Launch Week Recap
How Launch Week Went
[p]This past week since launch has been crazy in the best and most eye-opening way. Releasing Echoes of Elysium has been a huge milestone for us and finally seeing it live feels incredibly rewarding. We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to try out our game and share their thoughts with us whether through Steam reviews, discussion posts, our Discord, or on social media. [/p][p][/p][p]Early Access is about learning in the open, and launch week delivered exactly that. We’ve learned a lot from seeing players jump in, experiment, and share their experiences. That feedback is helping us spot what to double down on and what needs more love as we keep iterating.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to everyone who’s been playing, sharing thoughts, and helping shape Echoes of Elysium as it grows.[/p][p][/p]
Feedback: The Good, the Bad, and the Takeaways
[p]We’ve seen a lot of feedback come in since launch, and honestly, we really appreciate how open and passionate everyone’s been.[/p][p][/p][p]The good stuff tells us what’s working. The tougher feedback shows us where things aren’t quite clicking yet. Both matter, and both help us make the game better. A lot of what you’ve shared has already helped us spot issues faster and rethink priorities in ways we might not have caught on our own.[/p][p][/p][p]At the end of the day, we’re here to build Echoes of Elysium with you. We want to learn, improve, and keep pushing the game toward the experience you believed in when you picked it up. We’re listening, we’re iterating, and we’re committed to making this journey worth it.[/p][p][/p]
What’s New?
[p]In just one week, we’ve pushed out five (okay… six 😅) solid patches, and most of that progress came directly from community feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Since launch, we’ve already improved core feel and usability in some meaningful ways. Mouse sensitivity settings are now live, movement and gliding are smoother, early-game friction has been reduced, crafting and repair issues have been fixed, and a bunch of annoying bugs and edge cases have been cleaned up. These were things players flagged quickly, and we made it a priority to get them addressed fast.[/p][p][/p][p]Every update so far has been guided by player reports, suggestions, Steam reviews, and conversations happening in the community. It's been incredibly motivating and has helped us move faster and smarter than we could have on our own. Seeing how people actually play and where things slow down or click helps us focus on what matters most. If something feels off, even if it seems small, we want to hear about it. That feedback genuinely shapes what we tackle next so keep them coming! [/p][p][/p][p]If you missed them, here’s a full breakdown of the patches we’ve shipped so far:[/p][p]Feb 4 - Patch 0.16.14[/p][p]Feb 3 - Patch 0.16.13[/p][p]Feb 3 - Patch 0.16.12[/p][p]Jan 30 - Patch 0.16.11[/p][p]Jan 29 - Patch 0.16.10[/p][p]Jan 28 - Patch 0.16.09[/p][p][/p]
Build With The Community
[p]
[/p][p]We’ve made it a priority to stay accessible and receptive to all forms of feedback no matter how big or small it may seem. Here are the best ways to share your thoughts with us:[/p][p][/p]
Join the Discord!
[p]https://discord.gg/loricgames[/p][p]Our team is active daily, chatting 1-on-1 with players, helping troubleshoot problems, and chatting about the game. We also have an amazing active community of players helping each other out as well. It’s a fun place to hang out and we’d love to have you join![/p][p][/p]
Feature Request Board
[p]https://feedback.echoes.games/[/p][p]Share your ideas, suggestions, and request new features. Don’t forget to upvote any posts you’d like to see implemented as it helps prioritize what we should focus on next. [/p][p][/p]
Bug Report Board
[p]https://bugs.echoes.games/[/p][p]Report issues so we can address them as quickly as possible. Upvotes here also help highlight the most urgent fixes.[/p][p][/p]
Steam Discussions
[p]While we may not respond to every post, we do read through the discussions regularly, so feel free to drop your feedback there as well.
[/p][p]Even if your feedback or bug report isn’t submitted through these boards, it may still be picked up and submitted on your behalf.[/p][p][/p]
Looking Ahead
[p]We really appreciate every comment, review, and message we get, whether it’s praise, suggestions, or tough feedback. It all helps. The positive stuff keeps us energized, and the more critical notes are what help shape where the game goes next and how we make it better.
[/p][p]Coming very soon, we’re already working on a handful of highly requested improvements:[/p]
[/p][p]Alongside these updates, our broader roadmap covers bigger systems and expansions still to come. We’re genuinely proud of what we’ve built so far, and it’s been awesome seeing players jump in and start exploring the world of Elysium.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for playing, for speaking up, and for joining us on this journey. We’re just getting started with the updates and we can’t wait to keep improving the game together. Keep an eye out for future patches, we’re always working on them![/p][p] -Team Loric[/p]
