Giving Back to TRIBES 3 & Starsiege: Deadzone Players

To our community,

Thank you so much for buying our games! To give back for your support, we’re offering credits to all players who made purchases in Starsiege: Deadzone or TRIBES 3 in the past:

  • If you made any purchases in Starsiege: Deadzone or TRIBES 3 before June 27, 2024, you’ll receive credits towards our new game, Ultra Strikers.
  • For every dollar you spent on Starsiege: Deadzone or TRIBES 3 before June 27, 2024, you’ll receive a dollar in credits towards Ultra Strikers. For example, if you spent $10 in Starsiege: Deadzone, and $20 in TRIBES 3, you’d receive $30 in credits to use towards Ultra Strikers.
  • The credits will take into account all purchases you made on Starsiege: Deadzone or TRIBES 3 before June 27, 2024, including base purchases of the games, season passes, cosmetics, etc.
  • For past purchases in foreign currencies, the credit amount towards Ultra Strikers will be matched 1:1 in the same currency (with conversion applied if needed). 

Credits towards Ultra Strikers will be granted to the Steam account that was used to make purchases in Starsiege: Deadzone or TRIBES 3, at a later time. You do not need to take any action at this time to receive your credits towards the new game. As Ultra Strikers nears launch, we’ll provide more detail on how the credits can be used for Ultra Strikers purchases.



These credits are meant to give back to players who supported us in early development. We’re doing our best to support TRIBES 3 with limited updates (along with an upcoming discount sale to bring in more players), and plan to return to Starsiege Deadzone once the company has the resources, but unfortunately neither game had enough success yet to support the studio and can’t be our main development focus right now (as much as we love them).

Thank you for your support. Going forward, we’ll continue to focus on updating existing games as much as we can, while creating new games players enjoy. We love making games, we love playing games, and thanks again for giving our games a shot and being part of the community!

    - Direct Hit Damage Modifier Increased from 1.154 to 1.2

  • Sparrow
    - Significantly Reduced Recoil and Visual Kick
    - Increased Magazine Size from 12 to 14
    - Passive Reload Time Improved from 3 seconds to 1.75 seconds

  • Shotgun
    - Fixed a bug causing the shotguns’ spread pattern would be modified by the shooter’s aim pitch
    - Fixed a bug making it so that firing the shotgun would not break the shooter out of stealth
    - Passive Reload Time Improved from 3 seconds to 2.3 seconds

  • Shocklance
    - Base Damage Raised from 750 to 800
    - Backstab Damage Reduced from 2250 to 2000

  • Stealth
    - Fixed a bug making it so stealthed players would not be revealed by speed, player proximity, or the enemy Radar base element

    - Station Health Increased from 250 to 600

  • Heavy Shield
    - Now lowers maximum energy to 50 while active instead of slowly draining energy

General

  • Damaging a player during their recall channel will award you with a kill and spawn a health nugget.
  • Players now earn kill credit after damaging a player that kills themself.
  • Sensors now regenerate themselves after 3 minutes
  • Recall channel time lengthened from 2 seconds to 3 seconds

FIXES
  • Fixed several issues causing shots to not properly register
  • Fixed a bug where flag could block explosions while it was on its stand
  • Fixed a bug causing player models to not load in properly at the start of matches
  • Fixed a bug causing grow curves to be inconsistent and revert projectile sizes down to 0.01, making it significantly harder to hit targets at range
  • Fixed a bug in which bullets could collide with and detonate grenades
  • Fixed a bug making it so your weapon would stop firing if you continued holding the fire button after finishing a grenade throw
  • Fixed a bug with weapon inheritance in which a projectile would under inherit velocity if not firing fully perpendicular to your direction of movement
  • Fixed a bug where mouse sensitivity ADS was not getting the same scale as mouse sensitivity.


KNOWN ISSUES
  • DLC rewards may sometimes grant the items and not show a crate to open.

April Patch Update

Hey all!

We just wanted to give an update on where things are at with the upcoming patch. While our original goal was to get it out by the end of April, there were numerous factors that lead to the decision to push it back a short while. We believe this will be in the best interest for everyone as we want to make sure we can properly integrate the feedback that we are getting from our PTS testing, and get this patch in the best place that it can be!

4/5 Emergency Patch

This is a small patch to address the server disconnects/crashes were seeing after putting the major patch out. There are also a few smaller changes/fixes we pushed!


Here are the changes:
  • Fix for server crashes in 12v12 CTF
  • Added Plasma Gun to Heavy Defense and Heavy Offense
  • Fixed an issue where the Friendly Force fields could be placed close to each other while the generator was down
