Temtem: Swarm News

We grew up fearing Quicksand. Pycko was born to wield it!

Hey Tamers!
[p]
Pycko and its evolution Drakash are crashing into Temtem: Swarm with fire in their paws and earth under their claws. These two aren’t here to play nice: they’re here to blaze trails, shake the ground, and make sure no swarm survives unscathed. Their scrappy hit-and-run energy and new Earth techniques are built to bury the competition.[/p][p][/p]
Pycko 101
[p][/p][p]Pycko is all about balancing reckless flames with clever positioning. Every time it makes physical contact, it leaves enemies burning and gains a quick burst of speed to slither out of trouble. This fiery hit-and-run identity makes Pycko feel like a burning bowling ball bouncing across the battlefield. Hard to pin (get it?) down, even harder to ignore.[/p][p][/p]
Let's Talk Techs
[p]Right out of the gate, Pycko comes with Earth Drill, its signature starting move. Two earthen drills sprout on either side of Pycko, chewing through enemies and dealing steady damage as you come in contact with the swarm. It’s a perfect tool for carving out space when the swarm closes in.[/p][p]Don’t worry though, Pycko hasn’t forgotten its Fire roots. It can tap into the full arsenal of Fire techniques as well, giving it the flexibility to scorch wide groups or snipe key threats as needed.[/p][p][/p]
New Earth Techniques
[p]Sludge Gift: A nasty surprise that tunnels underground before erupting in an area-wide blast. Enemies think they’re safe until it pops up beneath their feet. Boom! Taste sludge, punk![/p][p]Quicksand: A control tool that leaves a sticky pit, pulling enemies toward the center while slowing them down. Great for setting up combos with teammates or keeping threats off your back.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
What about that Ultimate?
[p]When Pycko really gets cooking, it unleashes its Hot Sand Bath ultimate. Pycko glows from a sudden increase in temperature, raising its defense significantly while punishing anyone who dares get close. Every contact deals damage in addition to getting burned by Pycko’s trait. It’s like standing too close to a furnace that just came to life and the perfect moment where Pycko goes from prey to predator.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Shattered Eclipse patch drops on September 22nd! Are you excited to try out Pycko in just a few days? Let us know in the comments![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
See you in the Swarm, Tamers!

Patch 0.8: launch date, spoilers, and more!

[p]Hi Tamers! We've been quietly working on the next update, patch 0.8, but we think it's safe now to chat about it a bit, even to provide a launch date! (knocks on wood)[/p]
First of all, a date
[p]Temtem: Swarm's 0.8 patch will launch on September 22nd if everything continues going according to plan! With that out of the way, let us show you some of the beauty that we have in store for you this time!

[/p]
Shattered Eclipse
[p]Patch 0.8's formal name is Shattered Eclipse, which might already give you some clues as to where we're going and who we're meeting, but if it doesn't ring a bell yet, good! We'll be posting map spoilers tomorrow >:)

A great focus of ours in this patch was to give players more control over their Temtem: Swarm, as well as improving visibility across the board. While we won't share all our tricks yet, we can tell you about one great change we did: as per your requests, we've added a new slider in the Settings menu that let's you alter the transparency of your Techs, allowing you to make them less intrusive if they bother you.[/p][p] Following all the received community feedback, we've been manually adjusting many individual Techniques, trying to make them less intrusive, but at the end of that road we figured: why not let you peeps choose that? So you can now control how intense you'd like to see Player Techniques! You will also see the Techs from your co-op partners with the opacity you've set for yourself, meaning that if your opacity is set to 30%, you will see your partners' Techs at 30% opacity, while if they have it at 100% they will see your at 100%! All the choice with as little intrusiveness as possible! [/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]
And speaking of customization, would thou like to live more challengingly? Challenge yourself to the max with 5 new Hacking level modifiers: extra Minibosses, dissappearing pickups and enemies with a chance to leave waste pools, explode or be shielded. [/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]
We also wanted to bring back Mayhem Drive, although it seems it had bypassed our filters and is in the game since 0.7. If you hadn't noticed it yet, it's a fantastic pick-up that releases all Techniques with no cooldown during 5 seconds. Keep an eye out for it from now on!

These are all the spoilers we can share about 0.8 for now, but remember there's a new playable Temtem coming, new Techs, a new Arena with a new boss and mini-bosses, an entirely revamped Kudos system and menu, more QoL changes, balance bug fixes and more. And what's best? Plenty of that came from your suggestions, so it's extra especial!
See you around for some more spoilers, Tamers, but until then...

have fun and Temtem up! ːtemloveːːswburnː[/p]

Another step forward! Check out the July edition of our living roadmap!

