Going Full Release and Price Change

Hello fellow Khans,
I'm Omer from Oba Games, and as usual, we want to keep you in the loop with what’s happening on our side.

  • While we haven't set an exact release date yet, we’re very close! We’re in the final stages, making the last adjustments to the game.
  • Right now, HWM feels more chaotic yet strategic—exactly what we envisioned. When we first started, our goal was to create something like what football coaches do: set the tactics and hope the players execute them well. With our latest updates, we’re getting close to that idea.
  • We’ve added new rules to the battles, making them feel more tactical and less about micro-managing units. Here’s a sneak peek at the latest work-in-progress for how battles will look.

  • Over time, HWM has evolved significantly in both gameplay and visuals. We’ve created something unique that blends war and sports management into one experience. With the final update, we believe we’ve added the last piece to complete the game.
  • That said, we won’t stop improving it! With the full release, we’ve decided to price the game at $7.99. This is also our way of thanking all our early backers. Without your support, we wouldn’t have come this far!

Battle Design Change

Hello respected Khans, I am the developer of the game Cevozby.

We are getting closer to the big update. In this process, we decided to make some changes to the game.

New Map and New Movement System:



The picture above is now our new field where the matches will be held. Our armies will now fight here.

While doing this, we have made changes to the battle design.
-Spear and archer units will only be able to travel on roads and will not be able to use places other than roads.
-Cavalry will be able to move as they wish on the entire map except for mountains.
-Cavalry will be able to hide when they enter the forest.
-Although this is not definite, we may add hills where archers can climb to some critical points.

Why this system:
In the previous system, since all armies could go wherever they wanted, control was more difficult and therefore some tactics were more difficult to implement. For example, it was very difficult to go around a unit with cavalry or we could not put archers somewhere and say defend it because every unit could be everywhere.

At the same time, since this is done in a sports style, we thought that adding certain rules would be easier both in terms of development process and gameplay.

Apart from these, we aim to bring attack types.
Spearmen -> Normal attack, surrounded, leapfrog
Archers -> Marching fire, surrounded, shoot and scout
Cavalry -> Normal attack, flank, shoot and scout, surrounded

We tried to diversify the attacks in this way. We think that with the attack multiplier already in our game (bonus for attacks from the flanks and from behind), such attacks will change the course of the game.

Devlog - War Mechanics

Hello respected Hans, I am the developer of the game, Cevozby Han.

We have been developing the game for a while to offer you a better war experience and decided to take the wars to 3D. I will give you the latest status:

Currently done:
Visual: Soldier models and animations have been added to represent your army. Now you will be able to see your armies more beautifully while they are fighting!
Map: We have now started adding map effects to the game, we are adding some external factors such as forests, mountains, rivers to the game. (Note: Some things may change in the map design depending on the course of the game.)
Formation: Your soldiers are ready to attack enemy troops with a formation!

Difficulties I encountered:
Dear Hanlar, I am trying to provide you with a much better game, but unfortunately these tasks are not easy and since I am the only developer, I sometimes have difficulties.
I really had a hard time with the formation of the soldiers, their advancement according to this formation, their attack when they see the enemy, etc. We were planning to quickly take the game to 3D, but unfortunately things didn't go as we wanted (I've been seeing bugs lately ːsteamsadː)
Apart from that, we are aware that you want to create better strategies and I am working to meet this. However, giving each soldier their own AI, giving orders etc. things start to get complicated after a while. That's why we are trying to create moves that are as simple as possible but more complex as they are used.

I continue to work for you (my mental health is not good these days, I think I'm going crazy ːsteamboredː) but we love our game and our players. I can't wait to give you a better experience.
