BETA now finished | A Huge thanks to over 150,000 Ducks!



Hello Everyone.

After an incredible 3 weeks for DUCKSIDE and the development team, we have now completed the first BETA for DUCKSIDE.

With that, we'd like to offer a huge thank you to all of you who took part and helped us improve, develop and grow the game with your feedback, suggestions, insights and positivity since the Beta began. It's been an amazing experience working with you all and we can't wait to share our plans for the future of the game with you in the coming months!

We will have more news on future playtests and other exciting updates coming your way soon, so make sure you stay tuned...

Map wiped for the final weekend!

Hello Everyone!

To kick off the final weekend of the DUCKSIDE beta, we have now released a wipe across all servers. This wipe will only remove bases and may take slightly longer to deploy on certain server regions.

In addition to this wipe, we have implemented a player reporting system for our users to report suspicious activity, cheating or anything that may merit investigation by our team.

BETA Extended to May 6th!



Hello Everyone!

We are proud to announce that following the insane reaction to DUCKSIDE and by popular demand, we are extending the Beta until May 6th!

So for those of you who have not yet joined the flock, now's your last chance to get in on the action and for those of you who have already joined us for this incredible journey, you have even more time to keep your amazing feedback coming and one final weekend to ruffle as many feathers as possible...

Massive thanks to everyone who has participated in the Beta so far, your feedback and suggestions have not only directly contributed towards the improvement of the game over the course of the Beta, but also helped us map out our development plans for the coming months as we build up to the next playtest! (Which we'll have more news about very soon...)

DUCKSIDE Beta | Update #2 Out Now


Hello Flock,

We have now released our second major update for the DUCKSIDE beta. Once again, these changes have been built entirely around feedback and suggestions we've received from our players, so please don't hesitate to head over to our Discord and keep the feedback coming!

Check out the full changelist here:

  • Cheaters being able to loot through the walls is fixed
  • Changed sleeping duck animation
  • Added iron tools recipes in drop and in vending machines
  • After death, the same hat stays on the duck
  • Research table can be removed from the base
  • Decreased sleeping bag hp and how the damage applied
  • Items that do not fit into the recycler spawn in front of the recycler
  • Added muzzle flash for bow, crossbow, nailgun
  • Eco raid damage was reduced x2 for twig wall, x4 for wooden wall
  • Beak cannot damage walls


In addition, maps will be wiped, blueprints will stay.

DUCKSIDE Beta | Update #1 Out Now



Happy Friday to everyone in the flock!

We have now released our first major update for the DUCKSIDE beta. This update is built upon and based around the feedback and suggestions we've received from our players in the week since the Beta began and has brought a number of major changes to the game!

[h3]Building[/h3]
  • Building decay mechanic has been added.
  • Now you need to bring collected feathers to the Idol installed at home to prevent decay of structures
  • Nests can no longer be installed in prohibited areas
  • Nests can be destroyed with melee weapons
  • Changed the visual of the first level buildings
  • The available amount of resources for building upgrades has been slightly increased

[h3]Landscape[/h3]
  • Fixed issues with underwater construction and level boundaries
  • Shrines are now displayed on the map and are slightly larger to make them easier to find. Changed the description of related items.
  • Added additional islands to the map

[h3]Craft[/h3]
  • Craft queue issue fixed

[h3]Weapons and Tools[/h3]
  • Crosshair displayed by default
  • Nailgun's firing range has been reduced
  • Metal tools are no longer available by default, moved to blueprints
  • Explosive arrows craft are easier to open
  • Reduced C4 drop rate, added medium explosives
  • Less ammo in loot

[h3]Other[/h3]
  • Performance and stability fixes
  • Favorite server and last server now automatically saved when exiting the game
  • Distance Opacity issues fix
  • NPC clothing issue fix
  • Duck hit VFX update
  • Fixed hunger issue
  • Fixed issues with trees respawning
  • Loot in traffic lights on the railway has been slightly changed
  • Added loot to the ore nodes
  • Added bonus loot when the node is completely gathered
  • Resources cannot be gathered in the safe zone
  • Fixed visual issues with water display
  • The assortment of blueprints in vending machines is not shuffled when the server is rebooted
  • Added optional chat filter
  • Password entry on the door is hidden by default (for streamers)
  • Adjusted the HP of doors with combination locks containing bonus loot
