[h2]Hey Ruins To Fortress players![/h2][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Version 0.7.0 is out. This update adds Sandbox Mode, a proper Admin Menu, and a bunch of fixes and improvements. Here's what changed.[/h3][h3]The main addition is Sandbox Mode a new game mode where you can build, spawn items, and explore freely without survival restrictions. There's also a new Admin Menu that gives server owners a proper in-game panel to manage their server. Steam PvP Fest Update: Free Skins and Improvements! Version 0.6.0

Major Map, Biome, and Base Deco Update is Out Now!

[h2]Hey Ruins To Fortress players![/h2][p]Ruins to Fortress is stepping up with its biggest update yet! After the successful Early Access release in December and months of technical fine-tuning, version 0.5.0 brings a massive overhaul to the core gameplay of this 2D survival title.[/p][p]The update consists of multiple major expansions. With New Horizons, the game world has been reimagined: for the first time, players will explore procedurally generated maps, featuring a completely revamped biome system. Eight diverse biomes – from icy tundras to scorching deserts – introduce fresh challenges and strategic depth. Instead of one large island, players will now navigate multiple islands, and even the size of the map is customizable.[/p][p]Looking to make your base feel more like home? The Homestead update adds 20 new decorative items, including functional clocks, atmospheric light sources like lava lamps and torches, houseplants, and even a working radio. Every base can now become a truly personal space.[/p][p]On the gameplay side, version 0.5.0 introduces dangerous underground bunkers for daring players to explore. In addition, new destructible NPC bases offer fresh PvE opportunities and valuable loot. And to top it off, a wide range of quality-of-life improvements have been implemented – including a fully redesigned building system with snap-to-grid functionality, visible snap points, a reworked clan manager, and a handy minimap.[/p][p]Note: Save games from the old static map version are not compatible with the new version, and vice versa.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Map System[/h2]

  • [p]The nuke explosion will only affect 30% of the area within its blast radius. Player bases and clan bases are protected and won't be destroyed[/p]
  • [p]Improved sorting for craftable items and buildings, now color-coded to highlight commonly used items[/p]
  • [p]Item and building damage is now more clearly visible with HP values and percentage left, so it’s easier to see what you’re damaging during a raid or if your attacks are even making a difference.[/p][p][/p]

BETA: New Horizons Update is LIVE

[h2]Hey Ruins To Fortress players![/h2][p]After six months in Early Access, we’re super excited to release our biggest update yet, now available as a public beta! We've dedicated countless hours to rework the system, completely transforming the old hand-placed map into a unique, dynamic world featuring islands with diverse biomes.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]What Is a Beta?[/h2][p]A beta is a test version with new features. Your feedback helps us improve the update before it becomes the main version.
