Our community is evolving alongside the game, and while we’re hard at work on content updates and new features, we wanted to show our appreciation by tackling a wide range of issues.

Today’s update is our way of saying thank you for all the thoughtful feedback you’ve shared. We’ll keep improving every aspect of the game together.

[h2]Main features[/h2]

On the accessibility side, new players can now select their preferred language directly from the starting menu when creating their profile.

Starting today, new classes unlock by winning a run. To unlock additional classes, you’ll need to increase the difficulty and take on the next Valor. Progression remains fast, as the goal is to encourage variety rather than grind.

Elites and Bosses are now more dangerous at low Valors, while remaining largely unchanged at higher Valors. Additionally, the Regal Shade and Onyx Gargoyle have received a full rework.

New Features:
- Unlock new hero classes on win.
- Select language on New Profile.
- Redesigned Regal Shade.

Quality of Life Improvements:
- Vain Paladin now shows as the first variant when preparing to start a new run.

Balance:
- Buffed all Elite & Boss damage. Reduced scaling on high Valor to compensate.
Dev Comment: We want to make Elites and Bosses more dangerous from the get go. We're adjusting scaling so the overall power is the same on high Valor.

- Nerfed Mummy Wrappings to 25% Damage Resistance (previously 50%).
- Nerfed Mummy Pharaoh Action, no longer targets the lowest health hero.
- Starting Boon: Buffed Gold for 4 Conditions starting Boon to 120 gold (previously 80).
- Starting Boon: Removed free rare artifact at starting Boon.
- Starting Boon: Removed free ancient artifact at starting Boon.
- Reworked Aegis, now gives Mind Shield (previously gave Survive Trauma).
- Reworked Arcane Shield, can now be cast on any hero, but only provides 1 stack of Toughness.
- Reworked Arcane Shroud, can now be cast on any hero, but only provides 1 stack of Evasion.
- Reworked Belt of the Dancer, now gives +5 evasion for 1 turn whenever you Move.
- Reworked Crying flower, now gives 1 Mind Shield and costs 1AP.
- Reworked Belt of Iron Will, now gives Protect 1 and costs 1AP.
- Reworked Tabard of Vigor, now only gives +1 AP (previously 2), but can be used multiple times in the same fight.
- Reworked Stoneskin, can now be used by more classes, but only grants 1 stack of Invulnerability (previously 2).
- Buffed Bless, now has cooldown 4 (upgrades to 3).
- Buffed Demoralize, can now dispel any enemy and has cooldown 3 but costs 1AP instead.
- Buffed Altruistic Doll, now has cd 3 but costs 1AP. (previously once per fight).
- Buffed Robe of Power, now gives +10% SpellPower for the whole fight instead of the next spell.
- Buffed Godslayer debuff to +25 Strain (previously +50).
- Buffed Night Crawler Stealth ability to cooldown 3 (previously once per fight).
- Buffed Abyssal Rift Teleport ability to cooldown 3 (previously once per fight).
- Buffed Aether Nexus, can now be used by any hero.
- Buffed Hoplite Leggings, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Ethereal Censer, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Crusader Greaves, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Crusader Leggings, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Bandlet of the Warden, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Scorpion Stinger, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Paladin Symbol, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Gold Necklace, can now be used by more classes.
- Buffed Bulwark, unupgraded ability now gives +1 Damage Resistance.
- Nerfed Viper Beaked Helm, now costs 1AP (previously 0).
- Nerfed Stone Plate resist Status Effects to 25% (previously 50%).
- Nerfed Blackthorn Hauberk damage buff, now can only be used once per fight.
- Nerfed Freedom Pendant immunity buff, now can only be used once per fight.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where Golden horseshoe didn't grant extra gold from fights.
- Fixed a bug with Mastering conditions.
- Fixed ability unlock count calculation at the end of the run.
- Fixed a bug where Critical Damage buffs don't apply to Spells.
- Fixed a bug where Cruel Tactics would proc on heroes when enemies used Chain Lightning.
- Removed obstacles blocking the camera in levels: Cave and Ogre chieftain camp.
- Gold cost is now shown distinctly from gold gain in events.
- Improved Tormentor Purge critical description.
