P.S. I haven’t added safety switches to the weapons yet. It’s not difficult to implement, but in my opinion, it’s unnecessary. Yes, it would add a bit more immersion, but to me, it would be overkill. For example, switching modes on pistols would require two presses: with the safety off, you can shoot. On automatic weapons, there’s safety, single-shot, and burst modes. It’s not very convenient to switch quickly in combat. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Changes and Improvements:
- The leaderboard has been reset, now it’s your time to claim the top spot!
- The wobbling toy now behaves like it did in the old days — try to knock it over!
- Added the ability to switch fire modes and view item descriptions on HTC Vive controllers, as these controllers don’t have a B button. Now, you can perform this action by pressing the top button on the stick.
- Fixed a bug with one of the water anomalies in the "Industrial Zone" level. After throwing a bolt to discharge it, a vision blur effect would apply to the player.
- Now, to view information about the weapon, you need to hold the B or Y button for more than 1 second, depending on the controllers you are using (previously, it only required a press).
- In the "Pripyat" level, the AI-Life system has been adjusted to reduce the number of encounters between factions and monsters.
- Tweaks and fixes have been made to the "Industrial Zone" level.
- Some sound effects have been corrected.
- Some textures have been improved.
Remember, stalkers: I read all your feedback and try to respond quickly, unless it’s just “everything is bad and nothing works” without details :). The Zone is constantly changing, and every time you enter, it's a new challenge. Stay alert and be careful. Good luck! There’s much more exciting content coming your way!
