[/p][p]We've also been making progress on developing the new Minimap feature -- do join our Discord server if you're curious about it![/p][p]Lastly, we've been reading your feedback and are also experimenting with slightly raising the weight limit for Charms, allowing players to have more varied and versatile set ups.   • [p](!!) Fireballs in the Mountains have been a constant point of frustration for players -- raining down too quickly and not giving players much time to react. As such, they have been slowed down.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]\[JA] Made some minor improvements and corrections. [/p]
  • [p]\[ZH-CN / ZH-TW] Fixed some line breaks that appeared oddly in the Makanomicon.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]QoL Updates[/h3]
  • [p]Added a \[Multiplayer only] label to the descriptions of Twisted Necklace and Friendship Charm.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Aesthetic Updates[/h3]
  • [p]\[Equipment] The recharging for Twisted Necklace's buff is now visualised for Som with a new VFX around his equipped Utensil.[/p]
  • [p]\[Equipment] Owned Equipment are now displayed accordingly on the Equipment Racks in the Camp.[/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Updated some level preview screenshots (shown in the Adventure Map) to better reflect the level's game elements.[/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Improvements to how Dakila's "New Shop Items" icon appears in the Level End Card. The icon also now only shows the first time a level is beaten.[/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Stars on the Adventure Map level nodes now only show for the current mode (either single-player or multiplayer).[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]\[Local Multiplayer] Fixed an issue where the fixed split screen would cut off the minigame UI of the Beach Spirit Trial's Kitchenware.[/p]
  • [p]\[Single-player] Fixed several issues pertaining to swapping characters under certain conditions. Also improved the responsiveness of the "Swap Character" action button.[/p]
  • [p](!!) Fixed an issue where players who died during a cooking minigame would remain stuck in it after reviving. While they could still move around, they were unable to interact with the game.[/p]
  • [p](!!) Fixed an issue where players can sometimes drown during low tide/in the midst of the tides changing.[/p]
  • [p](!!) Fixed several issues with the Bandito -- the Bandito will now drop its stolen item if it was defeated mid-steal, and the Bandito should not be able to steal a player's held item. Lastly, if the Bandito steals from the Cold Box, the food icon bubble above the Cold Box should disappear accordingly.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]\[Kitchenware] Fixed an issue where the output ingredient of the Chopping Board and Mortar & Pestle does not match the Freshness level of its input ingredient. [/p]
  • [p]\[Input] Improvements to handling of device disconnections, where a disconnected device sometimes breaks player input entirely.[/p]
  • [p]\[Equipment] Fixed an issue where the Drumbone’s special ability was unable to hit monsters on elevated ground.[/p]
  • [p]\[Equipment] Fixed an issue where the Spatula’s special ability would sometimes not restore the player to full HP.[/p]
  • [p]\[Equipment] Fixed an issue where equipping multiple HP Charms did not correctly apply the total HP increase to the players.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Fixed an issue where pausing at a specific moment between the Loading Screen and a level would break the Pause Menu.[/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Fixed an issue where closing menus too quickly would cause some interactions to break.[/p]
  • [p]\[UI/UX] Improvements to the Freshness Meter UI of Kitchenware when new ingredients are added.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]\[Levels] Improvements to colliders for 01-03's map boundaries, as well as Mango and Banana Trees.[/p]
  • [p]\[Levels] Corrected a line in 02-01's dialogue that was Som’s but incorrectly set as Merapi’s.[/p]
  • [p]\[Levels] Made Fishing Spots in 03-12 accessible.[/p][p][/p]

[p]Hi everyone, Jay and team here! [/p][p]Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone for their patience and continued support, because we've just hit "Mostly Positive" on our recent reviews! Thank you for recognising our efforts and commitment to the game![/p][p]As indicated in our roadmap, there's still lots of work to be done in terms of improving and polishing up the gameplay experience. While we're super excited to bring these new features to you, its taking some time for us to develop them alongside managing our Q4 2025 console releases![/p][p]In the meantime, here are more fixes and polish for this week's patch.[/p][p][/p][h2]Patch v1.0.7c Notes[/h2][p] [/p][h3]Online Multiplayer Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed a player position desync issue when using Wind Portals and Whirlpools.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p](!!) A much-needed QoL update -- the Cold Box's icon bubble permanently shows the item placed in it, rather than players needing to be nearby to trigger its appearance. [/p]
  • [p]Finetuned panning distances for Fishing Spots.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced initial loading time for Makanomicon.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]\[JA] Removed a duplicate word from the name of Wok. [/p]
  • [p]\[JA] Corrected a typo in Merapi's name.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Increased resolution and standardised outline thickness for the dishes list shown in the Adventure Map level selection card.[/p]
  • [p]Darkened the background colour of Gon’s dialogue header for better readability. [/p]
  • [p]The Teletotem’s gem will now be highlighted together with the mesh when in interaction range.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed some Pause menu usability issue -- fixed issue where the "Close" control doesn't work, and the "Resume" button is automatically selected upon opening the Pause menu while in a level.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a bug where the Noodle Maker and Rice Pot UI was rendered behind the environment in 02-07.[/p]

[p]Hi everyone, Jay and team here! [/p][p]This week's hotfix brings forth more balancing changes and bug fixes. Some preliminary late-game balancing changes have been made to Fireballs, Banditos and Teletotems.   • [p]Reduced the amount of Fireballs spots, and decreased their spawn rate.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the amount of Bandito (food-stealing monke that appears in the third biome) spawns, especially in single-player mode.[/p]
  • [p]Added additional Teletotem servers to 02-05, 02-07, 02-10, 03-09, 03-10 and 03-11.[/p]
  • [p]The Potato Shooter in 03-10 now fires further into a non-Fallen Step area, so it is obtainable without having to slice it from a Fallen Step, which can be extremely challenging.[/p]

  • [p]Changed the colour of Noodles to help distinguish it further from Ground Ginger.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Wakpapa would sometimes flop in the air after being defeated.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the player character would spin endlessly after using Whirlpools.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bunch of events where SFX would continue playing endlessly -- the Bubble Tea's pouring minigame, the Seasoning Machine processing ores, as well as the dialogue typing SFX.[/p][p][/p]
