Hey guys,

Due to issues with Steam's servers, House of Legacy, along with several other recently released games, is currently experiencing problems where some players are unable to download or update the game. We’ve reported the issue to Steam and are awaiting their fix.

Temporary workaround: Uninstalling and reinstalling the Steam client should restore normal functionality.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

- All characters in the scene will now remain completely still when time is paused.
- Fixed a bug where only one person could earn military merit when multiple clan members enlisted.
- Added the ability to dismiss private tutors.
- Fixed an issue where private tutors were not recalled after the clan member they served had died.
- Added hints for dragging and zooming the family tree.

House of Legacy has officially launched in Early Access on Steam today. We’ve noticed that some players have reported issues with the initial version, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We’ve already discussed these matters with the development team and quickly prioritized a plan for improvements.

Here’s an update on the current fixes based on your feedback:

- Blurry assets and character illustrations: We are actively working on fixing issues related to image clarity and improving the display of character portraits.,

- Stuttering during certain interactive events: Thanks to player reports and feedback surveys, we are working to resolve these issues quickly. A patch addressing these problems will be released soon.,

- Gameplay feedback: Some players mentioned that the building system feels a bit cumbersome, game speed is hard to perceive at higher multipliers, and NPCs continue moving even when the game is paused. These issues have been added to our to-do list and will be addressed in an upcoming update.,

- Fixed an issue where the game could freeze during marriage proposals to top-ranked candidates.
- Fixed a bug where the Supreme Commander couldn’t deploy troops when no generals were available. The empire will now dispatch a general automatically in such cases.
- Added a "Quit Without Saving" option to make it easier to reload earlier saves.
- Added instructions for assigning books to clan members (now shown in task prompts).

Pro tip: When importing blueprints, we recommend clearing your current map first to avoid overlapping buildings.
