A Message From The Director:
We would like to provide an update regarding the features originally planned for this release: “Player Addition” and “Instant NPC Match Start.”
To ensure stability, we will first roll out the feature that allows players to access Training and Challenge modes while waiting in matchmaking.

Based on how this feature is used, we will gradually implement the Player Addition and Instant NPC Match Start features in a future update. Following our investigation into the recent bug, we discovered that issues occur when the number of team members changes during the Runner Selection phase. As a result, we are prioritizing the release of the Training and Challenge access during the matchmaking feature, so we can observe when players tend to join or leave. This information will help us safely deploy the remaining features.

We sincerely apologize for the repeated delays and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
Thank you for bearing with us.
Featured Content
Players can now access areas outside the lobby (such as Training or Challenge) while waiting in matchmaking.
- The number of players in matchmaking is shown in the top right corner of the screen.

Note: If you're in a team, each member can move to other areas individually.
Note: If the team is created in a private lobby, voice chat between team members is available in all areas.
Note: Although Closet access during matchmaking was originally planned, it has been disabled in this update due to a confirmed bug.

Match End
- After a match ends, players can now choose to return to the lobby with their current team or leave the team. Previously, the rematch function would immediately begin the character pick phase. Now it has been changed to return players to the lobby so they can do other things while waiting.
Other
- Shortened the detection time for player disconnection during matches.
Bug Fix
- Issue in the New York City (Day) stage where players could respawn inside objects.
- Issue in the tutorial where falling out of bounds via a specific order could cause progress to become stuck.
Known Bugs
- Players other than the Team Leader may be unable to select Challenge Mode during matchmaking.
Note: This can be resolved by entering the Training Room, which will enable Challenge Mode selection. A fix for this issue is planned in next week’s update.
- In some cases, when returning to the lobby after a match, the Team Leader’s main console may not display correctly.

Change of Maintenance Date and Upcoming Updates

Hey Runners, this is the Brazen Blaze Team with an announcement.

Change of Maintenance Date and Upcoming Updates
The matchmaking update originally scheduled for today has been postponed to Tuesday, May 27th due to issues discovered in some of the newly added features.

Identifying the cause and implementing a proper fix is taking longer than expected.
We sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience caused to players who were looking forward to this update.

The issue lies in the newly implemented “Player Addition” feature as part of the matchmaking improvements. This feature is designed to automatically start a new match with six real players when they gather during a match that initially includes NPCs.

However, under certain conditions and timing such as players joining or rematching, bugs may occur, including:
 • Teams disbanding unexpectedly
 • Matches failing to start properly

Given that Brazen Blaze is a game centered on 3-player team cooperation, we have decided that it would be inappropriate to proceed with the update without resolving these critical issues.

We ask for a bit more time to ensure we deliver a stable and seamless matchmaking experience to all players.

We would also like to take this opportunity to share our plans for future updates.
Major updates currently planned include:
• A new character (our 11th) to be added in mid-June
 • A new stage to be released in July
Additionally, Brazen Blaze will celebrate its 1st anniversary in July.
To commemorate this milestone, we are planning to transition to a Free to Play model (base game will be free) around mid-July,
with the goal of bringing in more players and making battles even more exciting and accessible.

For those who have already purchased Brazen Blaze, we are preparing a special thank-you gift as a token of our appreciation for your continued support.

Details regarding the Free to Play transition and this gift will be announced at a later date. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you as always for your continued support of Brazen Blaze.
