V0.7.46

[p]1. Added an option to offer a farmstead for peace when you are unable to resist retaliation from another family's private troops.[/p][p]2. Added a chance for friendly families to assist when you are under attack by another family's private troops. If you've become part of the royal clan, the imperial guards may also step in. Note: Reinforcements will only appear if their troop strength exceeds that of the attackers.[/p][p]3. Added the ability to dispatch private troops to seize farmsteads being sold by other families without paying for them.[/p][p]4. Added the ability to abduct characters from the courtesan lounge using private troops. After family members listen to music performances or finish drinking, a "kidnap" button may appear. If the family member has an available marriage or concubine slot, the abducted character will become their spouse; otherwise, they will become a household retainer.[/p][p]5. Improved the system that governs changes in other families' private troop numbers. When a family’s population is extremely low, their private troop count will decrease accordingly. (Note: In older save files, troop counts may take some time to update under the new system.)[/p][p]6. Improved the outcome logic of the Send Rebels Against Local Clans action: results are now influenced by the military strength of both sides, and both parties will suffer troop losses.[/p][p][/p]

Weekly Update Plan (June 23–June 29)

[p]This Week’s Focus: Refining the Private Troops System[/p][p][/p][p]Last week, we launched the first version of the private troops system, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. So this week, we are not adding any new features. Instead, we’ll focus on improving and expanding what’s already there.[/p][p]1. Add a chance for friendly noble families to assist you when you are attacked by another family's private troops.[/p][p]2. Add an option to give up a farm in exchange for peace when you are unable to resist retaliation.[/p][p]3. Add new recruitment sources for private troops, such as refugees and prisoners.[/p][p]4. Add scenarios where noble families involved in private troop skirmishes may request your assistance.[/p][p]5. Add the ability to directly dispatch private troops to seize farmsteads from other families.[/p][p]6. Add the ability to send private troops to abduct characters from the courtesan lounge.[/p][p]7. Add a chance for the royal court to be attacked by private troops from rebellious families. Players can choose to help defend; if already a royal relative, you can ask other families for support. Win the battle, and you can eliminate the entire rebel clan.[/p][p]8. Add the ability to form alliances with other noble families to jointly attack the Royal City.[/p][p]9. The success of inciting rebels to harass other families will now be affected by the size of the target’s private troop force.[/p][p]10. Improve the mechanics behind how other families' private troop numbers increase or decrease over time.[/p][p][/p][p]We plan to update the game 2 to 3 times this week. If time allows, we’ll also sneak in some small improvements, like last week’s new character search feature in the family tree.[/p][p][/p][p]And finally, regarding performance issues that many of you have mentioned, this is a long-term process. We are constantly optimizing parts of the system each week to reduce lag and heavy processing. You might not feel the difference right away, but we are on it. Thanks for sticking with us![/p]

V0.7.452

[p]1. Added a search function to both the Family Tree and Royal Lineage panels, allowing players to quickly locate specific characters by name.[/p][p]2. Fixed a bug where the royal succession interface would not close even when there was no emperor or no remaining royal members.[/p][p]3. Fixed a bug where interactions with other noble families in the city could cause errors (e.g., issues during marriage proposals).[/p][p]4. Fixed a bug where civilians being sentenced would instead be mistakenly promoted to official positions.[/p][p]5. Fixed a bug where canceling an engagement caused the residence’s Convenience and Safety values to decrease, when they should have increased due to fewer residents.[/p][p]6. Fixed a bug where the Sycamore’s description did not match its actual bonus stats in the residence.[/p][p]7. Fixed a bug where royal family members could still appear during Propose Marriage events even after becoming imperial in-laws. Also optimized the Propose Marriage mechanic to make it more logical.[/p][p]8. Fixed a bug where the Charm stat of candidates in martial or literary Propose Marriage events was displayed incorrectly.[/p][p]9. Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the crown prince from ascending the throne. Those who previously failed to ascend will now automatically take the throne in the following month.[/p]

Version Update V0.7.451

[p]1. Optimized the retaliation mechanism of hostile families. After each retaliation, the negative relationship value (equivalent to hatred) will decrease. Generally, after one or two retaliations, they will stop, avoiding endless reprisals. [/p][p]Currently, the private troop system is still incomplete, with many features not yet implemented (it really couldn’t be finished in one week). More updates will be added next week.[/p]

Version Update V0.7.45 | Private Troops System

[p]1. Fiefdoms Can Now Build Private Troop Barracks[/p][p]    You can now construct Private Troop Barracks on empty land within your fiefs. These barracks allow you to recruit private troops, with recruitment influenced by the local population and happiness level.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. Private Troop Management System Added[/p][p]    Newly recruited private troops start with low combat strength and loyalty. Both attributes will improve over time. Once they reach their base cap, you’ll need metal ore, sulfur, and saltpeter to upgrade their equipment and boost combat strength. To raise their loyalty cap, increase their wages.[/p][p] [/p][p]3. Improved Fief Population Growth[/p][p]    The population growth system has been optimized. If a fief is lacking population, relevant policies and laws that support population growth will now be more effective.[/p][p] [/p][p]4. Adjusted Fief Happiness Recovery[/p][p]    Happiness recovery has been rebalanced. Changes to tax rates now have a much more significant impact on happiness levels.[/p][p] [/p][p]5. Private Troops Can Now Pillage Other Clans[/p][p]    Your clan’s private troops can now launch pillaging missions against rival noble clans. These actions may yield valuable loot, including rare items like elixirs and talismans.[/p][p] [/p][p]6. Clan Skirmishes Enabled[/p][p]    Private troops can now engage in direct conflict with other clans. If relations are poor, rival clans may even attack your family residence.[/p][p] [/p][p]7. Rebel Disguise to Attack the Imperial Capital[/p][p]    Private troops can now disguise themselves as rebel forces to launch an assault on the Imperial Capital. If successful, you can claim the throne directly without needing votes from other clans.[/p][p] [/p][p]8. Updated Imperial Guard Deployment Rules[/p][p]    At least 10,000 Imperial Guards must remain stationed in the capital to maintain security. Until your family achieves royal status, you won’t be able to dispatch the full force. Royal clans are exempt from this limitation.[/p][p] [/p][p]9. Added a monthly military pay entry to the finance panel[/p][p] [/p][p]10. Added a monthly clan official stipend income entry to the finance panel[/p][p] [/p][p]11. Fixed a bug where the close button on the "Promote Clan Member to Main Spouse" screen was unresponsive[/p][p] [/p][p]Only part of the private troop features related to clan conflicts have been completed this week. The rest will continue to roll out in next week’s update (which will also include other new features). We’ll also be fixing bugs as usual over the weekend.[/p][p] [/p]
