Developer's Update: Holiday Gifts, Annual Discounts & Plan of 2025!
Happy Holidays!
We hope all Chiefs are immersed in the holiday spirit and enjoying your time in Soulmask!

We've also recently been running a 20% off sale during the Steam Winter Sale (December 20th - January 2nd)! This will be our lowest price of the year! If you're not already a part of Soulmask, don't miss out on this!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2646460/Soulmask/

Throughout November, we were hard at work on our biggest update of the year:Wild Ride。We're thrilled that so many of you love what we've created. Our 30-day positive rating has reached an impressive 84%—a huge thanks to every player who's supported our work!

This update also sparked a new wave of screenshot boom in our community, and Maggie makes it a point to enjoy the bizarre and wonderful scenes created by players in the new version every day:

*From Discord user @Ryuk—— How could such a tiny creature leave behind such a massive mess...?

From Discord user @Uldi—— Check on the living conditions of those farmed bison...

From Discord user @Xamand—— Who says we still need to manually transport new barbarians?

From Player @澤井Shiho—— With some creative building and the right mods, you can experience a completely unique version of Soulmask...

Thanks to these players for sharing! You've shown us just how much more vibrant the world of Soulmask can be.

Enough reminiscing about the past—let's talk about the present. To wrap up the year, we've prepared a small gift for everyone: A special festive edition of Soulmask!
Winter Wish Update!
Even barbarians have their own rituals at the end of the year. Let me introduce you to our new building: the Festive Decoration Tree!

This magical fir tree is unlocked for free in the tech tree. It not only adds a cozy charm to your camp but also periodically grants you mysterious holiday gifts!

The gift boxes may contain sorts of furniture recipes: festive dining tables, roasted turkeys, and other lavish holiday feasts for your tribe to enjoy this winter. But remember, folks! These are just props! You still need to keep your tribe fed! So make sure to stock up on "Turkey Platters" in your warehouse!

We've also added new red-themed sleigh and moose saddle skins. And don't miss the signature "toy" of the snowy mountains: snowballs! You could play as a certain holiday figure, riding a moose and pelting every target in sight with snowballs...

Of course, beyond these updates and events, our focus is shifting to future development. While we can't share too many details just yet, we're excited to give you a glimpse of what's in store for 2025.
Soulmask in 2025
If we were to summarize our plans for Soulmask in 2025, our initial roadmap would include three key priorities:

Feedback from Our Chieftains

In 2025, our top priority remains the same: continuing to respond to feedback from players who love Soulmask. We are more than happy to work alongside you to make this game even better!

Of course, as the Chieftain community continues to grow, the feedback we receive is becoming increasingly diverse. In response, we are exploring the addition of new game modes to better cater to the varied gameplay needs of different types of players.

Naturally, beyond working with all of you to refine the game, we also have our own long-term plans.

The Story Behind Soulmask

We believe that the exploration of civilization, consciousness, and soul remains an integral part of Soulmask. In 2025, we will place even more emphasis on this aspect, from the story to the new world, with more content than you can imagine waiting for you to explore.

According to the established game world lore, a brand-new continent, new civilizations with their own unique Soulmasks, and entirely new gameplay that is vastly different from what we have now are already on our to-do list. All of this will be unveiled in 2025!

Tribes! Tribesmen!

Tribes and tribesmen will always be the most important part of Soulmask. Moving forward, we will continue to focus on optimizing and enhancing all content related to tribe management and tribesmen. We believe in focusing on what matters most and doing it well, and we fully understand this principle.

The automation of resource acquisition and production, tribe defenses, tribesmen AI, and enhancing the tribe atmosphere are all being actively worked on.

We apologize that we don’t have further details to share at the moment, but I am confident that we won’t make you wait for too long! In 2025, Soulmask will be even more distinct, so stay tuned!

Lastly, we wish everyone a joyful holiday season and happy gaming! We’ll see you again soon!

Soulmask Mod Highlight #2 - December
Hi Chieftains!
Another month has flown by, and Maggie hope you’re still keeping up with our Workshop updates! Over the last two months, our amazing Modders have been getting comfortable with our tools and are now starting to showcase their incredible creations.

It's time to give these incredible mods the attention they deserve and ensure you don't miss out on the amazing work the community has been doing. Let's shine a spotlight on these fantastic creations once again!
1. Tasty HUD By Noms
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3371143686&searchtext=

From one of our most brilliant Modders, Noms, comes the Tasty series, which lets you take full control over the main HUD in Soulmask. Resize it, move it wherever you want, or even hide it entirely—it’s all up to you. Now’s your chance to customize Soulmask to suit your style!

If you haven't heard about the Tasty series yet, be sure to check out our October Highlight for all the details. It's one of the top server management mods available, and if you run a private server, it's an absolute must-have!
2. Collection Pack Series By squash20
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3372041077&searchtext=

Looking to add a medieval touch to your builds? squash20’s Collection Pack Series brings you a beautiful set of medieval-style candles, torches, chandeliers, and candelabras.

The lighting effects on the candles alone are absolutely stunning! If your stone castle could use a little European charm, this mod will definitely bring that unique, old-world feel to your world.
3. Glass Building By Lucifer
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3344831027

Ever dreamed of living in a crystal castle? Or is that just me...?

Well, if you’re anything like me, you’ve got to try this new glass building material mod! It may not be actual crystal, but it’s pretty close, right? Created by the talented Modder Lucifer, this mod includes frosted and transparent glass options.

Whether you’re looking for a sleek glass door or dreaming of a massive, transparent castle, this mod will unlock endless creative possibilities for your builds.
4. Telescope By Lucifer
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3377107031

I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting this, and yes, it's exactly what you think it is:

I probably don't need to introduce this one much, but here it is anyway: the highly efficient tribesmen selection mod by Lucifer. With this mod, you can see literally "all" the information about the barbarians. If you've ever been "tricked" by high-rarity but low-quality tribesmen, then this is the must-have mod for you.
5. Warlock Weaponry By Krysez
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3368648373&searchtext=

Tired of the usual realistic combat (though it’s always fun)? Then Warlock Weaponry is here to shake things up: it introduces an entirely new magic system! Use tech points to learn magic, gather Essence to craft powerful spells, and most exciting of all—equip the Essence Gauntlet! With it, you can cast a variety of spells.

These spells allow you to poison, freeze, or slow down your enemies, and even boost your own speed. Creator Krysez has promised that this is just the beginning—expect even more magic to be added in future updates. If you’re looking to try out a completely new playstyle in Soulmask, learning magic might just be the perfect place to start.
