EA 0.4 - SCP-323-1 and more!

New Features
 • New Playable SCP: SCP-323-1 (The Wendigo) joins the roster of playable characters.
 • Dynamic Obstacles: Added randomized obstacles to maps to break long corridors and increase gameplay variety. These can become walls or vaulting points.
 • SCP-4166-2 Improvements: Now only one can be summoned at a time. Using the ability again will unsummon it. This change helps resolve frustration when SCP-4166-2 would teleport mid-chase. It will also spot humans more effectively.
 • Randomized SCP Selection: The chosen SCP is now random when entering the lobby.
 • Crosshair Per SCP: Your crosshair now changes depending on the SCP you’re playing.
 • Map Icon: Added a map icon to the human HUD.
 • Hitmarker Feedback: A blood hitmarker now appears on the human HUD when SCPs land hits.
 • Tutorial While Waiting: Displays a role-specific tutorial while waiting for players to join the match.

Gameplay Adjustments
 • SCP-4166-1 is now moderately faster.
 • SCP-106 is now slightly faster than humans.
 • Increased attack range and hit collision radius for SCPs.
 • The H key now properly hides and restores the HUD.
 • Map Layout: Added vault points to the upper hall in the Theater map.

Map & Environment
 • Restored map loading screens for all levels and added a new Chicago Theater loading screen.
 • Removed an invisible wall near plants and fixed a hole in the Chicago Theater map.
 • Fixed theater chairs being vaultable.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed loadout selection mismatch between lobby and game start.
 • Fixed leaderboards showing empty results.
 • Fixed an issue where SCP would start alone in a match while others remained in the lobby.
Donations
Added a Ko-fi link to the main menu: you can now support the game through donations.

Update 0.3.8.8 (EA) - Bugfixes and Improvements

SCP: Nemesi - EA 0.3.8.8 Changelog 🎅

This update focuses on improving both gameplay and user experience, addressing longstanding issues and introducing quality-of-life improvements.
Lobbies
Lobbies are still a work in progress, and we're actively addressing all the issues. To help players, we've added three new options:
- A Refresh Lobby button.
- A Debug Menu for troubleshooting, which provides additional tools to manage and resolve lobby-related issues.
- A Toggle to disable auto-join for lobbies. This is useful for hosting your own lobby without joining others automatically.
New Features
- Red Crosshair for SCPs: SCP crosshairs now turn red when a human is within melee range, providing better feedback during encounters. However, SCPs still need to wait for the attack cooldown, displayed on the bottom-right of the screen, before striking.
- Blood Effects: Added to the SCP HUD for improved visual feedback when successfully hitting a human.
- Proximity Alert for SCP-173: Human HUD now flashes yellow on the side SCP-173 is approaching from, providing a visual cue to help players identify its location. This feature reduces reliance on audio cues and enhances situational awareness.
- SCP-049-2 now has an attack animation.
SCP 4166 Enhancements
- Added a quick black fade and an on-screen message when teleported by SCP 4166-2.
- SCP 4166-2 now disappears after hitting a human, and its damage has been increased.
Improvements
- Added a "Currently Spectating..." text on the death screen widget along the name of the player you are spectating.
- SCP 106 HUD now shows a block icon if it cannot walk through a pointed mesh.
- Stamina regeneration has been increased.
- Objective markers no longer disappear after respawn.
Fixes
- Theater Map Issues: Resolved various bugs in the theater map, including player and SCP movement problems.
- Speed Buffs/Debuffs: Fixed inconsistencies with speed buffs and debuffs, and added a slow-down effect for SCP 049 attacks, similar to SCP 4166.
- Corrected issues where players could get stuck in specific areas (e.g in the theater map, in front of the hole above the stairs).
- Addressed bugs with lobby loadout syncing and character selection inconsistencies.

And as always, thank you for playing SCP: Nemesi! 🎄

Update v0.3.8.7 - Lobbies, new Fog, Bugfixes and UI Improvements!

This update introduces proper lobby support! Upon selecting 'PLAY', users will automatically be placed into a random lobby alongside other players. If there are insufficient participants, AI bots will fill vacant spots, and you will still be able to play.

Players will be assigned randomly to either the SCP or Human factions. They can then navigate through different tabs to select the SCP they will play (human characters are randomized), customize their loadout, and access additional features. Furthermore, players have the option to invite friends directly through the Steam Overlay or join their existing lobbies.

In response to user feedback, we have implemented several visual improvements. Specifically, the fog effect for Humans has been significantly reduced in density, creating a lighter visual atmosphere. Additionally, a new running effect has been introduced to enhance the perception of speed during gameplay.
