finally released into Early Access. With this, a new phase in Roboom's journey began.

This is a question that we should all think about. Although the answer may seem close to a "no" in the Human Universe, the answer is ａｂｓｏｌｕｔｅｌｙ 𝔂𝓮𝓼 within the Robocon Universe.
[h2]August: Your Own Baby Drones[/h2]
Before this update, your little fellows, Baby Drones, were just random baby Visicons who came to help you. With this update, they have become much more: From 5 different Visicon classes, now you can adopt them, name them, raise them as you like!

[h3]Kaizen: Continuous Improvement[/h3]
Before the release of co-op,
The Kaizen Update was launched to generally improve many aspects of the game, from new enemies to new weapons. Continuous improvement is indeed the very spirit of Roboom, which shall continue in 2025 and beyond.

[h2]October: Co-op[/h2]
Roboom unites people
This might be the biggest update this year. Because you can now play Roboom with anyone from all over the world or locally! If you haven't yet, co-op is truly one of the most fun and meaningful ways to experience Roboom.

Squads were the logical continuation of having co-op scores: Now you can either join an existing squad or create your own, so that your co-op scores get saved and ranked!

The First Squad Contest during the Bullet Heaven Fest was amazing, many new players joined Roboom and we saw the creation of first squads:

What's next for 2025?
Thanks to Roboom's wonderful community, we will march forwards on this journey towards building a game that is both exciting and meaningful. There are many new updates coming, improving and iterating upon already existing features (like the powerups, balance, HUB), bringing the remaining planned bosses and story.
