We bring you the latest updates from the world of VoidBound.

Let's fill you in on all the details!

We're re-designing the User Interface for Weapon Modding.  As a major feature of VoidBound, we want the mechanic to be visually appealing, easy to understand, and intuitive for players.

Flat coloring for the second scene of the Henosis new content is progressing well, with the work now around 70-80% complete.

We've also completed the concept art for the Henosis bank note, adding a tangible element to the game's economy. Whether it's for the casino or other shadowy corners, this hard currency is ready to circulate.

The new "relaxation" journey scene featuring Caly and Vas has now moved into the concept phase. Brace for some supercharged skin-ship.

The preliminary story draft involving Caly's new job on Henosis is near complete. Players will be offered multiple ways to approach the  narrative, with variations that'd lead to different outcomes. The choices made will also impact how the finale unfolds, adding layers of depth and replayability to the experience.

We're also reviewing the Slime vs HDF Saga. While the quest is engaging, we believe there's room for improvement by clarifying the objectives, so that branching narratives are clearer for the players.

A full scriptwork containing the entirety of the Slime vs HDF saga, including gameplay mechanics, was handed over to the writer for further editing.

Work is also underway to enhance the Henosian side quests by integrating more sparkly interactables. We hope that alongside the quest log, these visual cues will help players navigate around the map and the objectives.

To boost the atmosphere within dungeons, we're working on implementing new Sound Boxes. These will add an extra layer of immersion, making each dungeon exploration more intense and engaging.

Finally, development has begun on the first Casino Mini-Game. Whether you're feeling lucky or just want to unwind, this new feature will let you try your hand at winning big—but beware, you might lose all those hard-earned credits on Henosis!

Flat Colors for the new job on Henosis are done.

Sketching of Caly and Vas Fun Date is underway. This scene will give us a new look at the unlikely friendship between Caly and everyone's favorite troublemaker.

Updates to the user interface are underway (New dialogue box, weapon modding interface)

Continuing to look into the Slime Quest to improve Objectives in the quest and make sure these changes are reflected in the Quest Log.

Drafting Caly's new job scene and making sure the scene can reflect Caly's level of excitement for the specialized job. Neon lights and loud music can be distracting after all.

Work has also begun on the Introduction for a special Bounty Hunting mission will take Caly into a dangerous sector of space, complete with new allies and new enemies.

Fixed enemies not vanishing during the epic Tripteen Boss Fight.

Raised Clothing durability and added the damage reduction (DR). DR will now be tied to the condition of the suit.

We're looking into further ways to balance out two locations: The Embassy and Xaide.

Fixed a crafting bug with the weapon modifications.

Hi folks!

Welcome back to our weekly update bulletin! It’s that time again for a little peek behind the scenes.

Caly is gearing up for some fun activities! We've been working on two new scenes that will provide her with some exciting ventures during her downtime on Henosis.

The first of these scenes is nearly complete. Stay tuned for some new artwork!

Brainstorming continues on how to expand Caly and Vas' relationship, uncovering areas that can enrich their connection further.

Xaide arc is now earmarked for some text tweaking for story cohesion and character development.

We’re also revisiting the Slime Quest saga to improve some relevant objectives and information formatting in the quest log.

The lab section of the Intro arc has been revamped with updated events and adjusted story flow.

All four Tripteen Dungeon maps have undergone slight adjustments to better align with the narrative. These range from basic visual cues to event tweaks.

Players can now accept the Luggage and Thirsty Guy quests on Henosis at a later time. We’ve also added new elements to both quests to improve visual guidance and make the quest progression clearer.

A number of players had trouble locating Cava, Ovden, "Her Indulgence," Embassy Entrance etc. when exploring Henosis for the first time. New markers are being implemented to their respective quest-lines.

Finally, new map nameplates have been added and are now live for all zones, except for the Mind Dungeon and Slime maps. These new nameplates will be displayed whenever players enter a different zone.
