4/1 Update Patch Note

Hi everyone,
Today’s patch includes some additions and bug fixes based on the last version.
We’ve been working hard over the weekend to bring you the new skin, as a April Fools’ present for you!
The following is our update:

New features:
Added new skin "Phoenix Rises" for Red From


General Improvements:
1.Under Dragon Hair Brush difficulty, Keh's actions are now more obvious and easier to tell
2.Casting Ink Skills that has no cast animations, such as Ink Skill of Flash Ink, will no longer interrupt other actions
3.Difficulty descriptions will also include Elixir drop rate information
4.Dragon Hair Brush difficulty drops 30% more Fox Blood

Bug Fixes
1.Red will no longer enter idle state when using skills that has no cast animations
2.Fixed an issue where Rosy Momo would incorrectly play a loop sound effect
3.Fixed an issue where with Heart of Sword and Grand Unified, certain damage dealt wasn't recorded as Light/Heavy Attack damage and Ink Skill damage.

Realm of Ink Nirvana Theme update is here!

Happy Friday! Our latest Nirvana Theme update is now available!
Here are some things to expect:

New Ink Gem “Limbo Ink” and new Perk “Crimson Fox Elixir” have been added.

A'kuan Form’s new skin, "Bamboo New Year", and Momo’s new skin, "Lunar New Year", have been added.

Difficulty level 7, "Dragon Hair Brush", has been added.

Enhanced enemies and drops: The first three End-Chapter Bosses now possess new abilities, making them more challenging.
Increased drop rates: Expect a higher drop rate for high-quality items, with Legendary Elixirs now dropping at an increased rate.

New Quality of Life Features
VIP Exclusives: Perks sold at The Emporium can now be locked. Locked Perks won't disappear during refresh and will remain during your next visit (unlocked via "Divine Decree of the Peach God").
"Spirit Fox Crossing": Interact with the fox-head effigy on the first floor of the inn to be directly transported to the entrance of "Story Relics" on the second floor (unlocked via "Divine Decree of the Peach God").
Dismantling System: Perks and Elixirs can now be dismantled into silver coins (unlocked via "Divine Decree of the Peach God").

Optimizations
1.Added a new voiceover for Golda
2.Optimized player hit sound effects, with further optimizations planned
3.Added new narrations as well as a skip function for endings (press Space to skip)
4.Added a Damage Stats function (note: some data may be inaccurate, we are in the process of optimizing it)

Balance Changes
1.General Gor Form:
a.Heavy Attack/Heavy Attack abilities damage increased by 30%
b.“Frostblade Spin” gains a 15% speed boost for Heavy Attacks
c.“Frostblade Edge” now has a 30% larger collision area, with 30% larger ice explosion
2.A’kuan Form:
a.“Leap Strike” now deals 30% more smash damage and attack area increases by 30%
3.Monk Jin Form:
a.Default charge speed increased by 20%
b.Passive effect amplifies damage by 1.3X (up from 1.2X)
c.“Zen Radiance”’ max charged Heavy Attacks now deal 2X damage (up from 1.5X)
d.“Guardian Wheel” Ink Pet cooldown reduced by 20%
4.Red Form:
a."Twin Blade" damage increased by 20%
5.Other Enhancements
a."When an Enemy Damages You" and "Additional Damage" perks have been buffed
b.“Crystal Pine”: Every 10 HP now grants +2% damage modifier (up from +1%)
c.“Stone-splitting Axe” now grants 30 Shield when entering a room
d.The shockwave from “Blessed Armor” now deals 2.5X damage in a 2.5X bigger area when triggered by Heavy Attack (previously same as Light Attack)
e.The Ink Clone from the “Ink Tunic” perk now deals 3X (up from 2X) the damage of the Heavy Attack it replicates
f.Bleeding base critical damage increased from 50% to 100%
g.Bleeding critical damage of “Ruinsome Tusk” increased from 30% to 50%
h.“Dreadful Die” and “Soul-Sealing Jar” now have a chance to inflict Ashy Momo’s Ash Curse, with smoke from the “Soul-Sealing Jar” having a 50% larger area
i.“Keeper Token” now applies 4 stacks of Weaken (up from 2)
j.“Sun Ink” now deals +30% damage
k.“Flash Ink” now deals +50% damage
l.Flame Wave of “Crane Ink” now deals +50% damage
m.Greatly increased damage of “Needle Ink”, with its dual-strike cooldown reduced from 3s to 2s
n.Blood explosion of Legendary “Needle Ink” now deals 4X the damage of a single Bleeding instance
o.Needle storm of “Needle Elixir” can now be casted every 2s (down from 3s)
p.Enemies now gain +8% critical chance (up from +3%) from Epic Ink Curse; and +13% (up from +5%) from Legendary Ink Curse per curse stack; when carrying “Ink Curse”, curse-related Perks are more likely to appear
q.Ink Skill damage of all tiers of Ink Curse has increased, and cooldown reduced by 1s
r.“Curse Elixir” provides 30% curse effect (up from 20%)
s.Ink Skill of all tiers of “Iris Ink” now inflicts more Weaken stacks (Legendary “Iris Ink” inflicts 6 stacks, up from 4)
t.Chance of triggering DOT status from Ink Pets increased from 7.5% to 10% for Epic Pisces Ink and from 10% to 20% for Legendary Pisces Ink when Ink Pets deal damage
u.“Pisces Elixir” chance of casting Pisces Wave increased from 15% to 25%
v.Damage modifier of Primordial Ink “Bloody Battle” has increased from 15% to 25% when you take damage
w.The Ink Skill cooldown for Primordial Ink “Grand Unified” has decreased from 9s to 8s; the cast animation has also been removed and can be casted during attack moves
x.Starting from Chapter 3, “Torn Scroll” perk will no longer drop
y.Explosion damage dealt to enemies from the cursed perk “Cursed Prayer Beads” has increased by 60%
z.Cursed perk “Spendthrift’s Purse” has increased silver coin drop rate from 88% to 100%

