Hello everyone,

and just like that, Christmas is just around the corner ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐ŸŽ„

  • worked on level design for new islands


[h3]๐ŸŽจArt[/h3]
  • created ruin concepts for modular kit
  • created the UI art for radial menu icons and the world map
  • drew the Christmas marketing artwork





[h3]๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Programming[/h3]
  • fixed a lot of bugs and implemented feedback from playtesting
  • started working on the large world map (working title: the Map Map ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ)


[h3]๐ŸŽ… Other stuff[/h3]
  • continued with the character story design
  • playtested the UX
  • keeping our fingers crossed for tonight (weโ€™re nominated for the German Developer Award) ๐Ÿคž
  • choosing the ugliest gift for the Junk Secret Santa (we'll know the winner tomorrow at our Christmas party) ๐ŸŽ

Hey everyone,

Here's what we've been up to over the last few weeks. Looking at this list, we've been quite productive:

[h3]๐ŸŽฎ Gameplay[/h3]

  • worked on level design for new islands
  • created a new sandbox island with all the current features
  • designed new mechanics to discover as you explore the islands

[h3]๐ŸŽจ Art[/h3]

  • created the 3D trampoline model
  • created the UI art for the map tools, the map menu and the radial menu
  • drew the Halloween artwork (which we posted here))

[h3]๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Programming[/h3]

  • implemented a looooot of UI:

    • radial menu
    • pencil case and pencils
    • map tools
    • sticker menu
    • and more, which will remain a secret for now ... ๐Ÿคซ

[h3]โœ๏ธ Other stuff[/h3]

  • worked on side character story design
  • tested the map UI and traversal tools
  • exhibited at GameOn in Vilnius, Lithuania (18th to 20th October)


And now that Halloween is over, it feels like Christmas is just around the corner ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Hello everybody,

a lot has happened in the last few weeks, there is more and more to find and explore on our islands ๐Ÿ”Ž

[h3]๐ŸŽจ Art[/h3]

  • created the concept art for a bridge, a trampoline and a geyser
  • transformed the concept art for the bridge and the geyser into 3D models




[h3]๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Programming[/h3]

  • implemented UI interactions on the map (e.g. placing stickers)


[h3]๐Ÿ“– Other[/h3]

  • created overarching story design
  • UX design for map interactions
  • moved into our office (it's mostly functional, coziness comes next ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ)

we had such a great time last month at gamescom! We were happy so many of you stopped by to play โ€˜Map Mapโ€™ ๐Ÿ’š

Here is what we have been up to over the past month:

  • created 3D cliff models
  • designed stickers for gamescom (did any of you participate in the stamp rally?)

  • last bugfixes for the gamescom demo ๐Ÿž

  • recorded sounds for drawing and erasing on the map
  • added new ambience for the swamp biome
  • improved walking sounds ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

  • exhibited at gamescom and GermanDevDays
  • loooooots of administrative stuff ๐Ÿฅฑ
