2024/2/6 Update & Issue Fixes

Endless Immortal Journey's Demo version made its debut as scheduled at today's Steam New Release Festival! We've collected a lot of player feedback and modification suggestions today, and after a day of intense work, here are the updated and fixed contents:

【New Features】
*. Added an auto-cast option;
*. Added a quick sell option for equipment;
*. Added animations at the start of battles;
*. Added level and tier information when obtaining junior and senior disciples;
*. Added prioritization of low-health targets for healing skills;
*. Added some side quests;

【Bug Fixes】
*. Fixed the issue of characters starting battles without returning to their positions;
*. Fixed the issue of the Hall of Heroes not refreshing after unlocking;
*. Fixed the issue of the Hall of Heroes not recruiting new disciples on the first day of each month;
*. Fixed the issue of buffs not being effective;
*. Fixed the issue of being unable to complete certain tasks if not accepted;

Game Development Log (Issue 6)

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, another week has passed, and it's time to update the development log again~

In this issue, we will mainly introduce the first chapter enemies featured in the demo version.

The player's initial area is located on an unnamed island above the East Sea. Although the island is primitive and wild, it is filled with abundant spiritual energy.
Common enemies on the island are elemental creatures formed by the convergence of the five elements' spiritual energy. With low intelligence, they are often found in various spiritual veins areas.
Around the sect, players may occasionally encounter some ancient and formidable creatures, such as tree spirits or stone monsters, which have formed over the years.

And now, the ultimate boss monster currently occupying the island, bringing calamity to the region: the Fei Niu.



Fei Niu is a beast symbolizing disaster. Where it goes, water dries up, and grass withers; its presence heralds a great epidemic.
This marks the first calamity that players must prevent on their immortal cultivation journey: the "Disaster of Xun."

Game Development Log (Issue 5)


Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, another week has passed, and it's time to update the development log again~
In this issue, we will mainly introduce the sect system in the demo version.

The sect system primarily features a relatively light simulation and management gameplay. Players need to construct and manage their own sect, obtaining substantial benefits from various buildings within the sect.



Buildings in the sect system are categorized as core buildings, resource buildings, functional buildings, and enhancement buildings.
Core buildings mainly refer to the "Sect Main Hall." In the Sect Main Hall, players can overview the sect, browse existing tasks, and more.
Resource buildings include forests, mines, and spiritual gathering formations, responsible for producing resources required for sect development and essential resources for player cultivation.



Functional buildings include the forging room, hall of heroes, and sect marketplace. These buildings are responsible for activities ranging from forging equipment and refining elixirs to recruiting disciples, trading goods, and dispatching disciples for exploration.
Enhancement buildings include the martial arts arena and scripture library, mainly providing various growth and bonuses to the player's team.

In the demo version, all resource buildings and some functional buildings will be open. The remaining buildings will be gradually unlocked in future updates. Stay tuned~

Game Development Log (Issue 4)

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, another week has passed, and it's time to update the development log again~
In this issue, we will mainly introduce the character cultivation system in the demo version.

In Immortal Journey, players can cultivate their characters in four main aspects: advancing realms, equipping gear, practicing martial arts, and taking elixirs.
Advancing Realms: Characters have a total of ten realms, ranging from "Qi Refinement Realm" to "Immortal Ascension Realm," each divided into ten levels of cultivation. Cultivation can be enhanced by consuming spiritual energy, but breaking through major realms requires collecting genius treasures scattered throughout the world and refining them into elixirs to aid in the breakthrough. Each breakthrough in a major realm grants a significant power boost to the character.

Equipping Gear: Players can obtain equipment through monster hunting and sect forging. Wearing powerful equipment can significantly enhance a character's attributes.

Practicing Martial Arts: Each character can choose a suitable path of martial arts and complement it with martial arts techniques chosen by the player to gain unique and powerful benefits.

Taking Elixirs: In addition to refining elixirs to aid in breakthroughs, players can also craft elixirs to enhance character attributes. Characters can take these elixirs to experience continuous growth (remember, moderation is key, excessive consumption in a short period can be harmful~).

The demo version will open the functions of advancing realms and equipping gear for character cultivation. The features of practicing martial arts and refining elixirs will be gradually unlocked in future updates. Stay tuned~