Bug Fixes
1.Fixed an issue where Grace Form's ability "Swift Trace" would spawn the ink trail in incorrect directions
2.Fixed an issue where aim assist's lock on range didn’t scale with the player's Light Attack/Heavy Attack range
3.Fixed a bug where Grace Form's Heavy Attack VFX wouldn't disappear properly when using Abyss Ink
4.Fixed an issue where the Damage Modifier of the "Floral Harmony" perk did not decrease when Ink Pets disappear
5.Fixed an issue where Wailing Flute wouldn't spawn Corrupted Ghost in the Evan & Mason boss fight
6.Fixed an issue with the VFX of Red Form's ability "Sky Sunder"
7.Fixed a display issue where Elixir drops would occasionally display incorrect icons
8.Fixed movement issues with enemies in "Eerie Garden" during Frenzy mode
9.Fixed an issue where a Silver Coin Drop Increase stat did not take effect in the same room

Important Announcement
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the temporary closure of Animitta's Sanctum. The underlying framework of this feature, built in early 2024, has faced increasing issues as the game versions updated. Despite our best efforts to resolve them, continued bugs have made it increasingly difficult to maintain. To deliver better content for everyone, our design team is working hard on new mechanics for Animitta's Sanctum. Stay tuned as we reinvent this realm in the future!

We are very grateful to announce that our Steam store page for Realm of Ink is back!! Thankfully, all the reviews and comments for the game has been preserved!


In the two months between January 3 and March 7 2025 when the game was in the limbo realm, not a moment did any member of our studio give up. We actively sought ways to get back online and also improve the game's content! Thanks to our partner 4Divinity and Valve, we will be able to announce some exciting news and provide an updated roadmap very soon!

New Year, New Look: Production Progress Update

First of all! On behalf of all the members of the production team of MoJing, A Kuan wishes all the players a happy New Year!
Looking back, your "amazing moves" and "ingenious ideas" in the game have left us completely astonished! In the new year, may you casually get top-level treasures in the game world, and make the monsters flee at the sight of you, becoming the "big shots" in the gaming world! In real life, may you have no worries about getting promotions and salary increases, enjoy delicious food and beautiful scenery, and be carefree every day!
Although the update of MoJing has not arrived as scheduled, the members of the production team have never stopped developing new content. Now, let me report the development progress to our dear players.
New Year skin for A Kuan's form (I really didn't force them to make it, seriously! Believe me!)

I don't know if it's just my illusion! Ever since I got this new outfit, my gameplay feel has been amazing! I cleared the levels without taking any damage throughout the whole process! It's insanely awesome!
Next up is the new difficulty level that you players have been eagerly waiting for!
We haven't come up with a name for it yet, so for now, let's just call it - Longhao!

In the Longhao difficulty level, a scarlet aura begins to constantly emerge in the scroll world, indicating that the upcoming battles will become increasingly dangerous!!
In this Longhao difficulty, the monsters will be much more powerful. Moreover, the chapter boss battles at the end of each level have all learned new moves!

Our General White Ape can summon increasingly powerful monsters. At the same time, it has learned a new consecutive slashing move (maybe the White Ape form will have more surprises in the future). Everyone, please be careful!

The Nightmare Golden Monk in the second level has become even more powerful!! Not only has it mastered the Consecutive Shockwaves, but it can also charge up and unleash a Laser Cannon!!! Fellow warriors, be sure not to get hit. It really hurts~!!

The gentle (crazy) Miss Gejin in the third level will now make it even more difficult for you players to move forward. The difficulty of achieving a no-damage run has increased significantly!!!
Of course, the Longhao difficulty level has more in store. I, A Kuan, am keeping a little secret. I'm looking forward to your performance when MoJing is reborn. (This time, it's really not going to be that easy for you to clear the levels so easily!!!)

Remember the new mini - boss revealed in the last issue? This time, we've made a preliminary implementation of it (and it's still being continuously optimized).
The Shamaness Priestess (tentative name) in the Six - Eared Snow Cave.
She is proficient in setting up barriers, using formations to trap players and cast various spells.
Once trapped by her, players need to be extra careful.

Regarding the bosses, in the following time, we will add a random mini - boss to each chapter. For the final bosses, we'll also incorporate more new mechanisms and moves. (Haha, don't say that the new difficulty only has increased numbers. I, A Kuan, have personally tested it, and it's really tough!)
As for the progress of the fifth major level, the production team is nearly at the end. We're making great efforts to create our final boss battle. Here, we're releasing some recent design drawings for you players to have a first look.
