Version 0.0.5 Patch Notes

First of All, Thank You!
Thank you once again for all the feedback and bug reports you've shared with us throughout the Early Access period.
Every message you send helps us shape the Ketz universe into a more balanced, stable, and enjoyable experience.

With this update, we’re introducing new features alongside several key balance adjustments and technical fixes to improve overall gameplay.

Below are all the additions and fixes included in version 0.0.5:

[h3]New Features[/h3]
  • Resolution options and windowed mode have been added. You can now play the game in your preferred resolution or in windowed display.
  • Boss fight relics now have a chance to drop items one tier above their current rarity, offering more rewarding endgame moments.
  • Vysnc on/off

[h3]Balance Changes[/h3]
  • To improve the overall DPS of legendary mates, drone-type mates have been reworked. They now behave more aggressively in combat.
  • Lyria’s projectile area has been reduced, as it previously covered too large a space.
  • Trigger-based abilities now have an increased chance to activate, helping them better contribute to total DPS.
  • The Item Drop Rate formula was updated in version 0.0.4, but it didn’t perform as expected. We quickly reworked it between versions 0.0.4 and 0.0.5. As a result, item drop rates are now higher compared to the 0.0.4 patch.
  • Elite enemy attack areas have been reworked; they now engage in more aggressive and direct attacks.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where skill areas scaled incorrectly due to visual miscalculations related to area stats.
  • Resolved item stat multiplier errors that caused certain effects to apply incorrectly to characters.
  • Fixed inconsistencies where damage types like burn and poison failed to activate for certain skills.
  • Fixed visual glitches affecting the current HP bar after equipping items that increase or decrease max health.
  • Resolved display errors where (+/-) changes in character stats were shown inaccurately.
  • Fixed an issue where NPC unlock conditions were not visible when dialogues were turned off. You can now see NPC unlock requirements even while playing with dialogue disabled.

Ketz: Galactic Overlords – Version 0.0.4 Patch Notes

First of All, Thank You!
We’d like to thank you once again for all the valuable feedback and reports you’ve shared with us throughout the Early Access period. With every update, we carefully evaluate your input and continue to develop the game to make it more balanced, enjoyable, and stable.

This update includes several key gameplay adjustments as well as improvements to issues affecting the overall player experience.

Below are all the changes and fixes introduced in version 0.0.4:

[h3]Balance Notes[/h3]
  • The spawn rate of monuments on the map has been rebalanced.
  • Item drop rates and item rarity values have been updated.
  • Base stat values of the main characters have been revised.
  • Lord Navigatrix's abilities have been buffed.
  • The "Mass Manipulation" ability has been improved for greater impact.
  • The lifesteal mechanic has been rebalanced due to being overly powerful. Lifesteal now triggers only once per attack, regardless of how many enemies are hit.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed issues with elite enemy attack animations.
  • Resolved cooldown calculation errors affecting abilities.
  • Fixed tracking and movement issues in ranged enemies.
  • Fixed the issue where the Challenge Box was not affecting item rarity.
  • Fixed several scenarios where the game could freeze on the loading screen.
  • Resolved ability trigger failures occurring during performance drops.
  • Fixed item duplication issues in Tinket's Forge system and Orin Vaal’s Gemstone crafting.


Note: The game now displays the version number. When reporting bugs or sharing feedback, please include the version number to help us investigate and resolve issues more efficiently.

Ketz: Galactic Overlords – Version 0.0.3 Patch Notes

First of All, Thank You!

We truly appreciate all the interest you’ve shown and the valuable feedback you’ve shared with us during the Early Access period.

Thanks to your suggestions and reports, we continue to improve the game with regular updates.

Each patch brings new features, balance changes, and bug fixes to enhance your overall gameplay experience.

[h3]New Features[/h3]
  • Character Save has been added. The game will now remember your last played character, and you’ll continue with them in the HUB after restarting.
  • Language preferences are now saved. Your selected language will persist after relaunching the game.
  • You can now select skill cards using the “Space” key for quicker choices!

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • The enemy respawn system has been updated. Empty areas on the map now repopulate more quickly and aggressively; get ready for tougher waves.
  • Due to this change in the respawn system, the number of elite enemies has been reduced.
  • General abilities have been rebalanced. Trigger-based abilities now deal less damage, but their activation chance and impact have been increased.
  • Item stats have been updated and rebalanced.
  • Hammathor’s axe-throwing ability is now smoother and more fluid.
  • Elite enemy behaviors have been improved; they’re now smarter and more dangerous!
  • Health values of bosses and elite enemies have been increased.
  • Auto-attacks now also target breakable chests.
  • Lyria’s attack sound effects have been updated.
  • Rarity rates in gemstone crafting have been adjusted.
  • Item Rarity rates have been rebalanced.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where mate abilities could remain outside the map.
  • Fixed a bug where Lord Synthrex could leave the boss arena.
  • Addressed placement issues within stash slots.
  • Fixed a bug where elite enemy indicators would break when attacked.
  • Shop reset bug has been resolved.
  • Fixed item-related issues that caused the game to freeze on the loading screen.
  • Fixed a display bug where passive experience stats appeared as 0.
  • Several previously non-functional achievements are now working correctly.
  • Fixed functionality issues with the Navigarix Strike and Time Rift abilities.
  • Addressed placement and spacing issues when dragging items.
  • Gamepad button indicators have been fixed.
  • Invisible obstacles on the map have been removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Damage Reduction stat was not working properly.
  • The Experience Ratio stat is now more stable and consistent.
  • Fixed an issue where dash would be cancelled when starting a run with a dash input.

Ketz: Galactic Overlords – Version 0.0.2 Patch Notes

First of All, Thank You!

From the very first moment we launched into Early Access, we’ve been overwhelmed by the interest and all the feedback you’ve shared with us.

The bugs you've reported and the suggestions you've made are incredibly valuable. With your support, we’ll continue improving the game through regular updates and aim to deliver a more satisfying experience with each step forward.

We've collected feedback from Discord, Steam, and all other platforms, and are addressing each item step by step with our development team.

With this update, we’re sharing several key balance changes and important fixes;

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Issues related to the monument system have been addressed. Monument effects are now more balanced.
  • Item drop rates have been rebalanced. The item flood is now under control.
  • Kael (Hunter) now has increased projectile range. Long range playstyle is more viable.
  • Enemy health values have been adjusted for more fair and dynamic runs.
  • Luck and EXP stats provided by items have been rebalanced to reduce excessive stacking.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Nyxara can now be unlocked properly. We wish you many high-crit runs with our assassin!
  • The stash system is now active; you can safely store your items.
  • Crashes and infinite combat loops during the final boss fight have been resolved.
  • Crashes caused by switching monitors or using alt-tab have been fixed.
  • The issue where enemies could pass through monuments and environmental objects has been resolved.
  • The bug where attack animations continued after death has been fixed.


New content, performance improvements, and balance updates will continue to roll out regularly throughout Early Access.
