AND THE HORDE HAS RISEN… but that’s NOT the END!

[p][/p][h2]Hello, Horde![/h2][p][/p][p]We looked at the calendar this morning, shocked that it’s already TWO WEEKS since our latest major update, HORDE REBORN. Things are moving fast, and it’s hard to get bored - all thanks to you![/p][p][/p][p]The holidays are just around the corner, and in a matter of days, the whole Polished Games team will take a short break. That rest will be needed, because we already have some crazy ideas for 2026! What exactly are they? Well… we can share at least some of them.[/p][p][/p][h3]FURTHER META-PROGRESSION IMPROVEMENTS[/h3][p]We’ve gathered a plethora of great feedback from you about the meta-progression in Be My Horde, and it’s given us many ideas on how to rework it. In the upcoming major updates, expect some heavy changes here. Not only new upgrades you can unlock between crusades, but also an overhaul of the entire system. More details soon![/p][p][/p][h3]MINIONS MOVEMENT[/h3][p]We know that minions can sometimes be clumsy in Be My Horde, and their behavior can lead to some annoying moments. That’s why we aim to focus on this aspect in the next big update. We will rework the way they move and improve their physics. This will not only fix issues like “pushing” enemies instead of surrounding them, but also introduce optimizations that will improve the game’s performance.[/p][p][/p][h3]PERKS, PERKS, PERKS[/h3][p]The latest changes have finally made perks much more impactful, but we see that the system still needs some improvements, along with many more cool perks for you to use against your foes! So yes, we’ll be working on that too, to give you not only powerful abilities to choose from, but a much wider variety of them as well.[/p][p][/p][h3]STORY OVERHAULED[/h3][p]We have some neat ideas for reworking the Be My Horde story to make it more complex and intriguing, as well as presenting it in a way that will please those who enjoy spending time with Moriana, while also satisfying those who prefer to focus on gameplay over conversation. We look forward to sharing more about this soon![/p][p][/p][h3]BALANCE[/h3][p]And of course… further balance tweaks. This is something we’ll be spending a lot of time on as well.[/p][p][/p][p]Our ultimate goal is to create the best possible 1.0 version of Be My Horde. That’s why the major updates we’re delivering are primarily focused on improving gameplay. That said, we also want to give you some extra content - just keep in mind that we’re saving some of the big guns for the full launch.[/p][p][/p][p]Before we wrap up this announcement, we’d like to thank all of you for your ongoing support. When we look back at Be My Horde at its Early Access launch in June last year and compare it to the current version, the progress is enormous. The game is much, much better now, and none of it would be possible without your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Is Be My Horde perfect now? Is it… polished? Absolutely not! There’s still a lot of work to be done. We read your comments, we digest your reviews (both positive and negative), and one day we’ll get there. [h2]BALANCE[/h2][p]💀 Increased enemy HP by 10% and enemy damage by 15% on Kingdom Level 2.[/p][p]💀 Reduced unit density and decreased the number of high-tier enemies on Kingdom Levels 2–5 in the first minutes of a run.[/p][p]💀 Devils’ HP significantly increased on Hell Levels 2–5 to match King difficulty values.[/p][p]💀 Reduced amount of lava across all difficulties.[/p][p]💀 Cavalry damage reduced by 15% and HP by 10%.
