Lambda Wars Patch 4th March 2021 (1.1)
Its been just over two weeks since we released Lambda Wars, and wow, what a response! The playerbase saw a huge increase in size. We've seen a very large amount of articles in the games media. Thank you for all the kind messages and for playing the game!
The release patch saw a large amount of new combine units which had shifted the balance into the Combine's favor. In 1.1 we're addressing this issue and we're introducing the latest unit: Rebel with Tau Cannon.

Online Lobby Browser:
- Fixed list lobby list overflow not being hidden in the lobby browser
[h2]Game[/h2]
- Fixed mortar synth upgrade name description.
[h2]Balance[/h2]
- Only two workers can build a building at the same time.
- Second worker gives 25% boost to construction process.
[h2]Rebels[/h2]
- Added new unit: rebel with tau cannon.
Hopper-mine upgrade:
- Research time reduced from 60 sec. to 30.
C4 upgrade:
- Research time reduced from 55 to 24.
- Price reduced from 20/40 to 20/20.
Explosive bolt upgrade:
- Moved back into munition depot.
Scout:
- Build time increased from 11 sec. to 15.
Vort:
- Increased initial energy from 80 to 160.
- Attack cost increased from 4 energy to 18.
- Vort can now detect invisible units.
- Decreased stun duration on attack from 2.1 sec. to 1.05.
- Antlion recall ability cooldown reduced from 22 sec. to 20.
Special Ops:
- Added new unit with tau weapon.
- Price reduced from 60/40 to 50/30.
- Build time reduced from 54 to 44.
Tech. center:
- Price changed from 35/50 to 40/40.
- Requires now special ops.
RPG:
- Build time reduced from 38 sec. to 30.
- Requires now tech. center.
- Bonus damage against heavy units increased from 20 to 35.
Flamer:
* Attack speed reduced from 0.10 to 1.13.
Rebel Heavy:
- Build time reduced from 30 to 28.
- Attack speed increased from 0.09 sec. to 0.075.
- Health increased from 260 to 280.
- Price reduced from 45/30 to 40/25.
Dog:
- Damage increased from 45 to 50.
- Can be repaired now by engineers.
- Slam animation slowed down by 50%.
Barracks:
- Build time reduced from 45 sec. to 38.
Partisan with SMG:
- Build time increased from 12 to 15.
Junkyard:
- Increased interval for scrap generation from 8 sec to 10.
- Each junkyard can now generate scrap.
Teleporter:
- Teleport ability doesn't take any requisition on use.
- Building price changed from 0/60 to 60/60.
- Ability cooldown increased from 16 to 40.
Radio Tower:
- Increased ability range from 6144 to 8192.

Synth attribute:
- Removed all bonus damage.
Loyal:
- Build time increased from 6 sec. to 8.
Crab Synth:
- Removed "large" and "pulse" attributes
- Increased damage from 4 to 14.
Strider:
- Removed "tech center" requirement.
- Added "Pulse Cannon" attribute: 4 damage against medium units, 3 damage against heavy units.
Claw scanner:
- Can detect now invisible units.
- Cost reduced from 20/30 to 20/15.
Combine heavy:
- Increased move speed from 192 to 224.
- Reduced hp from 300 to 250.
Hunter:
- Splash damage radius increased from 48 to 64.
Rollermine:
- Health reduced from 155 to 115.
Mortar Synth:
- Removed global sound on attack.
Metro riot:
- Build time reduced from 15 sec. to 10.
Sniper:
- Max energy reduced from 80 to 60.
- Steady position time increased from 3.51 to 4.67
Special Ops:
- Increased cost from 60/30 to 60/40.
Energyball:
- Life time reduced from 1.34 sec to 1.
Floor turret:
- Research time reduced from 30 to 25.
- Upgrade price reduced from 30/35 to 20/20.
- Price to set up a turret reduced from 20/25 to 15/20.
- Attack range reduced from 704 to 640.
* Headcrab canisters:
- Empty canister: range reduced from 16000 to 7680.
- Poison headcrab canister: range reduced from 6512 to 5120.
- Fast headcrab canister: range reduced from 4480 to 5120.
- Regular headcrab canister: range increased from 4480 to 5120.

- Cost increased from 60/40 to 60/50.
