Ketz: Galactic Overlords is Now in Early Access!

Hello Ketz: Galactic Overlords players,

Throughout the demo phase, we carefully evaluated all your feedback, and with your help, we’ve shaped the game through numerous updates. Now, we’re thrilled to officially begin the Early Access journey! It’s a great joy for us to continue this adventure together with you.

During Early Access, our goal is to improve Ketz: Galactic Overlords even further with your contributions and transform it into a truly unique experience.

[h3]What Awaits You in Early Access?[/h3]

Early Access marks the beginning of a grand journey for us—and we aim to shape it hand in hand with the players. Here's what you can expect at this stage of the game:

  • 5 Main Heroes
  • 9 Galactic Leaders and Their Unique Abilities
  • Over 500 Pieces of Equipment
  • More than 100 Gemstones


With this content, you’ll join the war of the galactic leaders and craft your own unique playstyle.

But keep in mind, during Early Access:

  • You may encounter occasional bugs, balance issues, and optimization problems. All reported issues and suggestions will be addressed through regular updates to improve the gameplay experience.
  • Our roadmap will be shaped by player feedback and will be shared soon.

  • The character's EXP pickup range has been reduced.
  • Enemy movement speed has been reduced and balanced.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • The issue where items could not be used in the inventory / appeared grey on the UI has been fixed.
  • Font errors occurring when switching languages have been fixed.
  • Enemy and boss behavior has been adjusted.
  • The issue preventing players from entering the game / causing disconnects due to server connection problems has been resolved.


Note: Localization development is ongoing. We're working to make the game more accessible by adding more language options and fixing current localization issues—especially font-related bugs. Language support will continue to expand with future updates.

  • Localization support has been added. You can now experience the game in multiple languages. (Languages added in this update: Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese)
  • Boss behavior has been improved. Bosses now provide visual indicators before using their abilities.
  • Warning notifications have been added to indicate when a boss battle is about to begin.
  • Indicators have been added to elite enemy attacks.
  • A damage effect has been added to the player’s health bar.
  • Revival Potion has been introduced.
  • Gemstones can now be compared with each other.

  • Damage boosts from skill cards are now calculated based on percentages.
  • Enemy disappearance effects before the final boss fight have been updated.
  • The level-up bar visual has been redesigned.
  • Movement-restricting skills no longer affect bosses or enemies with yellow shields.
  • Excess commas in damage numbers on the stats screen have been removed.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Issues with stat scaling that prevented proper leveling improvements have been fixed.
  • Shielded elite enemies no longer get stuck on the map.
  • Fixed bugs in Projectile Speed and Projectile Range stats.
  • Resolved item stat issues that could crash the game.
  • Text issues in dialogues have been corrected.
  • Resolved issues related to conditional state abilities.
  • Addressed enemy overlapping in the final boss encounter.

[h3]New Features[/h3]
  • Indicators have been added to elite melee enemies. Their attack timing is now more predictable and clear.
  • Elite enemies no longer stay behind basic enemies. They now push through and attack directly.
  • New abilities have been added to the skill pool. (Detailed explanations will be included in upcoming devlogs.)
  • Descriptions have been added to character stats. Hover over them to see what each stat does.

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • With the changes to elite enemies, the enemy wave scenario has been rebalanced.
  • Dialogues on the Leader Selection screen have been simplified and revised.
  • The loading screen background has been updated.
  • Rarity rates in the skill selection screen have been adjusted. Now, depending on your character’s stats, there’s a higher chance of accessing stronger abilities.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where Phosma’s area indicator was not scaling properly.
  • Resolved an issue where Violet Vortex wasn’t applying life steal correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where the skill selection screen would not appear after leveling up.
  • Corrected the attack speed issues for ranged enemies.
  • Fixed certain abilities breaking during boss fights.
  • Resolved a bug where active trigger skills could be recast unintentionally.
  • Addressed an issue with overlapping music tracks.
  • Fixed an issue where Gemstones were not providing stats after switching characters.
  • Major optimization improvements were made, resolving most FPS and ability-related performance issues.

Devlog - Episode 3

Hello!

Welcome to the third episode in the Ketz: Galactic Overlords Developer Log.

In this edition, we will share upcoming game systems, characters, and mechanics with you, providing more insight into the development process. We also aim to shape the game’s progression together with feedback from the community.

Today, we will introduce Kael, the master tracker and archer shaped by the wilds of Arden. Let’s dive into her story and combat mechanics.



[h3]Meet Kael – Master Hunter of Arden[/h3]
Kael hails from Arden, an untamed world filled with dense forests and fierce wildlife. Trained from childhood to survive and hunt in the most unforgiving terrain, she became a legendary tracker, moving with unmatched stealth and striking with deadly accuracy.

But Kael’s peaceful world changed when unnatural creatures began creeping into the edges of Arden’s woodlands. Her instincts warned her that something far greater was unfolding. As she tracked these intruders, she uncovered a grim truth—Ketzeror’s corruption had reached her homeworld.

With Arden’s future hanging in the balance, Kael set off alone, determined to trace the threat back to its source. Her journey eventually led her to The Sanctuary, where she encountered Rax. Impressed by her skills and unwavering resolve, Rax welcomed her as a part of The Sanctuary.


[h3]Kael’s Combat Style[/h3]

Kael wields a high-powered bow, relying on agility and precision to strike from afar. Her combat is defined by two core mechanics:

  • Piercing Arrows: Kael’s arrows pierce through enemies, continuing past the initial target and damaging others in their path.
  • Focused Volley: Every third attack, Kael fires two attack instead of one.
