Progress Report #194 - January 2026

We’re kicking off by pushing straight back into development, and there’s already plenty moving behind the scenes:[/p][p]---🎨----[/p][p]Longclaw Pilot Renders are now complete potraying Caly piloting the Longclaw and racking up those much-needed pilot miles. What's that? Does Caly have a license to fly in space, you ask? Pfft, let's not worry about the pesky little details. [/p][p]Simultaneously, work on the Orc Spaceship Render has wrapped up as well. Wonder what surprises this mysterious and intimidating vessel, looming ominously among the stars, has in store for our intrepid heroine?[/p][p]Of-course she has to get there first so- a new Space Map Update has been implemented with a fresh destination option, expanding its scale and your exploration options.[/p][p]Finally, additional detailing continues on the Orc Dungeon, along with new battler sprites and battle cut-ins. Caly will definitely have her hands full…[/p][p]----✍️----[/p][p]Orc Dungeon's Dialogue Polish remains in full swing- key being the fine-tuning of content and small dialogue additions to ensure the new story flows smoothly and feels cohesive from start to finish.[/p][p]We’ve also been digging away at Next Planet's Lore and Mysteries, fleshing out the interesting details that Caly would come across when her boots finally hit the ground there. What appears to be an abandoned facility hides a far more insidious past and purpose.[/p][p]----🖥️----[/p][p]A new Multi-Path Event has been implemented that'll allow players to approach and resolve objectives in multiple ways. Wanna get violent? Go for it. Wanna get diplomatic? Get that silver tongue wagging. Wanna stealth? Well.. try not to knock over any bottles.[/p][p]Speaking of stealth, a sneaking segment has been added in a quest where players must carefully navigate a goblin camp aboard the ship. Waking the green menace is strongly discouraged for… obvious reasons. Or is it? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)[/p][p]Lastly, an adaptive Combat AI system is in development. In simple terms, dependent on the player's actions on the field- like how an encounter was initiated, the enemy AI will adapt and respond differently.
