- Squash/golf options for socializing now available for all potential contacts, not just current business partners
- [BUG FIX] Large video game contract was referring to the name of the large cardboard contract
- [BUG FIX] Large video game contract was missing unlock requirements
- [BUG FIX] Some contracts were in the incorrect order causing some sub-optimal list displays

We’ve listened closely to your feedback (and reviewed our own) to identify the biggest challenge facing our intrepid entrepreneurs. The result?[/p][p]Rise of Industry 2’s first major content update![/p][p]So, what’s changed?
[/p][p]New Feature - Construction Manager:[/p][p]Have more oversight into the jobs of your builders and quickly adjust different project’s priorities as needed and jump between sites.[/p][p]Need something done as soon as possible? Push it to the top of your construction queue and freely move tasks up or down the list.
[/p][p]Improvement - Byproduct production:[/p][p]The way that byproducts are calculated has been adjusted, to make it clearer what is being produced where and when. It should now reflect what is being output more realistically
[/p][p]New Feature - Contact management:[/p][p]We heard your feedback with how contacts were made, maintained, and utilised. We agree that the way to navigate to your contacts and establish new connections can be quite difficult and overwhelming. As such, we have reworked the system. Reach out to other companies based on a target resource, link with new industry moguls via your employees, and network externally easier than before.
[/p][p]Improvement - Staff management:[/p][p]You can now hire and assign VPs more easily, selecting the role you want them to fill, rather than rejecting them, or slotting them into a role they aren't suited for.

    • [p]Hiring is initiated like normal.[/p]
    • [p]The successful candidate can now be assigned to any vacant position[/p]
  • [p]Added new socialisation options for other companies[/p]
    • [p]Brainstorm ideas to trade research for influence.[/p]
    • [p]Conduct Facility tours, which allow you to gain large amounts of influence for a price[/p]
  • [p]Utility reports are now complex based. Daily capacity and usage allows for a clearer view of your factories needs.[/p]
  • [p]Disconnected pipes, roads, and wires now have a separate visualization so breaks are clearer.[/p]
  • [p]Limits can be set on pipe connections for sending/receiving[/p]
  • [p]Various controller fixes and QoL updates[/p]
  • [p]Updated the controller reticle[/p]
  • [p]Some menus have updated visuals[/p]
  • [p]Hops can now be moved with conveyors[/p]
  • [p]\[Bug Fix] Sulfur mines were experiencing accidents too frequently[/p]
  • [p]\[Bug Fix] Large game cartridge factory was unlocking based on cardboard, not cartridges[/p]

Hotfix for water distriibution 1.0.8

We fixed water distrubution in farms which we broke in 1.0.7 while fixing another bug. Sorry and fixed!

Update 1.0.7 - Bug fixes, some sandbox updates and a bit of controller work

[p]- The land grant option from your executive assistant is now twice as likely to result in an available lot (if available)
- Midland campaign restrictions removed from sandbox maps
- Topeka campaign restrictions removed from sandbox maps
- There are lots of controller changes that should make the game easier to navigate with controllers
- Nuclear waste deliver and dumping revamped and should now work much better
- Number of stars per investment in Santa Rosa reduced (Note - new games only)
- The investments for power and water should now work by production output (Note - new games only) 💌
- \[BUG FIX] Farms were either never growing or never stopping to grow 💌
- \[BUG FIX] Conveyors stop supplying complexes if they overlap 💌
- \[BUG FIX] Executive assistant was offering bauxite mining but really giving you cobalt mining 💌
- \[BUG FIX] Tree farm local water pump not connecting in Topeka campaign map 💌
