[p]Hi everyone, Jay and team here! [/p][p]Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone for their patience and continued support, because we've just hit "Mostly Positive" on our recent reviews! Thank you for recognising our efforts and commitment to the game![/p][p]As indicated in our roadmap, there's still lots of work to be done in terms of improving and polishing up the gameplay experience. While we're super excited to bring these new features to you, its taking some time for us to develop them alongside managing our Q4 2025 console releases![/p][p]In the meantime, here are more fixes and polish for this week's patch.[/p][p][/p][h2]Patch v1.0.7c Notes[/h2][p] [/p][h3]Online Multiplayer Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed a player position desync issue when using Wind Portals and Whirlpools.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]QoL Updates[/h3]
  • [p](!!) A much-needed QoL update -- the Cold Box's icon bubble permanently shows the item placed in it, rather than players needing to be nearby to trigger its appearance. [/p]
  • [p]Finetuned panning distances for Fishing Spots.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced initial loading time for Makanomicon.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Localisation[/h3]
  • [p]\[JA] Removed a duplicate word from the name of Wok. [/p]
  • [p]\[JA] Corrected a typo in Merapi's name.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Aesthetic Updates[/h3]
  • [p]Increased resolution and standardised outline thickness for the dishes list shown in the Adventure Map level selection card.[/p]
  • [p]Darkened the background colour of Gon’s dialogue header for better readability. [/p]
  • [p]The Teletotem’s gem will now be highlighted together with the mesh when in interaction range.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed some Pause menu usability issue -- fixed issue where the "Close" control doesn't work, and the "Resume" button is automatically selected upon opening the Pause menu while in a level.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed colliders in 02-11 where players could wander into drowning areas in low-tide.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the Noodle Maker and Rice Pot UI was rendered behind the environment in 02-07.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the "hit" action prompt would not appear when Cooker approaches a Mango Tree, Sago Tree, or Banana Tree.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p](!!) Fixed issue where the achievement "Tumpeng Tribulations" could not be unlocked. For players that have already met the condition, the achievement will unlock upon entering the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where progressing through dialogue using the keyboard can sometimes skip certain dialogue lines.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Kopimancer's bean projectiles were sliceable by the player.[/p][p][/p]

Some preliminary late-game balancing changes have been made to Fireballs, Banditos and Teletotems. [/p][p]Please note that as we are still in the midst of reviewing late-game difficulty, more improvements will definitely come in the future to make the late-game more reasonable![/p][p]For a list of planned improvements coming in the next few months, please refer to our roadmap.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Patch v1.0.7a Notes[/h2][p][/p][h3]Balancing[/h3]
  • [p]Reduced the amount of Fireballs spots, and decreased their spawn rate.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the amount of Bandito (food-stealing monke that appears in the third biome) spawns, especially in single-player mode.[/p]
  • [p]Added additional Teletotem servers to 02-05, 02-07, 02-10, 03-09, 03-10 and 03-11.[/p]
  • [p]The Potato Shooter in 03-10 now fires further into a non-Fallen Step area, so it is obtainable without having to slice it from a Fallen Step, which can be extremely challenging.[/p]
[p] [/p][h3]Aesthetic Updates[/h3]
  • [p]Changed the colour of Noodles to help distinguish it further from Ground Ginger.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed a Whirlpool in 02-08 not working.[/p]
  • [p]More improvements made to level colliders in general.[/p]
  • [p]The Rusted Blade Charm's ability (reduction of charge time for special abilities) should now apply correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect textures for the 3D model of the Chilli Crab.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Sibat projectiles spawning in the wrong rotation.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Wakpapa would sometimes flop in the air after being defeated.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the player character would spin endlessly after using Whirlpools.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bunch of events where SFX would continue playing endlessly -- the Bubble Tea's pouring minigame, the Seasoning Machine processing ores, as well as the dialogue typing SFX.[/p][p][/p]

We're moving towards providing regular updates every two weeks, with hot fixes in between.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h2]Patch v1.0.7 Notes[/h2][p][/p][h3]Game Balancing[/h3]
  • [p]Balanced the Steamer Minigame -- before, it was easy to unintentionally drain the minigame progress after a bubble leaves the line. A short buffer duration after a bubble leaves the line has been added. This added improvement should help provide some leeway for more players when learning the minigame. Some Steamer minigames have also been adjusted slightly due to this change.[/p]
  • [p]Rewired the Teletotem network in the Beach's Spirit Trial to accommodate the flow of the level more.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]QoL Updates[/h3]
  • [p]In addition to balancing, we've also made visual improvements to the feel and feedback of the Steamer minigame.[/p]
  • [p]To avoid ambiguity between "O" and "0" in a lobby code, generated lobby codes will now not include "0".[/p]
  • [p]The camera that used to pan when players approach a fishing spot will now only pan when player is in a fishing minigame.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the sound effect attenuation range of kitchenware in Spirit Trials -- you should now be able to hear the kitchenware being damaged from wherever you are in the level.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Aesthetic Updates[/h3]
  • [p]Some dishes have longer names in different languages, causing them to look overcrowded in their respective order cards. We're beginning to tackle this issue, starting with shortening the Windomie names in Spanish.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the font used for lobby codes to better distinguish similar-looking characters.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the colour of the fishing cone minigame in the Mountains -- it was originally green, which blended in with the green lava.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed blurry terrain textures in the early Forest levels.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p] Fixed an issue where players would be unable to attack after serving a dish in a Boss level.[/p]
  • [p]Chopped Tomatoes from the Tomatomancer projectiles can now drop on the ground and be picked up.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrectly-labelled Assembly Table in the Skewer's Makanomicon page.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed stretched stone tablet illustration in the cutscene that plays before 01-09.[/p]
  • [p]Fine-tuning of awkward colliders in 02-12, 03-10 and 03-11.[/p]
