We have some exciting news for you!

[h3]Short demo of Used Cars Simulator is available again![/h3]

What's in the short demo? The demo's content is the same as the demo released in February. Many players reported to us that they didn't manage to play the demo when it was available - so we want to give them that opportunity ːsteamhappyː Of course, if someone played the demo before, they can play again 😀

Why the same short demo?
We are heavily focused on creating the Early Access version of the game. We want to release it this year.

Creating an entirely new demo would delay this. And we don't want that ːsteamhappyː

We want to give you also the chance to earn all the achievements ːsteamhappyː Because we know not everyone managed to do so.

How long will the short demo be available?
The demo will be available for two weeks - from July 22nd to August 5th.

It’s time for the next Weekly Update! As usual, in a few points, we'll present to you what we've been working on this week in Used Cars Simulator 😀

1. Visual - Night

We are working on the night-time visual. Such adjustments make the night in the game bright enough to move around and see all objects.



2. Visual - Reflections

We worked on reflections. Not everyone realizes that it is the reflections on the paint of the car that make the whole game look much better 😀



And this is what preparing for such a task looks like 😀



3. Market

We are adding a store to the city. It's still quite empty for now 😀 But you'll be able to find various essential tools there. We also started implementing a system for buying items and tools.



4. New NPC

We’re working on a new NPC - he will have a special role in the initial quests of the game.



5. Deformations and Missing Parts

We’re still improving the deformation system. Using the baseball bat is now causing damage not only to the part we hit but also to the surrounding parts (and it’s visible on the car’s plan, too).



And now the sellers’ cars are also damaged and missing some parts.



6. Indicators

We have created a system of intelligent indicators to help navigate the game. We have three colors:

- red, which will indicate the quest location



- blue, which will show where you can pick up packages ordered on UsedBay



- yellow, which will indicate where a buyer interested in purchasing your car is located (or the car you want to sell when you’re not in the car)



7. Other

We also fixed bugs that we (not always intentionally) created 😀
