Valor of Man Demo: Patch 0.6.2 – Combat Log and Starting Equipment Loadouts

Hello Wardens,

This update gives your beloved heroes some well-deserved attention!

You can now choose the starting gear for each hero, letting you strategize from the very beginning of a new run.

We've also given heroes a bit more presence (literally)! Larger models make them stand out on the battlefield, and new animations add flair and personality to each ability. It’s all about bringing your heroes to life with more detail and personality.

The new Combat Log makes it easy to track every move (including character banter), so you can plan better and react faster.



As we continue development with Chapters 2&3, we can't wait to share all the exciting new content we've been cooking. Stay tuned!

General:
- Added starting equipment selection for each hero class.
- Added a combat log for easier following of what happens during fights.
- Larger hero models.
- A hero animation is played on any ability/attack selection in the action bar.

UI, Texts and Usability:
- Improved how Hero selection works by permitting it when moves or attack actions are selected
- Automatically select Main attack after doing a hero action to permit a better flow for Hero selection.
- Improved 2 handed attack animations.
- Animations: Improved animations on hero select, ability select, and unarmed casting.
- Help: Add courage refresh information, added tip for multiple hit weapons.
- Renamed Beholder to Dreadeyes for more swag.
- Renamed Power Keyword to Might.
- Show notification to target heroes/enemies when a buff/debuff action is selected.
- Abilities which can't strain show "-" in ability details.
- Show feedback form later after a run ends.

Balance:
- Nerfed Mass Heal.
- Redesign Slime enemy.
- Buffed Dreadeyes Gaze damage.
- Buffed Dreadeyes Static Discharge - can no longer fail.
- Dreadeyes Retreat reaction now Disengages.
- Buffed Tormentor Harrow action.
- Added Critical Resistance to all large enemies.
- Nerfed Slayer Toughness.
- Nerfed Scorpion.
- Nerfed Toxic Mushroom.

Bugfixes and Stability:
- Fix bug where a move action from enemy card hover was shown in hero action bar.
- Fix bug where changing selected action while hovering a unit didn't change cursor.
- Fixed Dreadeyes: Vigilance description not mentioning rotation.
- Fix Ogre Recover card no showing because it was not unlocked in demo.
- Fix grid bug where an attack range was shown after a hero started to move.
- Fixed a bug where Lances didn't correctly enable the Joust event option.
- Orc Pain Tolerance buff is now visible in the unit overlay.
- Fixed Skeleton Warrior spin attack animation.
- Fixed Cutscene overlapping text.
- Reduced Paring Knife size.
- Removed option to switch left/right clicks.