Hello, Tamers!
[p][/p][p]We hope you're doing great in the intense summer temperatures. One day more, we gather here to talk about the upcoming future for Temtem: Swarm, as we've been doing after every big update. [/p][p]Endless Inferno has been a fierce patch, with our first-ever Fire Tem, Raiber, the Kisiwa arena and the endless (hehe) entertainment that are the Hacking Levels. With the blazes of 0.7 and it's companion, 0.7.1, still burning bright, we can pause and take a look into our next big content update, 0.8, and further! So here's a recap of the more substantial changes coming to your Swarms in the near future. [/p][p]As usual, remember that, while we're posting it and it is totally official, everything here is still subject to change, be replaced or be rescheduled. [/p][p][/p][p]If you're familiar with us and our future plans, you know we don't include any sort of dates, and we try to keep things open to possible changes. But if you're familiar with our vibes, you know there'll be many spoilers as the time gets closer![/p][p] We don't have a name for the next update just yet, but we'd love to hear your wild guesses on it! What Arena and new playable Tem do you guess the 0.8 version will contain? We'll be checking your replies in our social media and Discord server.[/p][p] As usual, there will be new Techniques, Synergies and Gears, but there will also be more and better Hacking Levels to explore and conquer! Plus new Glitches to really put yourself to the test.[/p][p] We're really paying attention to issues brought up by our community (you!) in previous patches, so there's a focus on addressing areas that were mentioned by the community. You can identify all the community-suggested changes thanks to the little 👥 icon! Kudos are getting improved and revamped, with new in-game tracking for them and a complete overhaul of the Kudos section to improve legibility and accessibility. The Floor is Lava, a spot that has been often brought up as hard to see, is also getting improved to tackle this issue players have. And, in the same vein of making the game as pleasing and comfortable for players as possible, we'll be creating settings to customize your cursor in 0.8 too![/p][p]Remember Temtem: Swarm is still in Early Access, and as such, open to your feedback and suggestions! Please let us know your ideas and suggestions through our Discord server; please search around first to see if someone else has proposed the same thing. We do our best to read everything, even though we cannot reply to the majority of it, and it helps us shape Temtem: Swarm into a fantastic game. Thank you for your energy and help! [/p][p]With every new update we get closer to a better Temtem: Swarm! Thank you for all your support so far: we hope you'll continue to enjoy Temtem: Swarm in the future! [/p][p][/p][p]Until then, have fun Tamers! And…[/p]
Temtem up!

The Temtem: Swarm demo is back online!

The Temtem: Swarm free demo is back online, and available for everyone who wants to give our chaotic bullet-heaven a try without paying in advance!

Patch 0.7.1 just launched, and between the many cool, community-suggested changes we introduced we also have brought back our free demo! We want everyone to have the chance to give Swarm a try, and we also want to welcome new players into our world! To that end, we've created a demo that will give everyone a good taste of what Swarm really is. If you enjoy our demo, please consider checking out the full game too!

In your Temtem: Swarm demo adventure you'll start with the lovely Platypet and Smazee by your side, our beloved starters! As you play and unlock Spots, you'll get the chance to hatch Oree and play with it as well! And later down the road you'll have a chance to meet Innki, a fan-favorite of all, but if you want to play it please dive into the full game! These Tems are very different from each other, so we hope you explore them all and experience their many different playstyles.

As for where you'll be playing, welcome to the Cipanku Arena! Enjoy the neon-drenched island where ancient pagodas and rickety wooden bridges clash with high-tech labs and digital chaos. A dearly beloved arena in the OG Temtem game, now at your reach in our Demo!

Any and all progress you make in the demo will transfer to the full game if you decide to step in! And the best part is that nothing is required from you, it will just automatically happen! We wanted to ensure the transition was as subtle and easy as possible.

Another fantastic thing: you'll be playing with Tamers from the full game and the demo alike, so you can join any friends that were playing, and meet new players you synergize with. Just keep in mind that, in order to be able to play Co-op with them, they need to meet you where you are, on the Cipanku Arena and without any Hacking Level. Hacking Modes, which are advanced and challenging ways to play, need to be unlocked in the full game. But if you've liked the demo I'm sure you'll get there in no time!

A fantastic chance to try out Temtem: Swarm for free, and a great way to welcome patch 0.7.1! If you're curious about our freshest patch you can read the patch notes here.

We hope you all give the free demo a try, and that you enjoy it! Find the free demo here!

See you soon for more, Tamers! Until then, have fun and Temtem up!
