- [p]New static details such as creeper vines, spiderwebs, small plants, and leaves have been included in the towns.[/p]
- [p]All objects, such as trees and houses, have been layered so the player can walk behind them.[/p]
- [p]New animated details with proximity sound, such as horse stables, pig farms, chicken coops, and ravens, have been added to towns.[/p]
- [p]More foliage and trees have been added outside the town fences to offer more immersion.[/p]
- [p]Shadows have been split between 2 layers - one above the player and one below. This allows large objects like trees to cast a shadow on the player versus smaller objects that shouldn't.[/p]
- [p]Interiors now take perspective into account - the player can move one tile below the room's frame.[/p]
- [p]Interiors now have connected rooms that remain blacked out until the appropriate door is opened. When the door is opened, which is now fully animated, the blackout is removed.[/p]
- [p]More vibrant lighting has been added to all fire sources such as wall sconces, candles, and fireplaces. Animated fire sprites have been overhauled for more realism.[/p]
- [p]Innkeepers now give the player a key to their room, which they store in their satchel. The key is then given back to the innkeeper the next morning.[/p]
- [p]Rented rooms now come with a glass of wine and a bath which, help restore the player's Cups count (water survival) and Life points, respectively. The number of points restored depends on the quality of the room.[/p]
- [p]Light from windows now cast shadows on the floor that match the actual window frame.[/p]
- [p]Innkeepers now sell food appropriate to the town's resources in question. (E.g., towns with chicken coops sell chicken-based products.)[/p]
