Dan and the others are all busy listening to a 'Silksong' or something of the sort, so I'm here to bring you the news! Patch 0.0.8: Bloom and some good news

[p]Hey, everyone! This small patch features some visual upgrades for the game, adding bloom and glow to attacks![/p][p]Also, stay tuned for updates next month! As September approaches, we're going full steam ahead for our next Major Update, featuring a new weapon, new characters and the Constellation System![/p][p][/p][h3]Game Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]A new Bloom option under Graphics, controlling the amount of glow coming from attacks and white creatures;[/p]

Patch 0.0.7: Revamped Tutorial and Hub Improvements

[p]Hey, everyone! This patch mostly improves the tutorialization and readability of some key mechanics. Also, Execution has been tweaked to allow for more Executions against bigger enemies![/p][p][/p][h3]Game Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Tutorial revamped to be shorter and more dynamic;[/p]
  • [p]The statues at the Arena Hub now display a list of every Reward Type;[/p]
  • [p]The Arena Hub UI now displays the Challenge type of challenge encounters;[/p]
  • [p]Vastly improved the visual feedback of the Envy Sin's Bloodsteal effect;[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted enemy spawn positions in Hallowed Circle and Wicked Clearing, in order to avoid enemies getting stuck at the arena limit;[/p]

Patch 0.0.6: The Crimson Powder Patch

[p]Hey, everyone! As promised, the Tactician and Ardent Rage (now named Crimson Rage) Talents have been reworked! We've also improved the readability of enemy attacks, and made more balance changes![/p][p]For the next patch, we plan on continuing to improve the game's conveyance of mechanics. We're also looking into improving the String's targetting, particularly when used with the Smokeshot, though that might take a while.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Features[/h3]
  • [p]New option to Disable UI around Player added to the Graphics Tab;[/p]
  • [p]New option to Always Show Version Number during gameplay added to the Game Tab;[/p]

  • [p]The Doll's attack now displays a preview of her attack area, and its hit detection has been improved;[/p]
  • [p]Attacking the Vampire's Sacrifice target deals damage to the Vampire and makes the Sacrifice bolt flash;[/p]
  • [p]The attack preview for the Specter, the Tombfeller and the Beast boss are more accurate;[/p]
  • [p]The Smokeshot's targetting has been tweaked - it should be better now, but we hope to keep improving it on upcoming patches;[/p]

  • [p]Tactician Rework - After performing a Ranged Art, regular shots don't cost Bullets for 2s;[/p]
  • [p]Crimson Rage Rework - At 40% Blood or less, deal double melee damage for 3s after every kill;[/p]
  • [p]Execution buff - Self-damage on miss has been reduced (10 to 5);[/p]

Patch 0.0.5: Lots of balance changes and reduced level scaling

[p]Hey, everyone! We're getting a bit experimental with this one. Lots of balance changes, including the Ardor System, Talents such as Silkcloak and Ghostrunner, and Cassius' Sacrifice![/p][p]For the next patch, we have big reworks planned for the Tactician and Ardent Rage Talents (they're a bit boring at the moment) and some more improvements for Cassius' fight. We're also planning on reworking the Tutorial to become more dynamic, but that's probably coming in a patch later down the line.[/p][p][/p][h3]Game Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]New Death Tips explaining how the Execution and the Ardor System works;[/p]

  • [p]Silkcloak nerf - At Ardor S, you lose a bit of Ardor instead of taking damage;[/p]
  • [p]Ghostrunner buff - After 10s of not taking damage, you deal 5 nonlethal damage on contact;[/p]
  • [p]Deflect buff - Deflected projectiles now pierce enemies (and make a satisfying sound when hitting them, too!);[/p]
  • [p]Cassius nerf - Sacrifice now only heals 25% of his Maximum Blood;[/p]
  • [p]Precise Shot and Smokeshot buff - both only cost 1 Bullet now;[/p]
  • [p]Fiery Dragon nerf - you now shoot 4 projectiles (was 5);[/p]

  • [p]Controller device detection (PS or XBOX) improved;[/p]
  • [p]Pickups not working properly during Slow Motion;[/p]
