Demo Patch 3 Now Live | Getting ready for Steam Next Fest!

[p][/p]
Greetings heroes!
[p][/p][p]Thank you all for continuing to play and give us feedback on Ascension![/p][p][/p][p]This is now our 3rd patch in 3 weeks of the demo going live, and we're really committed to listening to you and addressing as many issues as possible. As we continue onto Early Access release, you can expect the same level of commitment![/p][p]The main focus of this patch continues to be tuning the balance of the game, with several changes to enemies throughout the experience, while also scaling down some of the crazy Critical Strike builds possible.[/p][p]Also, we've got a camera change that will hopefully improve play for everyone, but especially those using Ultrawide resolutions (we got you!).[/p][p]Thank you again![/p][p][/p]
🗝️Early Access game key giveaway
[p]To celebrate Early Access and being part of Next Fest - we are giving away 20 Evercore Heroes: Ascension Early Access game keys! Complete tasks like playing the demo for an hour to improve your chance of winning - we'll draw the winners on the 16th of June when Next Fest ends! [/p][p]You can participate in the giveaway by going HERE! [/p][p][/p]
🎥IMPROVED CAMERA + ULTRAWIDE SUPPORT
[p]We have made a change to the Camera in the game and the way it calculates Field of View. This should result in slightly improved visibility for all players and support Ultrawide resolutions properly.[/p][p][/p]
🦸HEROES
[p]• New Soulbound Blooms: that increase your Hero's ultimate charge rate are in for all Heroes (for real this time...) [/p][p]• Shade: Critical Strike chance after a Blink increased from 5% to 8% to make it slightly more attractive to use. [/p][p](Note that this ability does also make her Untargetable, as a friendly reminder to those aspiring Shade players!)[/p][p][/p]
💎SHARDS
[p]• Jagged Stoneskin: Has been woefully underpowered, and now grants 300%+ return of damage to enemies. [/p][p]• Penscythe's Mark: Damage modifier reduced to 1, 2, 3, 4 per stack, per level. [/p][p]• Sorcerer's Gloves: Now activates every 4 ability uses, with crit chance now at 10, 13, 16, 19%. [/p][p]• Base Critical Strike Shard: Now grants 5, 7, 9, or 11% crit chance. [/p][p](Note – these critical strike shards can still grant a large amount of power when on a maxed out crit build, it was just too easy to scale rapidly before.) [/p][p]• Parting Gift: Tooltip error corrected — it never could Critically Strike. This fix should make Lucky Death Boom more appealing for crit explosion fans. [/p][p]• Beefy: Temporarily removed while we fix a bug that could block Double Dash.[/p][p][/p]
👹ENEMIES
[p]• Large Ice Wolf: Howl damage reduced significantly in Solo and Co-Op. Fracture magnitude and duration increased. [/p][p]• Small Golem Slasher: Spin damage reduced. [/p][p]• Large Golem Slasher: Damage slightly reduced overall, now immune to hit pause. [/p][p]• Golem Tank: AOE damage and fracture slightly reduced, now also immune to hit pause. [/p][p](NOTE: These hit pause changes fit thematically with larger enemies, and also make them slightly more dangerous for ranged Heroes.) [/p][p]• Golem Shooter: Slight damage reduction in co-op. [/p][p]• Artillery Golem: Bombs now persist after death, but deal slightly less damage. [/p][p]• Yeti: Movement speed increased slightly. [/p][p]• Thrashclaw: Damage reduced on several abilities. Fewer abilities should "one shot" squishy heroes with no upgrades or defences.[/p][p](NOTE: Though we continue to think that if you're playing a squishy, you should build around that 😉)[/p][p][/p]
🗺️MAPS & ENCOUNTERS
[p]• Fixed bugs where some maps could spawn more enemies than needed for Conquest. [/p][p]• Hard difficulty Surge now spawns enemies at a slightly slower rate.[/p][p][/p]
🛠️GENERAL BUG FIXES
[p]• Fixed several rare crashes and continue to squash bugs and stability issues. [/p][p]• Fixed a bug with scrolling on the friends list using Keyboard + Mouse. (Thanks DHaz!)[/p][p][/p][p]See you in-game![/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Reworked roguelike Evercore Heroes Ascension finally gets launch date

I remember previewing Evercore Heroes: Ascension two years ago. Its vibrant characters and intense, competitive action certainly scratched the League of Legends itch, with the PvE combat making it feel more akin to a playable Race to World First tournament than a traditional MOBA. But a lot has changed: in 2024 Vela Games announced that the game was undergoing a slight transformation, booting the competitive PvP element to focus entirely on PvE and add in roguelike-inspired elements. Since then, the team's been hard at work bringing its new vision to life and, if you've been following Evercore as closely as I have, you'll be excited to know that it's finally got a launch date - and it's just around the corner.

Krza...
Greetings heroes!
Once a sanction of ancient luum, Stormspire Summit is now raging with dark and powerful corrupted luum upsetting monsters and causing fierce blizzards!

Reports reveal no other than Kryoss Thrashclaw, the troll king, being in the middle of it all holding onto a shard of the Evercore with his giant claws! It's up to you to get that back, but of course..

... in style!!

After the success of our last contest, where winners earnt shards named after them (did you already spot them in-game?!), we are back with yet another competition!

Your mission is simple, queue up for a Co-Op run (either as premade party or solo with others) and get the best time possible beating Thrashclaw on Stormspire Summit!

Prove to us you are the best and we'll mention you and your team on an in-game leaderboard for this run during the start of Early Access!
When does it run & how do I compete?
The contest runs from now until midnight June 16th Irish time after which we'll no longer accept submissions!

Find the ground rules and more information here:
[CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE CONTEST STEAM FORUMS]
To compete we ask you to make a video recording of the full run including the victory screen that holds:
 • The completion time of the run
 • The amount of gold earnt at the end of the run
 • The names of all players in the party - you can do this by clicking the 'hero info' at the bottom right.
Once done you can upload this as public/unlisted video on Youtube and share the link in the dedicated space on our Steam forums.

Good luck heroes - you'll need it!
