YoloX 1.5.0

Quite a bit in this one...

First the Zoom effect which does just that. Give it a try with "Scope" crosshair and hold ALT to zoom. To adjust strength of zoom use CTRL+SHIFT+scroll. To change the ALT key use SETTINGS > INPUT > ACTIONS > zoom. Note that such an effect may break TOS for some games so use with care.

Then another update to inverted blend support. This time I have the best (0 latency) mode working perfectly on any GPU. However it requires you to either have a 2nd monitor attached (wierd huh?) or disable MPO (multipane optimizations), which is a janky thing Microsoft added that can improve overlay performance, but also causes side effects like stutter. The option to enable/disable this is in SETTINGS > BLEND > MPO.

The rest are QoL and feedback adds and an inverted fix.
UPDATES
• NEW: Zoom effect + zoom action (key: ALT) + "Scope" crosshair with first zoom support
 • NEW: Zoom level hotkey (CTRL SHIFT scrollup/down). default: 3x. range 1.5x-8x
 • NEW: Best inverted color support for everyone! See SETTINGS > BLEND > MODE:DIRECT.
 • NEW: Add exit/power button to main menu.
 • NEW: Support ALTGR modifier key
 • NEW: AntiAliasing toggle (settings > performance)
 • NEW: Support scroll up/down as bindable key
 • BUFF: Bump FPS limit to 500
 • BUFF: Arc shape length is now based on degrees
 • FIX: Inverted crosshair showing glitches when too large (size+zoom).
TODO
Several folks asked for more complex create features like animation transitions. Only so much can be done with sliders and buttons so I'm thinking to introduce scripting support to offer full freedom over crosshair design and behavior :)
 • NEW: scripted (LUA) crosshairs
 • NEW: collection: bound games selector
 • NEW: Allow animations to blend between actions.
 • NEW: Easier animations using tweens.

YoloX 1.4.1

[p]This is a followup with a blend fast mode rewrite...[/p][p]I accidentally ran into this blend method while researching a magnifier effect for the next YoloMouse update and it turns out to be superior to the existing one, such that it doesnt interfere with the cursor and has lower latency. Yes, I said magnifier aka zoom, which is easily doable with YoloX, but also likely to get it flagged as a cheat ;)[/p][p]About whats doable, now any kind of blend can be done, not just invert... but only in Fast or Compatible mode. I'm thinking removing the useless Subtract one then adding useful ones like edge detection, contrast, and a new kind of invert that considers mid grays better... like a hue rotate or something. Ideas highly welcome! :D[/p][p]Also a thanks to some detailed community feedback leading to several fixes![/p][p][/p]
UPDATES
• [p]FIX: blend:fast input/cursor issues.[/p]
 • [p]FIX: display/input issues when mixing between different DPI monitors.[/p]

YoloX 1.4.0

[p]This is major crosshair rendering rewrite aimed at performance and inverted support...[/p][p]The rendering side replaces the current DDraw impl with Dx11. This buffs rendering performance and opens up development for 3D and shaders. I'd use Dx12 or Vulkan but they dont play nice with overlays. [/p][p]A large part of this involved improving blending support. The main method was reworked for performance. New capture methods were added to support systems that dont support the main method. Each of these come with various tradeoffs so I made these selectable. By default the best known one is selected for known GPUs and games.[/p][p]Then XBox controller support. PS and other controllers are planned based on feedback. For now DS4Windows is recommended.[/p][p]The rest are feedback items and fixes :)[/p][p][/p]
UPDATES
• [p]NEW: Crosshair rendering rewrite to use Directx11. This improves performance and opens up future crosshairs to 3D and shaders.[/p]
 • [p]NEW: New configurable blending methods to improve color inversion support. Attemps to pick best method by default.[/p]
 • [p]NEW: XBox controller support[/p]
 • [p]BUFF: Bump scale limit to 4x (from 2x). This should allow near fullscreen LPVOs.[/p]
 • [p]BUFF: FPS limiter adjusts in 1 increments, instead of 10[/p]
 • [p]BUFF: Add pixel guide to grid background in demo view.[/p]
 • [p]BUFF: Create: Improve creating arcs[/p]
 • [p]FIX: Input bindings not working for mouse buttons.[/p]

YoloX 1.2.2

A few folks reported seeing the UI menu black screening. While I couldn't reproduce it, this "should" fix it ;)

Also made the new user intro message less annoying.
UPDATES
• FIX: Potentially fix UI blackscreen for some users
 • FIX: Make new user intro message less annoying by only showing up on games/apps up to 10sec after using the main menu
UPCOMING
Several folks asked for more complex create features like animation transitions. I'll look into this but it can only be so useful with sliders and buttons. So my thinking is to introduce scripting support to offer full freedom over crosshair design and behavior :)
 • Performance: Improve performance for more complex crosshairs.
 • Create: Allow animations to blend between actions.
 • Create: Scripting support
 • Create: Easier animations using tweens.
 • Create: Import animated GIFs (and whatever other format is animated + transparent).
