Weekly & Bi-weekly servers wiped



Weekly and bi-weekly servers are in the process of getting wiped, please see below for details on when each region will be wiped.

Blueprints will be wiped for all servers on the 29th.

Here are the wipe times for each region:

  • US - EAST NY 9pm UTC
  • US - CENTR NY 10pm UTC
  • US - WEST NY 11pm UTC
  • Brazil 8 pm UTC
  • AU 6 am UTC
  • EU - 3pm UTC
  • UK - 5pm UTC
  • CN - 9 am UTC
  • SIA - 10am UTC


In addition, we are currently discussing the possibility of adjusting the wipe schedule to increase the amount of time between wipes. We will keep you updated on any changes in future updates!

Weekly servers wiped | Wipe schedule updated



New wipe schedule is here!

Weekly wipes will occur on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of this month.

Bi weekly servers will wipe on the 8th and 22nd.

Blueprints will be wiped for all servers on the 29th.

Update 0.7.11.996 Patch Notes



Update 0.7.11.996 is now available, check out what's new below:

  • Fixed a bug with placing a floor door
  • Fixed a bug with determining stability in construction (after destruction, objects could hang in the air)
  • Fixed a bug with a triangular floor, it was impossible to place walls under an improved floor
  • Players can no longer spam reports
  • Shot validation improvement - less missed shots
  • Fixed dismantling triangular doors without an idol
  • Fixed dismantling objects (for example, workbenches) which did not give crafting kits in the base without an idol
  • Removed the check for player spawn, so that they are not teleported to a random spawn during a collision
  • Fixed that there was no animation of a character's shot when aiming for a local player
  • Added zoom when aiming
  • Molotov now damages sleeping ducks
  • Anti cheat will show report id - users will be able to appeal to EAC with it
  • Map - 2 cave systems
  • Weapon modifications - bullet speed increase, recoil change
  • Bullet craft price adjustments
  • Balanced heal items
  • Added floating platforms with the loot on the water

DUCKSIDE | October Development Update



Hey all!

It’s been just over a month since we launched DUCKSIDE into Early Access and we’re absolutely blown away by the response we’ve seen so far!

Today, we’re going to update you on what’s going on at the DUCKSIDE HQ, with some details about upcoming major additions, our next patch and some organizational improvements we’ve made to improve the player experience in DUCKSIDE…


[h2]Addressing cheaters/hackers[/h2]

First off, we have now established a dedicated cheat prevention admin team to manage player reports. Previously, we had no dedicated personnel to handle the deluge of reports we had been receiving, with the team members instead dealing with them on an ad-hoc basis. With the introduction of our new admin team, we are in a much better position to address player reports, cheats and hackers in a more organized and timely manner.

[h2]Immediate focuses:[/h2]

Implementation of a new Anti-cheat system

EAC has been holding the fort for us since our first beta all the way back in April, but there are some essential features we need for this style of game that the platform doesn’t offer at this time. So in the interest of improving the security of the game and maintaining our community's enjoyment of DUCKSIDE, we will soon be implementing a new anti-cheat system which has proven successful in other similar titles that we hope will be more suited to our needs.

New monument - Stranded submarine

The Early Access release saw the introduction of the Oil Rig, which marked a new approach to how we design our monuments and is something we will be continuing with our next major monument: The Stranded Submarine.

Work is well underway and we hope to have this introduced either before the end of the year, or early 2025. We will keep you updated on our efforts!



Tool durability system:

At this moment in time, tools don’t degrade with use, making eco raiding a lengthy but extremely viable option for anyone who wants to save their resources and are willing to dedicate their time to it. The team are working to implement a weapon durability system that will ideally shift the raiding emphasis back to designated raiding equipment, requiring more skill, planning and rarer resources.

Thanksgiving Update/Event

These ducks love a national holiday, especially if it means that other birds have to deal with the humans wrath for a few days....

New hats, new skins, new base decoration items and more are coming to DUCKSIDE in celebration of Thanksgiving this November!

Finally, let’s take an Early look at what's planned for the next upcoming patch which we’ve built around some of the most common reports and feedback we’ve received from players over the last few weeks.

We’re hoping to release this update later this week or early next:

Bug Fixes

  • Base registration improvements.
Anti-Cheat and Reporting
  • Players will no longer be able to spam reports.
  • Anti-cheat will now show report ID, allowing users to appeal to EAC with it.
Map and Content Updates
  • Map - adding 2 cave systems.
Weapon Modifications
  • Weapon modifications: bullet speed increase, recoil change.


This is a tentative list, and we will be monitoring player feedback to further identify anything that we can resolve in time for the patch. So if you have anything you feel needs urgently addressing, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

All servers & blueprints wiped



Today we have wiped all official weekly and bi-weekly servers. This wipe removes both bases and blueprints.

Moving forward, we will be deploying wipes on Fridays (next wipe scheduled for November 1st) and will continue to adjust the wipe schedule based on player feedback. Blueprint wipes will continue to be monthly.
