Greetings, headmasters!

We’ve just released a small but important hotfix to address a few critical bugs that could impact your academy’s smooth operation. Thanks to your reports and feedback, we’ve identified and resolved these issues to ensure a more stable gameplay experience.

Fixed

• Fixed a bug where constructing a Magical Self-Defense room before receiving the related quest could cause the game to freeze.
  
• Fixed an issue where students could sometimes be duplicated, leading to unintended duplicates roaming the academy.
  
• Fixed a rare case where the game could break if the target of a quest disappeared at a very specific moment between two quest steps.

As we prepare for the upcoming Steam Next Fest from February 24 to March 3, we’re rolling out this hotfix to refine the experience and address some key issues. Thank you for all your feedback—it helps us make Wizdom Academy even better!

• Droughts have been reintroduced.
  
• New quests added.
  
• First horde integrated as a teaser for the system.
  
• Various bug fixes and UI optimizations.
  
• The first Recruitment Office can now be purchased even without enough gold to prevent a potential progression-blocking issue.
  
• New dialogues added, with some translations still in progress.
  
• Fixed an issue where roofs were not hidden when building multi-story structures above the ground floor.
  
• New building placement UI now displays placement guidelines, cost, and remaining resources.
  
• Fixed the double Headmaster bug.
  
• Fixed 3D model issues.
  
• Added new animations for professors in panic mode.
  
• Fixed rooms appearing darker when out of mana.
  
• Adjusted the arrow on the first village and recentred the starting view on the world map.
