• [p]A powerful fire axe used at the scene of fires.[/p]
• [p]Its heavy, solid blade can effectively destroy anything.[/p]

• [p]A one-handed axe that's easy to swing. Its sharp blade can effectively cut or split.[/p]
• [p]The round police riot shield allows you to advance while blocking infected attacks.[/p]

• [p]This construction hammer looks like it could smash anything with a single swing.[/p]

• [p]These individuals appear to have been caught in the outbreak while out for a run. Unlike Common Infected, they can sprint at high speed. They can close the distance in an instant with a bouncing dash, capable of inflicting lethal damage.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Screamer[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]The headlights on their helmets remain on and sway with their movements, allowing you to gauge how far the Screamer can see. These doesn't attack directly, but when they spot a player, they let out a horrific scream to attract nearby infected.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Gatherer[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]After the outbreak, these individuals explored surrounding areas and supplied resources to NAKWON just like players do, but died in combat and became infected. Their distinctive feature is wearing gear similar to that of players.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Armored[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]During the outbreak, these individuals tried to protect their entire bodies by crafting makeshift armor, but couldn't withstand surprise attacks and became Infected. They have a wide range of motion, and the armor they wear generates noise when moving.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Butcher[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]These Butchers suffered severe injuries to the eyes and head while avoiding attacks from Infected, and eventually turned themselves. Despite limited vision, they possess high melee attack power.[/p]

[p] [/p][h3]Policeman[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]Police riot squad members who were deployed to suppress the infection outbreak, but were overwhelmed by a swarm of Infected and eventually turned into one. Wearing riot gear, they boast high defensive capabilities.[/p]

[p] [/p][h2]4. Weather/New Environment[/h2][p] [/p][h3]South Jongno during day and night[/h3][p][/p]

• [p]In addition to day and night cycles, heavy rain is added as a new weather element. The sound of rain makes it difficult for both infected and players to detect each other's sounds.[/p]

• [p]You can place various pieces of helpful furniture in your shelter to aid in survival. [/p]
• [p]Through crafting bench upgrades, you can create more useful items and discover various housing items such as a Refrigerator that extends the expiration date of consumables.[/p]

• [p]Character Traits are a core skill tree essential for surviving in NAKWON.[/p]
• [p]Gain Trait points through leveling up, and increase your chances of survival with various active and passive effects.[/p]

As many of you may have already seen from the announcements, NAKWON's Closed Alpha Test will be held next month. 
We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your patience and continued interest.[/p][p][/p][p]For about two years since the Pre-Alpha Test, we have been refining and rebuilding most of the game based on what was then a near-prototype.
Systems that previously existed only at the planning stage have now been implemented to deliver a gameplay experience, and we’re finally ready to present the Alpha version to you.[/p][p][/p][p]The three biggest changes in this Alpha test are as follows:[/p]

1. [p]More diverse and in-depth survival action. [/p]
2. [p]More dynamic expedition environment[/p]
3. [p]The experience of living day-to-day in a post-apocalyptic world [/p]

[p][/p][h2]1. Complex & Detailed Survival Action[/h2][p]We've revamped melee combat and overall action. 
Moving beyond the simple and patternized "block and hit", combat has evolved into a system that emphasizes movement and aiming, allowing players to create their own attack trajectories.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ve also expanded the range of core actions, including rolling and follow-up attacks against downed enemies. In addition, a newly introduced skill system will allow you to freely equip and combine two skills, enabling a wider variety of playstyles.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]2. Dynamic Expedition[/h2][p]Expedition has been expanded to ensure that each run presents a different situation. Weather conditions are now more varied, and depending on the weather, the spawn, activity patterns, and combat scenarios of the Infected will change.[/p][p][/p][p]For each expedition, intel about key loot areas is shared. This intel reveals the location and information of lootable unique items, and since the information is shared with all players within the session, decision-making and mind games become a critical part of the expedition.[/p][p][/p][p]We've also introduced special types of zombies called the "Aberrant Infected" that stands out from the standard ones. On top of that, being bitten by the Infected will expose the players to the newly added infection system, which can result in player's death regardless of the remaining health. We believe these new features will keep you on your toes during the expedition.[/p][p]
[/p][h2]3. Living Through the Apocalypse[/h2][p]The shelter is no longer just a lobby. It is now a living space that reflects player life and progression in NAKWON.[/p][p]
You can install and upgrade functional furnitures such as workbenches and cooking counter and progress through each day by choosing activities during morning and afternoon turns.[/p][p]
Systems such as managing your hunger and morale, ranking up your citizen status, expanding your shelter, completing quests and gaining rewards have now been fully integrated, bringing a complete survival life loop into the game.[/p][p]
[/p][p]As so much time has passed since the Pre-Alpha test, we are both deeply grateful and sorry to those who have waited. [/p][h3]Q. Are realistic features of improvised firearms reflected in-game, such as reduced accuracy over distance and potential malfunctions while firing?[/h3]

[p]Firearms are broadly divided into two types: factory grade weapons from pre-apocalypse, and improvised firearms built post-apocalypse. Improvised weapons are generally less reliable and lower-performing than factory-made ones.[/p][p]In particular, low-end improvised firearms are designed to be disposable. They come loaded with a limited number of rounds and are meant to be discarded once those rounds are spent. They can also malfunction (e.g., jam), requiring a brief action to clear before firing again.[/p][p]We apply realistic ballistics to all firearms, with weapon-specific settings for range, bullet speed, reloading, and grouping, which results in distance-based changes in accuracy and shot spread.[/p][p]Our main goal is to keep firearms rare and impactful without undermining core gameplay, and we’ll continue refining this through future tests and community feedback.[/p]
