[h2]Major Update Now Live – Preparing for Release[/h2][p]A new update for Pompeii: The Legacy is now live![/p][p]This is one of the final major updates before the full release, bringing a wide range of improvements across gameplay systems, balance, UI, and overall experience. The goal with this update was to refine core mechanics and prepare the game for its final version.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]What’s New[/h2][p]This update focuses heavily on improving the core systems of the game:[/p]
  • [p]Trade has been rebalanced to better reflect each city’s role[/p]
  • [p]Health and disease systems have been expanded with seasonal influenza and more impactful outbreaks[/p]
  • [p]Education and entertainment systems have been reworked for clearer and more consistent behavior[/p]
  • [p]A brand-new Army Panel has been added, giving better insight into your military[/p]
  • [p]New city interaction mechanics like Feasts and Games add more depth to citizen management[/p]
  • [p]A new building: Weaponsmith[/p]
[p]Alongside this, there are many UI improvements, new notifications, better feedback systems, and a number of performance optimizations, especially in the late game.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]What’s Next[/h2][p]The full release is approaching, and the next update will be the largest and final version of the game.[/p][p]Until then, I’ll continue polishing and fixing anything that comes up based on your feedback.[/p][p]The campaign has now been fully developed and tested. • Removed mine durability values and updated Mine Durability research
• Removed consumption radius from Apothecary Houses
• Added resource consumption toggle for all imported goods in the stock panel
• Added new notifications
• Added service coverage info to building hints (School, Library, Academy, Market)

• Improved balance of Medicine and Herbs consumption, especially during flu season
• Increased disease impact — health now drops more significantly during outbreaks

• Fixed and improved health impact from service buildings (Hospital, Bathhouse, Barber, Toilet)

• Added “Serviced” parameter to education buildings
